Went in for a quick supper while out shopping in the area. Salad bar was just OK. Some of the fresh ingredients didn’t look/​taste too fresh… shredded carrots in particular was extra dry, green peas, soy beans, spring mix, etc. Potato salad looked particularly old. Our server was pleasant, but slow (and we just had salad bar) – we didn’t get our water glass refilled. We had to ask for complimentary cheese biscuits. I guess RB doesn’t put too much effort on their salad bar anymore, or was it just this location?!

The only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the manager is So pleasant
The wings were undercooked
The mozzarella sticks weren’t hot
And the Thai rolls were dry as all get out
The salad bar was missing a few items when I went to prepare my plate
Had to flag someone down for that
The servers are just ok

Not a good place to eat. The server was cool but the kitchen staff is not so good. Had to send dishes back cold and the place was empty.

Every time I go to ruby Tuesday, I never get passed the salad bar. It’s well stocked with lettuce, tomatoes, greens, diced ham, carrots, etc. They have lots of different dressings, croutons and sunflower seeds, plus oil and vinegar. The thing I like the most with it are their mini cheese biscuits.

Came here with large group of 10 for lunch meeting. Not very busy. The service was good and food came out fast for our needs but not all together so people had to wait. Salad bar was fresh and well stocked.
The meals were ok as well. French fries were on the cold side. The kitchen seams to need training. If the place was busier I’m afraid that the stars would be 2. But I would come back and sample the dinner or return for the salad bar and a healthy lunch again.
It’s nice to come to a place that’s not packed

Food was good. Waiter Benjam was attentive and accomdating. there were very few people in the restaurant so i got a fair amount of attention. i ate the salad and took a few bites of my tilapia and boxed the rest… the zucchini was nice and tender…

I ordered the ribs and chicken tender platter. Not good! I know they do not try and be a rib place but these ribs were very poor quality meat and just not cooked with any kind of skill. The chicken tenders were ok.
The salad bar was decent. I like the selection of different greens and of course all the different add ons.
Service was average but it was not busy so they could have been exceptional.

We try eating at this location once a year in hopes that it will get better. It never does. Service was good, no complaints there but the food, the food is just so consistently sub-​par it almost defies logic. To their credit the entrées that come out look delicious but there just isn’t any flavor. We all had burgers, they all tasted like cardboard. Par for the course. We’ve tried steaks here before as well and they appear to be the product of some kitchen experiment gone horribly wrong. It’s obvious they been injected with «flavor enhancing solutions» that modify flavor but also texture. I did not recognize any aspect of that steak, it was full of elements that kept my taste bids busy, just not any of the ones you would want to. If your in a hurry just save the money and go to mcdonalds. If you have the time head downtown and for $ 20 more your family can have delicious food and beverage that you’ll enjoy and have no regrets about.

Don’t recommend. Service is extremely slow and there’s only about ten people in the restaurant. Salad bar plates ran out… again ten people here, so they’re not busy. Ten minutes after ordering a beer from the menu the waitress says they don’t carry it.

Don’t go here, service sucks, management sucks, and they close the kitchen earlier than advertised every night! Pretty pathetic but also pretty on par for route 1 in Alexandria so why expect anything different! Too bad!!!

Have to agree with all the others about the wait time… Ridiculously slow… Needs more staff and a décor update. Food … Not really sure… Still hasn’t arrived, took 15 minutes to get drinks…

The only good thing at this place is the Ruby Relaxer! Quiet place to have a meeting but don’t eat the food. I have lived here my whole life, I get sick every single time I eat here.

Warning, DO NOT come here if you’re in a hurry. DO NOT come here if you expect good service. DO NOT come here if you expect the salad bar to be clean. DO NOT come here if you don’t want to sit between tables that won’t be bussed for another thirty minutes.
DO come here if you want something other than what you ordered. DO come here if you want to be charged for something that you didn’t order. DO come here if you have all the time in the world to wait for everything. DO come here if you don’t actually like to have a beverage with your meal.
Bottom line, just don’t. Now, usually I love Ruby Tuesday’s for the nostalgia, but I will never be back to this one.
Oh, and where the heck were MY mediocre biscuits???

EXTREMELY SLOW service, mediocre food, and high prices… I have no idea how this place is still in business. Our server was friendly, but it took forever to get our order. Seriously, $ 10 for a hamburger? It better blow me away for that price… and it didn’t.

There doesn’t appear to be a hostess here, stood at the hostess stand for ten minutes before someone helped me.
Food was good– not great not bad.

God awful service and food. Some ruby Tuesdays are worth three stars but this one is bad. Those new biscuits are not nearly as good as red lobsters.

Nothing special here, but it is a chain. I was extremely hungry, in the shopping center, and didn’t want fast food, but did feel like having a beer with lunch, so Ruby Tuesday’s it was. Ordered a burger, and now you get your choice of 2 sides instead of just coming with a mountain of fries (I did like that option).
If you’re in a pinch, then this place is suitable. I teetered between 2 and 3 stars, wanting to give a 2.5, so just rounded accordingly ;)
