Krispy Kreme

WARNING! Google says this store opens at 5:30 am, but they don’t open until 6. Had to sit around on the parking lot for a while. Otherwise, looking forward to their donuts.

I still love Krispy Kreme but I must have them hot. What a wonderful surprise as I was on my way home after 9 pm and saw the hot light on. I had a coupon too! Yay! Found out this location has the hot donuts from 5pm I think it was into the night. Was glad to hear it. All I need is one or two every once in a while and I’m good for a bit. BUT THEY MUST BE HOT! Yum!

Excellent location! The customer service at this location is great. I accidentally dropped a dozen donuts on my way out and was completely fine with paying for another dozen to replace. The staff didn’t blink an eye in offering to replace them for free. I was really impressed.
Bonus — the doughnuts are AWESOME too!

I went through this morning to get two glazed donuts. As the worker brought my donuts to the window I noticed she was wearing gloves. She pressed a few buttons (on the screen) on the register with her gloves still on and the buttons didn’t do what she needed them to do so she licked her thumb and pressed the register button again. She licked her gloved thumb after not removing the gloves to use the register. When she reached for my payment I said never mind because I just saw you lick your thumb. She said she did it so the register button would work. My question is, how long have those gloves been on her hands when not handling food and how many times had she already licked that thumb?

NY family loves Krispy Kreme. The donuts are always fresh. The service is always good.

If you want to chance getting really sick, come on by this location. The person boxing the orders had on gloves. She then took dirty cash and credit cards with those same gloves, never changed them, and went back to grabbing donuts. She also ran the register, made coffee… all with those same gloves on and went right back to filling orders. This is unsanitary and plain dangerous. We all know how dirty money is, not to mention credit cards that are handled by just as many people. The donuts in the case were clearly yesterday’s selection, many Halloween themed and this was Nov. 1. Donuts were all sunken in and nasty looking. I’ll save my money and not chance a stomach flu.

This morning started out great! I had a little prayer time and then ‘GREAT’ customer service at the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts at the corner of McDermott & HWY 75!!! Love this place!

My son loves donuts. He absolutely adores these donuts! When they are fresh out of the oven, they are heavenly!

Tastes just like they always do, fresh and delicious. What I really want to write a review about is the service. Yes, they have had a few technical difficulties with the lights and drive thru microphone not working, but the employee that I’ve always seen in the drive thru is wonderful. Her name is Roxanne. She is always friendly and obviously doing the very best she can with the technical difficulties. I don’t see any reason to complain about the minor issues when the donuts are great and the employees are friendly.

I was excited to try these donuts after everyone told me how amazing they were. I was not let down by the taste! The donuts were delicious. But, the service was not as pleasing. The cash register was having problems, which I understand. So, it took a couple minutes for my order to be cashed out. I ordered three donuts and two drinks. I got the donuts right away and the frozen drink took a couple minutes, but they forgot my fountain drink. And there wasn’t anyone in the line before or after me. So, I reminded them I got a medium drink. They got me a drink, but it was not a medium. At this point I just wanted to go back home, so I left. Customer service is such a huge thing for me and I didn’t feel welcome or like I was top priority. I was disappointed to say the least.

OMG. LET ME TELL YOU MY EXPERIENCE. I CANNOT WAIT. Let’s just start with very slow service for 3 people. Waited almost 30 minutes to get 4 pre-​made donuts while 2 – 3 people were washing the machine, 1 making a drink, and 1 standing around clueless. Not one person walked up and asked if we needed any help. Pretty much ignored us. But of course their donut is always good but not enough to give them more than two stars. Stars are just for the taste of the food. So if you have time to spare and wait in the morning go ahead and drop by for some donut. Otherwise, I’m sure there are faster service around for donuts.

I am so happy that our area has a delicious warm donut heaven again, I was so sad when the one in Plano went away!
I have been here several times and found the doughnuts just as wonderful each and every time! Nothing as wonderful as a hot warm glazed fresh Krispy Kreme!
My family likes the chocolate glazed filled ones but nothing like the original for me! I have tried a couple of their drinks now and even though I am very picky about coffee I have found that their Skinny Caramel Late and frozen coffee are also excellent!
I am heading there today because I found a recipe for Krispy Kreme Pie!

I love Krispy Kreme, but this location has disappointed me multiple times now. Every time the sign is on, I think I’m going to get fresh donuts but they give me hard, cold ones instead. I have to go inside (after going through the drive thru) and ask to get fresh ones. All their donuts taste really stale and one of the lemon filled ones was so disgusting! It was slimy, hard, and smelled bad. :/​I really hope this location gets better because it’s very close by.

Yes! Krispy kreme is back! See how excited I seem. now let’s talk about the actual experience. Maybe because I came here during the grand opening period or maybe because I came here around 1 pm in the afternoon. Whatever the case is, the donuts tasted stale, therefore, I was highly disappointed.
I ordered through the drive-​thru, and although the service was fast, the product failed. The location is not in a good spot either, due to traffic.
There is a lot of room for growth here since it is new. I would visit it again maybe in the summer, to give it some time to develop it’s staff and implement the changes within their ability.

Caught the hot sign on. Hopped in the drive thru. A min or two later, I was grabbing my chest and biting my fist in dramatic fashion as I drove away with freshly made, warm, melt in your mouth doughnuts. I’m going back tomorrow.

I am so excited Krispy Kreme opened up in Allen. It is amazing. I love the hot and fresh doughnuts. Remember to look for the sign if it isn’t on you aren’t getting fresh doughnuts. The staff is incredibly nice. We went when they didn’t have napkins but had an order coming in the girl was apologetic and gave us a free donut to go with our purchase. Awesome!

This is everything you’d expect from a Krispy Kreme. You go here when the hot light is on and you get hot original glazed donuts. They’re amazing. You’re free to get the other flavors as well but I’m no doughnut expert and I’d personally only go when the hot light is on.
They’ve got a drive thru and they are located where the old burger king used to be. It can be a little annoying getting out of the parking lot during rush hour since the light at 75 tends to back up.

Made the mistake of ordering doughnut holes and found out they’re 2 days old. Good thing we haven’t left the drive through lane when we did. Manager swapped out the 24 count for 5 regular size original glazed. They were warm and oh-​so-​perfect! We’ll definitely be going back to this location.
Drive through was fast. Employees during the order taking process were still a little slow. Manager had good customer service. Overall, a decent experience.

Krispy Kreme is back! very attentive staff and fresh coffee. Formerly a Burger King, this place is packed with customers who obviously missed the fresh treats.
