Old Chicago Pizza

First time delivery customer. Extremely satisfied. Meatballs were real meat and cooked properly. Not too much pasta, not too much sauce.
Caesar salad, nice balance of shaved Parmesan, croutons and 2 containers of dressing. May try other menu items in the future.

I’ve only had delivery, but from that experience they deserve 5 stars. It was quick, very friendly service and the white pizza was AMAZING. So flavorful! The crust is the perfect! Probably one of the best pizzas I have had in this area

This place is disgusting… The actual restaurant is dirty as hell and the food wasn’t even average.

I’ve ordered from here many times. I ordered tonight with some friends from out of town. They mostly loved it! The wings are some of the best I’ve ever had and even tho the hot sauce is on the side is the perfect flavor! My friends husband liked the gyro a lot, altho my friend was not a fan of the blt sandwich. I got the caeser wrap which was very good! I love the Caesar dressing. I can’t wait to try other things!
Also the delivery ia mostly very quick and friendly. The food is always hot!

I ordered salad, calamari, pizza and baklava. The salad and pizza was good, the calamari was overcook and cold when it was delivered. I am not ready to throw in the towel as of yet. I will go back and dine inside before I make determination from their delivery service.

There service was great: I ordered over the phone– he was professional, the delivery guy brought it to me in a very timely manner & the prices were great.
The pizza not so great: It was evenly burned across the bottom of both pizzas, so all I could see, taste and smell was burnt dough.
I am pretty disappointed that they didn’t remake the pizzas, rather, they served it. I believe anyone would rather receive a call staying it’s going to take a little bit longer for you pizza– a quality pizza.

OK so when I order from a new restaurant. I always give it least two chances. I worked in the restaurant business so I understand places have their bad days. The first time I ordered from Old Chicago pizzeria, delivery took an hour and 45 minutes. (mind you I live 3 mins away) The delivery driver didn’t even apologize for taking so long, he was texting on his phone while I signed the receipt. All in all he was very unprofessional. But this time I ordered a Mediterranean chicken dinner and it took about 36 minutes for delivery. Now this delivery driver was very professional, courteous and polite. So I gave the place 3 stars until I order from then a again. The food was delicious though. I highly recommend going to this place versus Maggiano’s which is across the street from Old Chicago Pizzeria

Just a great pizza. What more is there to say. Only eat here if you like great pizza.

Never disappointed. My children and I order from here often for delivery. We have had just about everything on the menu. Hot food is served hot and cold food cold, salads are fresh and filling. Plenty of food to choose from and great prices. Highly recommended

LOVE THIS JOINT. Get the hot wings and pizza with lots of toppings… the bacon is awesome. Also the chicken and/​or lamb salads are LEGIT because they give you the same meat they’d throw in a gyro.
They are super friendly and are my idea of the American dream — really down to earth, hard working, and honest.
PRO TIP: dining in is kinda lame, just do takeout or delivery. I lived nearby so I only did takeout and can’t vouch for the delivery.

We were craving pizza and wanted to try a new place out.
We ordered a XL Cheese pizza and hot wings. It wasn’t too bad of a wait as we waited for our food inside their little pizza shop. They did have one flat screen tv on that did help pass the time as well. Prob waited around 20 – 25 minutes and went home (2 minute drive).
The wings wasn’t what I expected. We ordered hot wings but we got wings with a side of hot sauce. That being said, the wings were really good. Crispy and juicy! I wish the sauce was on it though.
Anyway, the pizza… was well, it was good but it tasted just like dominos. I did like their red sauce, tasted home made. But their cheese was a bit lacking.
The other reviews mentioned pizzas with toppings. Might have to give that a try next. Their prices were very reasonable though. For a XL pizza it was 9.99 and 10 piece wings was 7.99.

I love this place. I hate that it only has 3 stars overall. The place is cute, quaint, nice staff, family run and very has great pizza. The inside is pretty basic, small and maybe in need of an overhaul. But that is part of the old school charm. The staff is so friendly. The pizza is consistently fresh and full of flavor. I usually get a salad, but it does lack luster as it is a basic iceberg salad. I go for the pizza and garlic bread.

The prices and pizza are great at this place. Grabbed a pepperoni, tomato, and garlic pizza and was not disappointed. The crust was just right and still had that solid crust feel too it without being too bready. Solid amount of garlic on it actually made it worth paying for, and the people inside were super friendly.
Definitely found my go to place for quick and easy pizza here.

I like this place when things go right.
However, there have been times when I got desert and pizzas where the item tasted like refrigerator. You know, like when you put cheese in the fridge without covering it up, it takes the taste of the fridge. So I assume they don’t package things properly when they put things in the fridge at the end of the night.
Items I really enjoy are the Beef Kabob and the Italian Delight Pizza. Their rice pudding is pretty nice too… nice and thick.

I’ve been pretty curious about Old Chicago Pizzeria, located off of Huntington Ave. It’s a stand-​alone next to a small plaza. The menu offers items such as customizable/​specialty pizzas, calzones, salads, pasta dishes, cold/​hot sandwiches, wraps/​subs, Greek/​Mexican food, and dessert. I noticed that they had an online ordering option, so I put in an order for a 12″ Cheese Pizza that was customizable (had ½ to be covered with jalapenos, pepperoni, and olives) and an order of the 10-​piece Buffalo Wings (extra extra well done). When we arrived, there was an extremely sweet and lovely fellow by the name of Mr. Ameen; he was so professional and awesome, and brought out our order. The pizza itself, even though I only customized half of it, ended up having all of the toppings (I was okay with it, though). The pizza was well done, and it was a ‘pan’ version — the taste was pretty okay, and there was an abundance of the toppings, so I appreciated that; also, the tomato sauce is slightly sweet, so keep that in mind. The buffalo wings — I was happy that it wasn’t the ‘wet’ version, but it was the extremely crispier style — this came with a side of hot sauce as well as your choice of bleu or ranch dressing (I opted for the bleu). My husband and I both enjoyed it. They do not have fountain beverages, but pop in a can/​bottles in the beverage refrigerator. There are also some seating available (tables and booths), if you want to dine in. I thought it was a pretty decent place, and I’m glad I was able to finally check this place out!

This place is Jekyll and Hyde in restaurant form. I order delivery on a Saturday evening and was pleased at the expedited order process. The food was delivered promptly in the 30 minute window quoted.
Jekyll: the wings were phenomenal. Very crunchy, unsauced wings. The meat was still very moist. The hot sauce that comes on the side does not disappoint, and there is a generous helping of it. The side salads were surprisingly fresh, and the garlic bread was nice.
Hyde: I ordered 2 entrées of chicken Alfredo. It was the absolute worst I’ve ever had. The sauce was the consistency of water and tasted the same. The sauce was so runny they put the plastic tub it came in, inside of a Styrofoam box and it still leaked. Its hard to fathom how someone made that food and was like, «yeah they’ll like that».
If those wings weren’t so darn good this place would have gotten one star. Just based off of those I’d be willing to try some of their other food. But c’mon guys, take a look at the Alfredo or take it off the menu.

Three pizzas in the past three weeks… always exactly the same tasting sauce. Always the same consistency and quality of toppings. Always friendly and fast service.
This place’s name is misleading, as the pies are really New York-​style as opposed to Chicago-​style (thank God, because deep-​dish isn’t pizza). But that’s the only thing I’d even consider changing because everything else is juuuuuust right.

This place is really only a delivery option as there is no real dining ambiance in the restaurant. The pizzas are fairly thick and a solid choice to combat a hangover or when you are just too lazy to move off the couch (hello, Sunday), but for me, there are still better options out there.
The biggest issue I have with this pizza palace is that the sauce on its pizza’s just seems a bit too sweet for me. I don’t know, maybe that is the way they do it up in Chicago, but I guess when it comes to pizza, I am New York style kind of guy. .so serve mine up thin and folded, pizza fans.
