Still a classic and amazing Italian restaurant! I came here on a Thursday night with my boyfriend and from start to finish we both enjoyed our experience. The food is absolutely wonderful! As a lover of Italian food, I have tried virtually all Italian places and Macaroni Grill still knows what they are doing! The food was hot, fresh and very very tasty! We both«created our pastas» and the dishes were both yummy. Service: A+ Food: A+ Atmosphere: A+ Do not miss out on this restaurant!

This place is great when the right waitress is here. Rhonda is by far the most amazing waitress I’ve ever had! She always takes care of her tables and does it with a great attitude. She finds a way to do the impossible. The food is always good.

What happened to this chain? It used to be this great place with excellent entrees and now they have very limited selection and it is not even that good. It is actually pretty bad. This used to be our favorite restaurant, we would even go there when in Vegas, and the last 2 times we went is has just gotten bad. Probably will not give it another chance — sorry. Went for lunch on Sunday 2 weeks ago around 1pm — there were maybe 4 – 5 tables occupied, that was all, parking lot was almost empty, not a good sign. Maybe it is still time to save Romano’s by going back to where they were in the late 90’s — early 2000? Get some Italian music, flowers, committed staff and bring some real yummy food back!

Went here with a friend on the weekend and was so disappointed. I remember going here years ago with memories of awesome Italian food, hot and fresh, music and great service. I may have just ordered badly but don’t think so. I ordered the chicken parm. I believe these are little fake chicken breasts that were breaded and then over cooked. They came out rubbery and charred. They were served with a lump of angel hair pasta with little clumps of spinach and rubbery slices of garlic mixed in. There was a sauce on the top that tasted kind of like Siracha or something. My friend ordered from the $ 7 in 7 minutes menu — the Caprese sandwich. Although the bread looked good, it was a huge roll that overtook the whole thing. There were giant chunks of tomato slices and the rest just looked kind of dry. The bread that we got served to us before the meal was fresh and hot so we enjoyed dipping it in the olive oil and vinegar. So sad to lose yet another Italian restaurant experience. Not sure why it seems so difficult to make good Italian food but this is not the spot to find it.

The service here was great! I went in with my dad and my grandma. My grandma has dietary restrictions, but our waitress Jillian helped us out in selecting the best dish for my grandma! She was super friendly and also gave us extra bread! The only reason why they did not get all 5 stars is because I asked for no shrimp or peppers on my dish. I saw Jillian write it down, but when I got my order there was shrimp and peppers. It was no biggie, I just removed them and continued eating my yummy pasta!

I went with my family on Sunday night and I was very disappointed and upset as I went in around 6:30pm. We were sat down at our table and ordered our drinks. We ordered our entrée around the same time my kids chocolate milk got to the table around 7pm and my mojito didn’t arrive to my table until 7:30. My kids entrée arrived a little soon after and my entrees that I ordered for dinner and a Togo order didn’t arrive until 7:45 I waited an hour and a half for my food to arrive with a pounding headache and poor service I was just ready to leave I took a couple bites out of my food which was really salty and I love salt but that was too over the top. I asked for everything Togo and went home. I come often for a server I really enjoy but after I saw also how the manager yelled at her I don’t know if I want to come back it was very upsetting to see.

My husband and I come here usually every Sunday. I want to keep this place in business. I think the food is average but they have great prices on beer and wine. The bread is yummy. We love Kori the waitress, she is a doll and one of the main reasons we love to come here. I think she is a bright light to this establishment and always is positive and has a smile.

Used to eat here a lot with the family. Me and the wife went last night at 5:30 before it got busy. When it takes 15 minutes to be acknowledged and I have to ask for drinks then you know the service is going to be slow which it was. The waitress was not interested unusual for this place. That said the lasagne and create your own pasta menu was excellent which was a relief considering the service level. What’s disappointing is that the manager is there but not really paying attention to the service levels and time it takes to welcome guests once they are seated.

My friend and I thought we would try here as I had not been to this location for years! Let’s just say — I now know why! The bartender was great! I wish I could remember his name! Drinks were fast and cold and he was very friendly. The host — not so much. He did not smile, he did not greet us. He asked how many and then walked ahead of us with menus and we were to follow I guess. The waitress — while nice and friendly we were not made aware of the specials of $ 7, 7 minute– we were given menus and that’s it. So we ordered off there. The food — He ordered a Caprese chicken dish — eeewww — the chicken was faked grilled — rubbery and did not even taste or look like chicken. So we sent it back and he had a garden salad for dinner. My pasta was over cooked and the meatballs are from a bag. Really sad stuff. What’s worse, is no one came over(a manager) after we sent our food back! The waitress even questioned our taste in food!!! WTH? Not going back — RIP Macaroni Grill!

The $ 7, 7 minute menu is really nice. I lived my cabrese sandwich and my daughter loved her baked ravioli. The service was great, wait staff friendly. I like the calories posted on the menu. Seems restaurants don’t do that like they used to.

I have honestly never been so disappointed in a meal in my life. I had a long day and ordered the«create your own pasta» because that is my usual order. At any other Macaroni Grill, my order always satisfies me. At this one, I couldn’t even eat a second bite. It was dry. There was hardly any chicken. I paid extra for buffalo cheese and there was barely enough cheese for the first bite. I was disgusted that I paid $ 17 for something I couldn’t even keep down.

I went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. This was my first time dining at Macaroni Grill in about 13 years(same location, as well) and I was really looking forward to it because I had such a great experience the time before. This time… not so much. There were only about 4 other tables occupied with guests, and 3 servers. Our server is normally the bartender, and he was a nice guy. I didn’t have an issue with the service. My issue was with the food. Salty. Almost everything tasted so salty. We ordered stuffed mushrooms to start with, and although those weren’t salty, they were very, very small. I should have taken a photo(I know, this is Unilocal, after all), but at the time it didn’t occur to me to review my experience. I am not exaggerating when I write that they were the size of a quarter. A quarter! Maybe I have been spoiled by other restaurants that serve massive mushroom caps filled with deliciousness, but these poor things were like the shrinky dinks of stuffed mushrooms. So sad. I had a Caesar salad for my meal, and that’s when the saltiness slammed me. I have no idea what they put in their dressing, but I’m fearful of what the sodium intake is. The bread they serve is very salty as well. It is served warm though, and that is a plus. I won’t be returning to this place. The food was just too bad, and the atmosphere was a tad bit depressing as well.

Came late for lunch. Was great! Cliff was our waiter and he was super nice! We ordered the calamari(super tender and still crispy!), pasta Di Mari(good seafood portions) and my chicken Carmela reminded me at the one I make myself! Super good! Oh! And the Rosemary bread was right out of the oven ;-) I real liked the whole experience :-D

Our waiter was Octavio. He was most likely having a bad day because he seemed out of it and when i asked if they serve diet coke, he looked at me like I was speaking in tongues. After my third time asking, he said they have diet coke like if I asked if they had water… Yeah, dude… I wanted a diet coke. Then my husband asked for a specific Italian beer, and Octavio didn’t say anything, just blankly stared at us. It was an awkward few seconds in silence… He was not polite and did not smile. As we were finished, we waiting 20 – 30 minutes for him to come so we could ask for the check and a box. It was starting to get busy, so I understood, but of 5 waiters and 20 tables on a Wednesday night at 6pm? I’ve worked in the industry… I know how it works. That’s not why I’m not taking that too much into account for my review. The chicken parm my hubby had was good. I got fettuccine Alfredo… I’ve had better. The bread wasn’t too bad. I do feel a little weird in my tummy now, but whatever. If Octavio was a bit more focused and polite in the beginning, my evening would have been so much better. In an industry where customer service plays a huge part in achieving success, you would think the waiters and waitresses would put a little more effort in leaving their stress at the door before they start their shift…

The food is good. I gave it 3 stars but I give the server Christian 5 plus stars. He was an amazing server. Very attentive and very nice. Very polite and knows his stuff. I had the grilled chicken and angel hair. It was good. And my mom had the butternut Asiago tortilici. That was better. The only negative is the horrendous sewer smell as you come into the restaurant. It isn’t very appetizing. I would hope to smell pasta and maybe garlic. But that smell just turns my stomach. The best part of the whole experience was our server Christian. He made it that much more pleasant. Thank you Christian.

Our experience was amazing. Skeet took care of us very well. The food was amazing – everything we ordered turned out super delicious. We were fighting over each other’s food because was so good. With that said, you need to order their Remini Pork Skank right now. It’s huge and delicious – every tender bite of it. I love the ambiance of this restaurant. This right mix of beautiful and lovely. Why I don’t come here more often?

Always slow and the servers seem sad every time. Kind of depressing. If you’re gluten free, forget about this place. Even though they have GF penne the servers now on three different occasions made me feel like a second class citizen for bothering them about figuring out a GF option. I’m pretty patient but all in all it’s not worth bothering. Sad because this used to be a great place to eat. At the end of my Gluten Free salad I found a bunch of orzo pasta that I picked out. I’m certain I missed some and now have to deal with a seven day gluten reaction. Thank you Macaroni Grille!!!
