Clean store, lines weren’t to bad. I asked the front about an item to complete a craft, they told me what I needed and directions to find it. The only complaint I had is that I passed several workers on the floor, and it seemed they worked really herd to avoid all eye contact… no offers of help, no «Good Day!» Just busy stocking shelves… hence the clean store I guess.

Awesome variety. Great selections of decorative home items. A must for people looking for craft materials. They have coupons on Phone Books you can use all year round. The prices are generally good and sometimes cheaper than the competitors. They need improvement on the fabric department my wife says. Every time my wife goes there I have to call her to say it’s time to go home, she is addicted to this place.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Went in there today and the girl who waited on me never took a break from talking to her co-worker to acknowledge my existance. She did the whole transaction without speaking to me at all. I told her have a nice day with no response. I am just blown away! Screw this place.

This is a very congested Hobby Lobby and they NEVER have many lines open, which makes is stressful when you have kids with you.

I have a hobby, a crafty hobby. I called Hobby Lobby to see if they had supplies for my craft. The first lady that answered said she thought they had supplies, but transferred me to the crafts department to make sure. The lady in crafts couldn’t understand me even though I clearly said pot holder loops twice. «No, we don’t have that», she finally said. I really needed some loops so I said, «Are you sure because the first lady said you did». «Hold on». Another lady got on and I told her what I needed and she said they had a whole end cap of pot holder supplies. I told her what happened with the first craft lady and she said nothing. Going to another craft store for crafty hobby supplies.

I always end up coming out of this store with things I didn’t intend to buy. It’s a busy place but they usually have plenty of workers to make things run smoothly.

I love Hobby Lobby, and the whole idea that they give their employees off on Sundays is admirable. I think their selection is way nicer than Michael’s Craft Stores. From seasonal items to crafts and yarn supplies, it really has it all. Plus a great selection of colorful bandannas, which i use to put my hair up at the pool with some conditioner.(just a side note) lol. However, I agree with the reviewer who wrote that sometimes the fabric cutting can have an obnoxiously long wait time. Their fabric selection is kind of so-so. Buttons, nope, that selection is even worse. Jo-Anne’s is the best for sewing items. I do like the sales at Hobby Lobby and will choose this store over Michael’s hands down, every time.

I would give this place negative stars based on my experience today. My mother needed fabric cut. The lady in front of us thought it was perfectly acceptable to discuss her fabric and patterns for over an hour and not allow ANYONE to have their fabric cut. Even when asked if she would mind if we had three yards of fabric cut she did. Although the lady cutting did nothing wrong she also did nothing right. What should have happened is «It seems you have not decided. I am going to have you to move to the side so that other people may have their fabric cut.» I will not return I am always irritated by crafters that feel that their needs are always so much important then anyone else. I guess you can’t fix stupid.

I’m not that big into crafts, but anytime I need something«crafty» or decorative for the home, Hobby Lobby is the place. I haven’t personally had anything framed there, so I can’t speak to that, but they do have lots of «knick-knacks» for your shelves, cupboards etc. and lots of crafts for both young and old. They have a big selection of yarn and thread for needlepoint, knitting, crocheting etc. and all of the gear you need for your project. They do have sales on a regular basis, so watch for those if you’re stocking up on supplies. Just watch out for the candy near the registers; it tempts me every time. :)

Wow. I think the prices here are great. I wanted to check out what they had in the way of pottery supplies after having checked Michael’s in McKinney. Michael’s didn’t seem to have so much stuff and I thought that I paid a lot for what I had gotten there. Hobby Lobby had a lot better selection and very, very good prices. I am totally blown away. From here on out, I’ll be going to Hobby Lobby first.

This place is HUGE! Move over Michaels! Hobby Lobby is here! I walked in and was shocked at how big this place was! This is a crafter’s heaven! You can find all sorts of things-from paper for scrapbooking, to needles for knitting and decorations for the interior decorator that is hiding inside of you! Everything is in order and the staff is friendly. Just make sure you have enough time to go in and browse around. They are closed on Sundays.
