Sketchfaces DC

I hired Sketchfaces for our booth at a community event last week and from the first email Laura was a pleasure to deal with! There was a rainy start to the day and Laura was a trooper through it all and was super friendly with all of her subjects busting out awesome caricatures amazingly fast! She sat without a single break for 5 hours! Until her replacement Mark arrived who was also very talented and super nice and was great at managing the long line of of people and cutting it off at the right time to get as many people in as he could before the event was over, he kept going as we were taking down the booth to get his last caricature done! I would definitely recommend them and look forward to working with them again for future events! Laura was so sweet and offered me to send her a photo for a caricature since they were so busy I never got to sit for one. I can’t wait to see it! If you’re thinking of a fun addition for your next event definitely hire these guys, you won’t be disappointed.

Simply amazing! Laura is a very talented artist. I’ve been lucky enough to have her draw my digital caricature twice — first in March 2012 during a promotion for the Samsung Galaxy Note and more recently in April 2015 during the Unilocal Fire & Ice Ball.
During my first experience, I was stunned by how Laura was able to draw such incredible likenesses on a small device such as the Samsung Galaxy Note. As an artist myself, I know how difficult it is to draw portraits so her work just leaves me in awe. What was even more impressive was the fact that at the Unilocal Fire & Ice Ball, Laura remembered drawing me 3 years ago. I imagine that she has seen at least 10,000 faces since we first met in March 2012, so I felt so honored that she remembered me!
Each caricature takes around 15 minutes, but the wait is definitely worth it. I highly recommend Sketchfaces DC and Laura for a memorable experience and lovely keepsake!

We just recently attended a Unilocal event at the Torpedo factory and Laura was such a trooper. I don’t know if she ever took a break, but for the two hours I was at the event — including the hour I waited in line, she kept on sketching. I don’t know how she does it without getting a cramp in her hand/​neck/​back/​shoulder.
Her caricatures were all great. If ever you need an artist to do caricatures at your party/​event, Sketchfaces DC is the business to call.

Laura is talented and fantastic! She drew caricatures for my party (both kids and adults). The caricatures were the hit of the party. She definitely listened to the guests being drawn and honed in on little nuances which became part of the caricature. Laura is extremely professional and I will definitely hire her for my next party.
