Just Grillin’

Very clean and friendly staff. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger he really enjoyed it. I had the fish & chips. Delicious! Their tartar sauce is really good. They make their fries crispy. My favorite way! So glad we found this place

I don’t know what happened to Just Grillin’, they must be under new management or something. I’ve been going here for lunch at least 3 times a week for the past two years since there isn’t much option around the neighborhood. So far this year my experience has been HORRIBLE. They rarely get my orders correct, even though I make an effort to speak very slow and clearly because I’m always certain they’ll give me the wrong thing, not to mention the quality of the food has gone down dramatically (soggy fries, expired salad served as fresh, etc). I hope management reads this and takes action.

This is my fourth time coming here now, and I always leave more than satisfied. The customer service is great. The cashier always gives me suggestions and tips. This time I ordered the tuna melt with sweet potato fries. It was cooked to perfection and tasted extremely fresh. And don’t forget I got 20% off because it was happy hour. AN ABSOLUTE STEAL!

I was in the area for a training and went to the closest shopping center for lunch… this place had a nice crowd outside decided to eat there. I ordered the spicy Buffalo chicken sandwich… it was meh… it has some buffalo flavor but not saucy and not spicy like the name claimed… solid C. I «made it a combo» and got the sweet potatoe fries which were good raise my rating to a C+…

This place has been here for years and I never thought to go. My boyfriend decide to Unilocal it and the pictures got us. The food is very well made. Simple yet well executed. The wings are a great deal. 8 – 10 wings per order depending on who’s cooking in the kitchen and the flavor is on point. Blue cheese or ranch dressing make a great compliment to them but can be eaten without the dipping sauce. So far I’ve had the pastrami burger, the BLT burger, the side salad, chili cheese fries, the burger salad, the mushroom and Swiss burger, and the sourdough burger. Everything has been very delicious and consistent. The portions are great and the price is even better! Even their salad dressings are good. They have about 7 different kinds! Love this place! Always a go to when I don’t want to cook and don’t want the feeling of eating fast food.

Just grillin is an affordable option that I frequent merely because it is right next to school.
Their burgers are pretty tasty. I especially like the mushroom burger and their spicy fries. The salmon burger is a little fishy but ok. All their sandwiches range from $ 5-​$ 8ish. For an extra $ 3.25 you can get a drink and fries. That seems a bit pricey for an add on but you get A LOT of fries.
They also have salads, and they’re HUGE. Good deal for your money. The chicken finger salad can hardly be considered a salad (fried chicken, bacon, avocado, feta cheese, cucumbers, tomato, peppers with lettuce) but who cares about the calories, it’s delicious?
The only thing is that their service is not good. Their cashiers look like they hate their life, and they’re pretty slow. One time I waited 35 minutes for my BURGER to come out. All my friends got their food and the workers kept telling me that burgers take longer to make… didn’t know it would take 20+ minutes longer! It shouldn’t. During the peak lunch hours it’s normal to wait awhile… you were warned!

The Food is good.
I highly recommend «Summer Salad» it’s filling and a delight. The «Veggie Burger» is the bomb it really brings out the taste of all the veggies grilled.
The only reason I give it 3 Stars is the customer service… In all honesty it used to be really good. It’s atmosphere was excellent to be in… Just lately it’s been dropping hard. Just attitude I receive when I go now… Maybe it’s just me but, I’m switching back to subway then. Slowly losing customers. They should work on there customer service more than anything. The food is good, with a side of bad attitude

Delicious, salad portions are wonderful, the last time I came here the portions were very sad, I almost gave up, but I can now say I’m very happy.

I don’t know what happened to this place. I visited this place a few years ago but it’s since gone downhill. Not sure if they had a change or ownership or new cooks but the quality isn’t what it once was.
First off, this place is a burger joint, so that’s how I’m gonna judge them. The patties are pressed down with an iron grill press and it basically squeezes the moisture out of them. They’re left dry and almost rubbery. Plus they’re a lot thinner than from what I remember. I had a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon was overcooked. Felt like I was eating a bacon flavored potato chip. And the buns are dry and taste old.
The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because they give you a decent portion of fries and are seasoned well.
I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this place. The average price for a burger with fries and a drink is $ 9-​$ 11. And there are a lot better places to spend $ 9-​$ 11.

The food here is okay, it was worth it simpy because it was close by. You can find the same thing at a dozen other local places. The place is actually doing so well, however, that they are able to turn customers away and outright ignore them. Customer service here pretty much does not exist, making it not worth coming back to again.

Don’t waste your money. Food took forever even with no one else ordering, the staff was half dead and the food was sub-​par. If I knew I was paying $ 10 a plate for a half assed tuna melt or a flattened burger I would have made it at home. Hey at least both meals came with 35lbs of french fries… that I had to waste because I don’t want to eat 35lbs of French fries!

I come here for the Summer Salad and Chicken Strips. Both are my absolute favorite!
If I could, I’d eat that everyday (not kidding).

Excellent food, great service and fair prices. The place is clean and great menu options. The basket of fries is huge.

I had a Bacon Hamburger with Avocado, its was okay. My coworkers had their Chicken Basket which was a huge portion and they liked it.
Don’t know if I ‘d try other hamburgers or not thou.

Burgers are okay. i feel like the patty is a bit too thin. I had the guacamole bacon burger and when i took a bite, it felt like there was barely any meat. That’s just me though… there’s definitely a thicker patty at Carl’s Jr.
The fries were great though. Large portions and you have a choice between garlic, regular, or spicy. if you order a box of fries prepare yourself for a packed to-​go box of fries!

Good burger joint.
Parking is very convenient because they share the same lot as kohl’s.
For first timers I recommend getting the double ½ lb combo for $ 7.25.
They have those new soda machines that have all the flavors.
I recommend getting the spicy fries. They season them very well.
This place also does melts and salads.
So good alternative if you are sick of the standard fast food burger places.

If you like cheap prices and huge portions, Just Grillin’ is the place to go. SERIOUSLY. Many of their meals can be split two or even three people. The chicken tenders basket with fries is my go-​to item whenever I come here. Five huge pieces of chicken tenders comes with a large amount of fries. You can get your fries hot (they add a spicy powder to it) or regular (without the powder). Sometimes the hot fries can get overwhelmingly salty so I ask for only a small amount of hot powder.
Their Bacon Cheeseburger is also tasty. Honestly, you can’t really go wrong with any of the food selections here. Delicious and large portions, need I go on?
They do have punch cards here; buy 10 burgers and get the 11^th one free, so don’t forget to grab one. They do have a happy hour during the weekdays from 4pm-​7pm, 20%! Such a great deal.

Came in here to check it out. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich meal which comes with the sandwich, fries and a soft drink. The price was great compared to the portion amount. The order came out quick and food was nice and hot. Just the way I like it. The pastrami sandwich was delicious. I had a choice of regular fries or Spicy. I chose the spicy and they where great as well.
Over all great experience and I will return for that same exact meal.
Ps: Everything else that comes out of the kitchen looks great as well.

Was just in the area and wanted to try something new. Typical burger joint, with other sandwich options as well, just too many options. Had the jalapeño Swiss bacon burger combo, included choice of regular fries, spicy fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, etc, with a regular size fountain drink for roughly about $ 9. Burger was just OK. Nothing too special about it. It was totally loaded. More jalapeños than I preferred, but that’s why we have hands to take out what we don’t want. The spicy fries were good. Love that they have one of those newer coke dispensers where you have so many options. Overall, just another regular burger joint like the others…

Last night was my first time dining at Just Grillin between 4 PM and 7 PM on a weekday, so it was my first time to get their «Happy Hour» discount.
I don’t know any restaurant that has a bigger discount, 20 percent.
It came to $ 5 off my dinner check, quite a savings.
Some restaurants offer you five, or ten percent off, which really doesn’t amount to much.
But twenty percent could make the difference for large families being able to dine out, or not.
Of course its the food that brings me back, not the discount.
But its nice to have.
Their $ 7 Philly Cheese Steak sandwich is now my favorite sandwich.
Even better than the much more expensive $ 17 Pastrami on rye with grilled cheese at Langer’s Deli.
