I heard about how amazing the food was from my brother, and his opinion matched mine to a tee. Although my burger was mouthwatering, my friends burger literally had just a cold piece of cheese between the grilled cheese so not all of us had a pleasurable experience. Now onto the customer service, I was very displeased. The reason being that we were literally told to help clean up the trash from the burgers on the table. There was no please or thank you before or after it was completed even with myself acting polite the entire time. I was happy with my own meal, but I don’t think it was worth the 18 dollars I spent on the combo.

I’m pretty sure everyone knows about the«Grill ‘Em All» Food Truck, Right? It’s the Heavy Metal truck that won the first season of The Great Food Truck Race on the Food Network. I have come across this truck several times but I usually like eating off several trucks, I’ll get a slider from one, a taco from another, then a cupcake or something for dessert. I kept checking out the Grill ‘Em All menu though and that Behemoth sure looked good. I finally decided to forgo my usual truck hopping habit and pay a single stop at Grill ‘Em All. Sure $ 12.00 seems a little steep but there is a lot going on in that burger, here’s what’s in it: 7 oz Hamburger, Grilled Cheese Buns, Cheddar, Bacon, Beer Soaked Onions, Pickles, Grandma’s Mosh Pit BBQ Sauce. I got that big, fat Behemoth in my hands and could barely fit it into my mouth(hey, that sounds a little dirty) but I managed. I can eat a lot but I didn’t think I would be able to finish this, I was wrong though because finish it I did and it was good from the first to last bite.

Grill Em’ All is awesome! They have all kinds of interesting burger choices. I’ve eaten at their truck when they went to the food truck festival at Boomer’s and when they came to Downtown San Diego. I’ve had the Blue Cheer and the Molly Hatchet. I think I may have had the witte as well.

Really good burgers, very flavorful and delicious. This food truck was at the Scion Rock Fest in Pomona. It was really cool having the truck there, better then anything else that was in the area. It was a fun experience and we can’t wait to go to the restaurant.

A friend insisted I try this place, because it was the best burger in Los Angeles. He was quite confident of this. Having tried it, I can say it is one of the best, if not the best. I ordered the Witte and Truffle Fries. The Witte comes with cream cheese, deep fried bacon, grilled onions, Sriacha, and malt vinegar aioli. It tasted great. Each of those ingredients bring flavors I love to the burger. The burger was juicy and tasty. The bun was good as well. I could not finish the whole thing, since I also had fries. Even without the fries it might be too much for one sitting. I am looking forward to eating the leftover portion soon. The fries had good flavor and were crispy. They came with a side of aioli. My only issue with the fries is that I got a lot of small fragments that were consequently over cooked because of their size. Not a big deal, just more of an annoyance. I decided on four stars for two reasons. First because I am not a food truck person. I do not want to have to find my favorite foods. I expect them to be where they were last time I visited. The second and likely more important reason I took off a star is the fact they do not take credit cards. There is no reason for any business to not take credit cards now.

This place is good but extremely inconsistent. Last time I went to the store in Alhambra I had to send my hockey puck of a burger back to be cooked medium rare(the way they publicize cooking all burgers unless specified). This was maybe a year ago? Just decided to give them a second chance as the truck was parked near my house. Again my medium rare burger was grey all the way through. I sent it back and said it was super well done, and my second burger was the exact same level of burnt. You’d think for a burger truck they’d have medium rare down. Boo.

Ok, I dig food trucks. Everyone knows this. But there is one food truck that I hold dear to my heart. ONETRUCKTORULETHEMALL. Behold… Grill ‘Em All. It’s no secret that I love hard metal music. So when I heard that there was a truck that existed that combines metal with one of my favorite foods(burgers), I had to give it a go. We were up in L.A. recording music. My band The Suicide Chords(plug), finally gave in and accompanied me to search for this mythological culinary beast. Low and behold, parked right in front of VIVIDENTERTAINMENT(yes, the porn company)…it was true. Metal was blaring and porn ‘execs’ were lining up. This was gonna be special. I had the Molly Hatchett and it was one of the best damn things to hit my lips. The combination of sweet and savory was insane! My favorite burger.(#2 would have to be the Blue Cheer). We also had some truffle fries. This place is special. I really hope they branch out to San Diego area, until then… the hunt is on!

LOVETHEMUSIC! My hubby is always asking when are they going to be around, and whenever they are close by, we go. We love supporting the lunch trucks, and yeas, they are pricey, but what isn’t nowadays. The burgers are HUGE, juicy, and delicious. food is always fresh and great, service is always good too. Plus its great to hear heavy metal music blaring instead of the crap that is usually going around and is «trendy wannabe music»

All over Los Angeles(and sometimes Orange County!) Twitter: @GrillEmAll or Food Trucker App(TruxMap) Won Season 1 of The Great Food Network Food Truck Race I’m certainly not the first person to write a review on this most awesome and rocking Food Truck, but it seems their Truck Profile Page was meshed with their«Brick n Mortar» spot Page and not wanting to give the good folks at Unilocal more work to do I created this page and am uploading photos here versus the other page because I believe that even though consistency exists in the positive manner that they are still due their own page with reviews and photos. I had this«Bad Boy» bookmarked since long before they were the winners of the Great Food Truck Race Season 1, but still visited them after… with trepidation over the line. They were in Orange County one fine evening and I thought«great…now I don’t have to travel to L.A. for one of their great burgs.» Still approaching with said trepidation over the line… it was only confirmed upon my arrival. The line was super long and wrapped around in a giant U shape. I ended up waiting 4.5 hours for my burger, but after all was said and done because I had never done that before it ended up being totally worth it. I went with a Samoa Joe: which comes with Cheddar Cheese, Pineapple, BBQ Sauce, and Beer Soaked Onions cooked a perfect and well seasoned juicy medium rare. They were kind enough to cut it in half for me making it easier to consume. This culinary delight was pure burger nirvana that had my eyes rolling in the back of my head in pure ecstasy. Even though I rarely wear labels I still ended up buying one of their Trucker Hats and rock it from time to time with pure pride. The people working were all super nice and as efficient and expedient as possible considering the turnout on this evening. They had metal spewing from a «Boom Box» style radio inside to add to the ambiance of their theme.
