We’ve been here 2 times recently and both times were good. Service is consistently quick and efficient. Food was received in a timely manner and tasted good. I love the cheddar biscuits. I mean how can you not. They’re so good. I like how you get a choice of salad with all your entrees ordered. The restaurant is a little dimly lit but no major complaints. It’s what can be expected from a red lobster chain.

So we arrive about 5:30 on a Friday evening. The waiter said the biscuits which are really good, were not ready. But as soon as they were he would bring them out. Odd, it is a Friday night, dinner time, no biscuits ready. I ordered a fruity rum drink. Half-way through my meal, I realized I never got my drink. Said something to the waiter. He said he is not used to folks ordering drinks, huh… So he brings the drink. It had been sitting somewhere cause it was watered down. We both said lobster meals. Lobsters were fine. Nothing special. No plans to return.

Haven’t been here in a while and noticed there are not many choices for someone who doesn’t eat shellfish. I know, I know, but I brought my husband because he eats shellfish. Anyhow, the server was fine. But, I can clearly tell there was a shift change. The waiter mentioned three times the bread would be here in a minute, took a while before the bread came. When the food arrived, the pasta looked a bit dry and wasn’t as warm as expected. The waiter didn’t ask how the food was until the end of the meal. Overall, it was satisfactory, but I shouldn’t look at my pasta and see that someone else’s is fresher than mine when we clearly arrived 10 min sooner.

Food tastes good, but every single time I have come here I’ve gotten food poisoning…

I want to start off by saying Red lobster is one of my favorite restaurants. Each one I visit I never leave disappointed. My waiter was extremely nice and our food came out fast. I took my mother here when she came to visit. I specifically love this location because its almost hidden and its really nice and clean. I ordered my all time favorite the seaside shrimp trio. I’m a huge fan of the shrimp scampi. I have ate at this location twice since I have moved here and I really love it. Keep up the good work red lobster!

Ms Devonna was my server and she can’t be beat!!! Will definitely come back to see her Ordered: — lobsterita w/grand marnier [somehow this drink must be hooked-up to a tank because it took awhile for it to disappear] — lobster & artichoke dip — dueling lobsters w/2x mashed potatoes

Great for a delicious family dinner or date night. The management and staff are attentive and friendly, 100% satisfaction from customers is their goal. Like other Red Lobsters, the food is great and reasonably priced. My kids always ask for stuffed mushrooms as appetizer. Ask for the frozen margarita, you’ll love it.

Basic Red Lobster. Good staff and service when we stopped in for a late lunch. The food tasted as expected for this chain restaurant. If you like Red Lobster you’ll be happy to eat here.

Red Lobster, Red Lobster. Gotta love the Endless shrimp in September, October, and November. It’s what keeps me coming back. I think it’s pretty much the only time I come to Red Lobster during the year but it’s definitely worth it. $ 16.99 for all you can eat shrimp that comes with all the cheddar bay biscuits, two sides, and 6 different kinds of shrimp. I’ve been to this location probably 3 times now but this was probably the best visit yet. Our waitress, Pamela, made all the difference! She was fantastic. She was friendly and extremely quick with the orders. She kept our waters full and our plates full of shrimp the entire time. She’d bring fresh biscuits ahead of us asking and was just a joy to have as our server. This location is about on par with all the other locations I’ve been to so if you’re craving some shrimp this would be a good spot!

I used to go to red lobster all of the time. The service was great as well as the food. It was until two years ago that I stopped going so frequently. I had asked for salmon and when they served me my plate, the salmon was undercooked and slimy. I never ate their fish again. Every time I go now, I usually order their shrimp just to be safe. About a month ago I ordered ahead of time for pick-up and they forgot three items that I had ordered. I couldn’t drive back that night but I did make a complaint. The manager was completely amazing and told me that I could get desert the next time. I went to red lobster a few weeks ago and I met the manager and she was super nice. She made up for the mistake and I was satisfied. So it can be a hit or miss with this place but I still go once in a while!

It’s always tricky with RL; one time the food is sooo good, the other it’s mmmyeah, okay. The latter is usually when it’s busy. I love their cheese biscuits when they’re served hot and when they’re freshly baked. Their lobster chowder is also very yummy. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I always get a side of their house salad with a honey-mustard dressing and it’s always been fresh. Pizza is good, but I don’t like the crust when it’s…mushy. You can ask your server, though, to make sure it’s crusty and just. This place is usually very busy, so bear in mind that you might have to wait a while before you get a table.

First visit to this place and it turned out much better than anticipated. I had fried fish, shrimps & salad that were very delicious. Our waiter, JC, was great; he surprised me by refilling my ice tea without being asked. Red Lobster has many branches and this place is one of their better ones, so I am perplexed as to why it received such undeserving low ratings from customers.

2.5, to be precise. They were pleasant and the service was quick, but the waiter messed up multiple parts of the order and failed to bring three items. The food was mediocre(by general standards and by the chain’s standards). Bottom line: It’s Red Lobster. I love the biscuits and the friend seafood is usually decent– I’m not holding them to the highest standards. This particular location, however, wasn’t great.

Two stars marked off for cleanliness of restaurant, the availability of tables in certain sections, and the irratic ordering speed depending on when you go. And then again it really depends on who your waiter turns out to be. There are some that are really on point when it comes to understanding how appetizers come out first, and then soup and salad, and then your order, and then your desert. There are others that make up their own way on how orders come out. Most notoriously, there was one time where I got the soup and salad at least 10 minutes apart. That visit turned out to be a 2+ hour adventure towards absolute boredom. The other problem I have noticed the past several months is the idea of waiting for tables. You see, when you need to wait for tables, it usually means that the tables are full — as in there are no available tables. That isn’t the meaning here. When you are given a pager to wait, you will frequently see entire sections with empty tables. The problem is that this place is understaffed with waiters and overstaffed with busboys that stand around with usually nothing to do. Why? Because there are so many empty tables! As for the food, I usually stick with the 4 course feast. It is still the best bang for your buck and despite all the ordering issues, the dirty floor that others have complained about on here, the different waiters who can make or break a visit in terms of time, the food is still consistent for the most part. Biscuits are always great. The food is what it is. The desert of the 4 course feast seems to get better and better with each visit.

This the worst Red Lobster I have ever been to. It was Sunday evening, my boyfriend and I were both hungry, and didn’t feel like dealing with crowds of people in old town Alexandria or Shirlington, so we decided to play it safe and go somewhere where we are somewhat familiar. Great idea right?! NO I always ready reviews before I visit just to see what others are saying and see if it’s worth the risk even still(if reviews are bad). It was a bit smelly inside with old yucky looking carpet that didn’t look clean. The waitress seated us in the back that almost seemed like an added on room, and it was rather chilly and cold feeling like a dungeon. Anyway, at least our waitress was nice and biscuits were only ok(and I normally love red lobsters biscuits.) Food arrived. It was only ok. No I lied l, it was horrible and fell below my expectations. My baked lobster Alfredo pasta was soooo darn salty!!! I had to drink practically my whole glass of water behind one bite. The shrimp were gross all together as well. I’ll never visit this establishment again, at least at this location.

I’ve always had fond memories of Red Lobster, as that was the restaurant I always chose to go for my birthday when I was growing up: P Now that Red Lobster has their Endless Shrimp craziness, that’s when I make it my mission to go so I can stuff myself senseless with that AYCE option! There are 6 options to choose from, and you are not limited to one kind– you can mix and match to your heart’s content! They have the ‘new’ Sriracha Grilled Shrimp(grilled shrimp topped with a Sriracha glaze), that comes with a side of Sriracha aioli(that I actually used for fries) — had a nice spicy kick to it. There was also Parmesan Shrimp Scampi, Hand-Breaded Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, and Coconut Shrimp Bites. The Parmesan Shrimp Scampi first came out(on your first order) with a nice cheesy and breadcrumbed crust; however, after the initial round, it resorted to just melted cheese on top. I usually stick to the Garlic Shrimp Scampi, because I love the saltiness and the garlicy-ness of it. You get unlimited refills of the Cheddar Bay Biscuits(request them to be right out of the oven — makes a total difference!) as well as a choice of a side(french fries, steamed vegetables, baked potatoes, etc.) and a salad(garden or Caesar). I’ve been to this Red Lobster location before, but the recent experience was just so enjoyable! Our server was Katherine G., and she was a total sweetheart! She checked up on us regularly, and she was really quick in putting the orders and the refills in; we were never waiting around! We really got the bang for the buck as she was quick on her toes and her overall customer service was just awesome. I like how the manager on site was also helping with the service, and he was also really on top of it and made sure everything was running smoothly. The restaurant was filled and all the servers seem to be making everyone happy ;D I think one thing I wasn’t too keen on was the annoying little gnat/flies — it’s an indoor restaurant, and I think it would be nice if they set up some citronellas around. This restaurant might be an older building, but the efficiency and the great customer service made me a happy shrimper: D +ask for Katherine G. +Endless Shrimp(Garlic Shrimp Scampi)

So this is my first visit to a Red Lobster, and I have to say that I have mixed feelings about the experience. It is Lobster Fest, which is something my BF loves but something I now abhor. Actually, I have never loved big food promotions for the hoi polloi, gimmicks that bring everyone from Ma and Pa Kettle to Reginald Van Gleason out to feed at the communal trough. No, I would have to say this little excursion was doomed from the start. With so many people lined up at the door and a 45 minute wait, it was like something out of child actor’s cattle call, hungry-eyed parents waiting for their number. On the whole, the Lobster Fest was bland and unappealing, my dinning companions’ meals had to be sent back, and when they finally settle on a lobster/shrimp combo, they were saddened to find that their lobster was frozen. Hey, there is a whole tank of alive ones I thought right out in the tank out front. or at least most of them: I’m not so sure about the one«sleeping» in the corner. My pasta was in desperate need of salt, which I generously applied after the first bite. After that, my meal wasn’t quite so ugly. However, I did find some good to go along with the lobster bad and ugly. Our bartender was very nice and kind, and she did the best to make sure our meal was fine. And the cheddar biscuits were heaven! In fact, if all we had done was have those biscuit delights, I think we would be talking4 stars instead of 2 stars.
