If you ever come to Phở Super Bowl, you will never, ever want to go to another phở place. This restaurant is always clean, the owner is always pleasant and service is quick. The food is amazing!!! Always fresh and the perfectly blended textures and flavors always leaves one longing for more! Ordering an appetizer of Spring Rolls is a must, followed by a bowl of phở or their garlic steak! Yum! So savory! The prices are incredibly reasonable too! So if you’re in San Gabriel, come by, your taste buds will be eternally greatful!

My new go to Viet spot!!! The pork chop is thick, juicy and full of flavor. It was the best Viet pork chop I’ve had, no joke. The egg rolls are super yummy and I love how they give you, noodles, pickled carrots along with the lettuce to wrap. Fast and friendly service, place was clean, parking was easy. I highly recommend!

I’m giving them 5 stars based on 2 factors: 1) They speak perfect English here, so there’s no miscommunication, and 2) The chicken in their chicken phở is «clean» shredded white meat without gobs of fat, gristle, veins, joints, etc. If that makes me a lover of the inauthentic, so be it. I won’t apologize for not liking goobly-gobby, veiny, fatty, tough tendons in my mouth.

Good — not the best, but very good. Authentic. Slow service if it is busy.

I love this place. You can taste the superior flavors offered at this little gem. I’ve had the phở several times as well as the pork vermicelli. Both are really really tasty. The phở broth has a great balance in savory, tartness as well as depth that very few phở places can achieve. The vermicelli is also very tasty, refreshing, and satisfying. The yellow dessert at the end is also very delicious. All around one of my favorite phở places.

This is my to go Phở restaurant, but tonight they really disappointed me. I placed a to go order and I ordered the spring rolls with Shrimp only and I got the spring rolls with pork and I ordered Phở with seafood and I get Phở with rare beef. I was all ready to enjoy a nice bowl of Phở with my recorded T.V. show and now it’s not the same.

I love this place so much! It’s the perfect amount and variety of meat at $ 5.75. Not to mention, their egg rolls are so good and comes decked with a small side of noodles, pickled carrots, romaine lettuce, and mint leaves. The hot soup is traditional and so fulfilling on cold nights. There’s tons of parking and almost never a wait. The longest I’ve waited was 5 minutes when they had to clean up a table. I’ve been coming here at least 3x/month and now more since it’s getting colder!

Juicy traditional phở The food here is good, definitely better than average but still average. The rice dishes are good and decent. The phở’s have the traditional taste and definitely hits the spot. The prices are average and the place is average. It looks like the typical phở places where it’s not that cleanest but it looks like a phở restaurant. You won’t ever have to wait when you come here. It’s always a pretty solid place to go to. Some of my friends really love this place and go all the time, and some just think its average. I definitely think it’s a go to place if you want something quick an easy without the line. Great thing about this place is they take credit cards and its not just cash only so that is definitely a plus.

Really conflicted about whether to give this place a 4 or 3 rating. I love phở, and I actually think this is a super decent location for phở. The prices aren’t too bad, they accept credit cards which can sometimes be a struggle in this area, and service is always quick and friendly. However, they are super inconsistent with their hours. They have posted hours but will randomly not be open when they’re supposed to be. For that reason, even though they’re my go-to phở place in the area(especially since it’s super close to my apt), I had to go with three rather than four stars. The beef phở is my recommendation. Eggrolls are just okay, but sometimes you just gotta order them anyways.

… And the Phở Super Bowl champ goes to… Not this place, but it’s decent. Visitation rights: Been getting my viet food fix for years, but in the recent years… it has slowed down a bit. Location: Located in a sketchy plaza called Landmark Plaza. Their signage is big so you can’t miss it. Ambiance/Décor: Very relaxing with modern furnishings. Service: Service was great and phở came out fast! Food: I have ordered 1) For the appetizer, I would recommend to get their egg rolls, which comes with heaps of greens. Perfectly fried and not to oily. Make wraps with them and dip them in a sea of nuoc mam(fish sauce). Crunch with every bite. 2) For the Phở, I would recommend the Dac Biet: Order the large size! You get a big pile of all the good stuff(beef flank, tripe, tendons, beef balls) and a decent amount of noodles. The soup base was pretty good and I didn’t feel thirsty after eating… So I’m guessing there was 0MSG in it. Make sure you put all the garnishes(basil and sprouts) into your bowl of soup and ask for more lime! :) 3) Buon Thit Nuong Chio Gio: All time fave at any vietnamese phở restaurant. Make sure you gauge how much fish sauce you want to mix in with all the vermicelli, lettuce, and charbroiled pork. You can also give the bowl a small kick by adding some chili paste. Drinks: If you need a palate cleanser, get the rau ma(pennywort) without sugar. Very refreshing and think to yourself that you’re drinking grass! :) Dessert: Free mung bean tapioca dessert! You heard that right folks! Freeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Happy eating everyone! :)

Like other reviewers, we found ourselves here because a nearby competing restaurant closed for a month. Thank you Unilocal for showing this to us. The bowl of phở is abundantly full of food and comes out quick. Phở is one of my favorite meals post-Saturday night whenever I drink too much and Phở Superbowl really hit the spot for me. There was no wait for our party of 6 on Sunday a bit past 11am but the place started filling up once we were done. We left happy after having a large bowl of phở, spring rolls to share, and then the free dessert they gave at the end. The service was great because they were able to up the number of spring rolls from the standard five to six to accommodate our party. Combine that with the value and low price point of this place, I can see how this place can get packed. Recommended!

my husband and i usually go to golden deli, but because they are so baller(decide to close 1 month) we have to venture to other place. first impression. nice parking spaces, restaurant is clean and waitress smiles! yes, they smile! now to the food, my husband order phở tai… soup base is delicious and hot, their egg rolls are perfectly fried. drinks are perfectly mixed … my husband told me to deduct 1 star because he only had a few pieces of meat in his phở. over all, comparable to golden deli without the ridiculous wait. will defiantly return! great stuff!!!

I came here to Phở Super Bowl on a chilly Monday night around 7:30PM. The place was surprisingly packed with a long wait, so I assumed that the food must be good. Told the waitress I would like to be seated inside and she insisted on sitting me outside due to the long wait. I told her I don’t mind the wait, so I waited. 30 minutes later she came up to me and said«Sorry sir the only way we can seat you is if you sit outside.» Okay? Being the patient person that I am, I decided to sit outside of the restaurant despite the rainy weather. Here’s the thing; there were FIVE tables that were open inside of the restaurant. I just finished my bowl of phở, which I will get to later, and the restaurant is basically empty! Worst service ever. Don’t even bother with the phở either. Mediocre broth, noodles came out hard, and only 3 – 4 pieces of rare beef dumped into a «large» sized soup. Look at the photo I attached of this supposedly«large» sized bowl. Ridiculous! Save your time and money by going somewhere else. This is NOT the place to go for authentic phở. At the end of the meal I made sure the staff knew of my terrible experience. What did they do? «It’s so much better outside because it’s quiet.» Phở Super Bowl you guys are out of your mind. I came here to enjoy a nice bowl of phở and instead, I left with a stomach full of disappointments. Bad service, incompetent staff, and worst of all… disappointing food. Verdict: BLACKLISTED. Tap out!!!

For those close friends of mine, they know that my favorite dish of all time and the one I would pick to eat for the rest of my life is com bo luc lac, the shaken steak cubes with tomato rice and salad. I have high standards and judge everything pretty harshly because it is my favorite dish. This place definitely made me happy. I ordered my favorite dish(of course) and was well pleased when it came out. It came out fresh, great looking, great tasting, generously portioned, and you know its great when you lick the plate clean… literally. There was nothing left when I was through. And the best part? It was only $ 9. Yay! I wish it was closer to my house. Great great value. Oh and an added bonus was the free dessert at the end. I don’t know the name but it looked like small tapioca balls. Anyway, this is a personal favorite of mine.

I’ll be honest. I came here because Golden Deli was closed — I’ve never tried Golden Deli before. I was very hungry and had to Unilocal some other Phở place nearby and ended up here. There was lots of people waiting outside and there was no «waitlist». The waiter just called people to get seated based on his memory on who got there first — very inefficient in my opinion. I think it was specially busy that night since Golden Deli was closed. The staff consisted on the a Cashier/Host/Waiter and another person cleaning up the tables for the entire, packed restaurant. Although a table cleared and my GF and I were next in line to get seated, we didnt get seated until 15min after just because it was so busy. I don’t blame them, they were understaffed and overworked so that is why I was patient. Upon getting seated, it did take a while to take our orders — not surprised. Food came out pretty slow as well. We got the Fried Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls and Combination Phở and Coconut Juice. The Fried Egg Rolls were delicious. The Spring Rolls were meh — I was expecting some amazing peanut sauce but it was just Oyster sauce topped with peanuts. The Phở was average — could use more meats. The Coconut Juice was fresh. Overall, not a bad spot for Viet food. But be ready to wait it its busy since they are understaffed.

Whenever I don’t feel like waiting for a table at Golden Deli I come here. This restaurant is located in the same plaza as A&J Bakery and an Indian market. The parking lot appears small but there is plenty of underground parking available. When you walk into the restaurant you’ll see this is a no-frills kind of place. Every time I’ve been here during peak meal times it’s moderately busy but there are always tables available(yay, no wait!). The menu includes all of the usual Vietnamese phở, egg rolls, and rice plates. Prices are standard, phở around $ 6-$ 8, average rice plates around $ 7-$ 9. Items are slightly cheaper here than at Golden Deli. I typically order a bowl of beef phở with well done flank, rare flank, and tendon or a rice plate/vermicelli with grilled pork(sometimes with egg roll, egg quiche, or shrimp paste). The phở is always tasty and hits the spot but as other Unilocalers have mentioned the broth is better at Golden Deli. The rice plate/vermicelli always comes as a huge dish with large portions. I am always stuffed afterward and sometimes need to take some to-go. The grilled pork is always flavorful and not too dry. When they bring out the check they bring you dessert in the form of a sweet Asian coconut soup(mixed with other ingredients I don’t know) with clear tapioca. I think this is a regular thing now but when I first started coming here we only got dessert about 50% of the time. We didn’t know if they just ran out or if we didn’t meet some spending requirement. Happy that for the past 6 months we’ve received dessert with all of our meals. Woot! If given the choice of Golden Deli or here if both didn’t have a wait, I would choose Golden Deli. However, that doesn’t happen often so I’m happy to come here to get my phở/grilled pork plate fix all of the other times.

4⁄5 for the phở, 2⁄5 for the egg rolls. Decent phở place that you can’t go wrong with. I discovered this place on accident; I didn’t want to wait 45+ minutes for Golden Deli on a weekend night so I Unilocaled phở places nearby. Phở Super Bowl pops up, so I decided to give it a shot. Lots of tables so very little wait time, if there is any. Like most phở restaurants, food takes less than 8 minutes for it to come out. A «regular» bowl, which looks more like a small, costs $ 5.75. A «large» bowl, which looks like a standard size bowl at any other phở restaurant you can go to, is $ 6.50. Egg rolls were MEH. Looked like the frozen kind you can buy at a market. The egg roll and vegetables did come with some noodles, which ended up in my bowl of phở. Complimentary tapioca pudding they gave at the end of the meal was a nice touch. I will be back. Decently sized lot on the premises.

There are many positives to this place, I guess it depends on what you are looking for. If you are a die hard phở fan and are all about the broth, I would recommend driving the extra .1 miles and going to Golden Deli instead. That being said the broth here is still good, just not AS good, in my opinion. The spring rolls here are definitely five stars. The veggies and all inside were crisp and fresh and they didn’t give us a hard time when we asked for no shrimp, which was nice. And to top it all off our waiter surprised us in the end with free dessert! Ive never seen that at a phở place before!

I can’t say I’m the most discerning phở eater(phở generally just tastes good to me…), but Phở Super Bowl delivered. The outdoor seating is a plus, as competitor phở places are not as accommodating to me and my dog. Also service was very friendly and they take Discover, can’t go wrong, man. I got the super bowl of the flank and tendon and it was a very very large portion. Broth had a strong taste that was well received. No complaints here, quality stuff. Got the spring rolls and they were baller too. Got them without shrimp and the staff was still accommodating and not indignant. I’d definitely recommend this place if you are in the general area and want phở.
