I used MTS twice in the past year(from Virginia Hospital to locations in Fairfax and Arlington) and had no problems at all. Hospital staff were used to dealing with MTS and seemed to think highly of them. $ 48 for four miles — considering that the hospital couldn’t tell them exactly when I’d be ready to go, hence waiting time, I don’t think the amount was excessive. Luxury car and friendly, polite driver.

Last year I used JNA wheelchair transport company but they have since gone out of business… Royal bummer because they did a great job and only charged $ 85 for one-way transport. I hired MTS to transport me one-way from the hospital to my Mom’s house after surgery. The guys from MTS seemed to be in a hurry which stressed me out a little bit. Okay, a lot. They got me down and loaded into the van no problem. Since there were steps into my Mom’s place, two men had to physically lift me up, step by step, in that wheelchair. Scared the bejeezus out of me but they did it. I was so doped up on pain meds so that was probably a good thing! Nice guys. I think if they would have slowed down a bit I would not have been so worried. Total cost was $ 250(because of needing an extra guy and going up steps) but in hindsight, a good method for getting home from the hospital.
