Went in this mornin and asked for a tall bold. The guy at the register mistook that for a tall blonde! Was this an innocuous mistake or was the bloke hung over from the revelry from the night before ;)

Not a real Starbucks like other people have mentioned. They should make it clear that they don’t take rewards. Staff is overworked but also incredibly inefficient! I understand that they’re busy because of the morning rush but when I ask for milk and the barista says«okay» and the canisters are empty, I would assume that since she’s not doing anything, that she is going to put milk in my coffee instead of ignoring me. I had to find another barista to get me milk. This shouldn’t take 15 minutes! It would take 30 seconds to put a splash of milk in my coffee.

Male Barista with glasses was a jerk, the manager refused to redo a drink that had white chunks. This place is horrible

Friendly staff(if a bit overworked), but not a real starbucks. They’re certainly happy to let you pay using your rewards app, but if you try and redeem an award they tell you they’re not a real starbucks. Perhaps the Starbucks corporation should make that more clear.

«Not a Corporate Starbucks” — They do not honor Starbucks rewards. The line is typically short but I rather walk the extra block to the Starbucks on Ballenger Ave.

I travel internationally and domestically quiet often and have a habit of liking Starbucks coffee. While visiting my sister, this was the most convenient location. Over my almost month stay, they were the most friendly staff I have ever had. Without fail every day I was greeted with a smile and polite small talk! As others have said, not really a place to hang out per say but I have never been one to join in the ‘coffee shop’ scene. You’ll always get a smile when you visit here!

It’s a Starbucks so you can get your SB fix but it does lack space for socializing and outdoor seating. Also, I was disappointed to find that they do not honor the free coffee/tea refills while in the store(i.e. green, gold star customers). The upside is that there is rarely a line.

Awesome service by every shift and every person. Friendly and fast. Very efficient during rush hour jams. Keep it up!

It’s a Starbucks store, but it’s really just a glorified indoor coffee stand. This is not a hang out, surf the net type of coffee house. There’s no seating, just a counter that runs the length of the closet like space. They aren’t able to take payment via the Starbucks app on a smartphone. No worries, though, since there’s no wait getting a hot(or iced) cup of joe on a weekend since the place is dead. During the weekday workday? I don’t know. It could be a madhouse.

My coworker and I just had the worst experience in a Starbucks, EVER! Besides the fact that the customer service is worst than McDonald’s, the fact they don’t take your iPhone app is an insult. And then they refuse to punch in your gift card number as if you are asking for their SS# is baffling!!! So after that my coworker agrees to pay for mine, and she asks for a Tall White Chocolate Mocha she’s handed a Tall Dark Coffee. After the first sip, she tells the cashier she’s got the wrong drink to what the cashier replies, yes it’s your tall dark coffee u requested. Not even a minute had passed!!! After the cashier realizes she’s wrong, she tells her she has pay for the full price of the mocha. She refused and I guess had the manager involved, but where’s the customer service here??? Another thing, if I ask for Light foam and caramel drizzle, it means no 1.5″ of foam on top and no traces of caramel on it. And if I call you on it don’t tell me that’s light foam and the caramel fell through to the bottom and give me an attitude… that foam is thick enough to support the Titanic!!! They weren’t even busy at all!!! Also, what Starbucks tells you they don’t have sugar to add to your coffee then I see a canister full on the creamers area… SMH If I’m paying over $ 4 for a gourmet coffee, I am expecting you to give it to me how I’m asking for it and a smile on top. Otherwise I could just have a free cup on our office kitchen… And the latte wasn’t tasty either!!! :( I so miss Starbucks on Eastern Market… they sure know what customer service is all about…

** 3.5 stars ** I used to come here only on weekends when I found myself out of coffee. It’s just around the block and it’s generally not busy on the weekend. I think it’s partly because it’s small(people generally don’t hang out there like a regular coffee shop) and because I think this joint usually serves people who work at the PTO, courthouse and US Attorney’s Office. Recently, I’ve been here a few times before work on the weekdays and found that the morning barista makes the BEST peppermint mochas. The PM is my fancy-schmancy go-to drink(has been for years!) and for some reason, more often than not, I get one that doesn’t taste right. I’m not sure if it’s the espresso or the milk, or if something was«overdone», but every now and then, the drink isn’t right. But I haven’t experienced that here with the weekday morning barista. Now when I want my perfect PM before work, I find myself here. My only beef is that they don’t take the mobile card here, but no biggie.

While I’m not really that big of a fan of Starbucks coffee, it is usually the most convenient place to get my iced coffee fix. On this trip, I noticed that they are now featuring cake pops. Only $ 1.50 each, so I got 2 to try. Both were terrible(birthday cake and tiramisu)…super sweet and lacking any defining flavor. Though they may look tempting, resist the urge and save your dolla bills!

Another Starbucks to keep all those patent examiners awake! This Starbucks also serves the folks staying at the Westin Hotel.
