My boyfriend and I love coming here occasionally for dinner dates. I literally stuff myself on the sushi cus the quality and selection is so good. then I’m too full for anything else lol. According to my boyfriend and based on what I tried, the buffet food is pretty good too especially the soups. Will always go back for the sushi tho.

Probably one of the best buffets I’ve been to in this area, hands down. The food is always fresh, there’s always a huge selection of food and the sushi never disappoints! The servers are so incredibly sweet and on top of every table. Whatever you need, they will get it for you, quick. This is definitely the go to place for Korean style bbq buffet in northern va. Would recommend to everyone I know!

Best Korean BBQ in the entire DMV area. My boyfriend and I travel over 45 minutes to go eat there from time to time. The staff is attentive and they give you all the necessities possible. Just an overall wonderful place. OH and the sushi bar is amazing too!

If I can give 0 star, I will definitely do that. The attendant is the worst I have ever seen. Did not respect the customer at all. We decided to give 10% tips because of the worst serve, but they stopped us at the front door said u have to give more than 15% tips in America. We told them your service do not worth more than 15% tips. They said a lot and ending with«Fking Chinese!»

Me and husband went back to see if we can have a decent korean meal and it turn out to be so disappointed the food in the var is icy cold it supposed on the warming table we practically ask our server to heat everything she didnt apologize at all that the food is cold all she ask is we want our food to be put in microwave so annoyed from 5star to 1and I decided not to even come back here. the order server offended my husband we ask for another special tea and he replied this is not a refill tea you will get charge its not how much the price is how he said it.

The reviews here really gave the place a bad vibe. After running out of options we decided to just try it. Boy it was good. Its 25 dollars per person and unless you are a cheap ass you will see that the 25 dollars actually go a long way. Hot food buffet is great as well as the fresh sushi. Im not an expert on sushi but I’ve had plenty from different places and quality. Theirs is really good. To top it at all, get some fresh meat coocked infront of you. We left the place really satisfied. Service was good and i liked the atmosphere. You know a place is good when you feel like going back the very next day.

«The Il Mee 2.0″ as my friends would describe it. Out of all the options for KBBQ in Annandale, I do believe that I prefer dining here the most as opposed to other places. The main reason for that is because my favorite part of of eating Korean barbecue is getting to eat the cow or pig intestines, a.k.a „gopchang“ which most people do not like mainly due to the texture where it comes from. But food is food in my opinion, and my question is,“have you ever tried it!!!» It’s the bomb diggityyy~ They offer it here, along with other meat like kalbi, spicy pork belly, spicy chicken, bulgogi, and etc. Other places like Kogiya or Iron Age may have it, but it is a lot more expensive and the deal in places like that is that everyone at the table must order the same option. Since most people don’t like it, I usually have to go with the majority vote. I like the fact that you can control the amount you eat and can refill on rice or lettuce as much as you please. The highlights: since it is an AYCE buffet, you also have a variety of options, and there’s so much food that sometimes you might not even get your money’s worth. But hey for around $ 20 – 26, you not only get unlimited meat, they cook the meat for you, a number of other options from the hot food buffet(but I don’t really recommend it, it’s only OK), and also last but not least, the sushi section that also has sashimi, and pretty decent. It’s nothing like Todai or anything but they have all the basic rolls or nigiri available with tuna or salmon. They also have desserts, but I don’t really think it’s anything special, just a few cakes, jello, pudding, and whatnot(blechhh~). Overall this is my go to KBBQ place when I am just looking for a quick fix, due to how convenient it is to get to and the fair pricing. It’s pretty clean and neat on the inside. The quality of the food, I would give a 3⁄5 because I don’t really care for the hot food section as most of it seems«meh» or unappetizing to me. The quality of the meats vary actually on the time of day you visit. See, if you visit earlier during the day, you’re more likely to have the fresh meat as opposed to the night time. *A tip: After 10PM, they offer a $ 13 meal for KBBQ for all the leftovers and whatever is left of the hot food and sushi buffet(just in case you’re interested). One thing I did not appreciate when I came here with my friends one night was that one of the waitresses that was serving our table, after we had finished our meal and paid our bill, insisted that we did not tip her enough. Regardless of the total, we tipped her a good 15%. I gave her a little more than 20% and she seemed to be persistent on the fact that it wasn’t enough. It kind of ruined our mood, and we proceeded to leave. I do not know if there was a misunderstanding but it wasn’t a good experience to be hassled for tip. Anyway other than that, everything else here has been okay. Great for families and parties of four or more.

This place has a good sushi bar and good kbbq. Came here with a group of my friends and we all left pretty satisfied. I personally like this place but my friends say $ 25 per person for a buffet like this is a slightly pricier than what they’d like to pay.

My friend likes this place so we went here late at night when they have their«late night special.» Like most other korean buffets, if you come past 10pm the price is reduced and you just get the meats without the rest of the buffet. After this last experience, I probably won’t come back here. It wasn’t so much the service, but the meat was not fresh or tender. Rather, most of the meat was chewy and you could tell that the meat had been frozen. I had been here before but I feel like the quality of the food has just gone down. The venue, however, is big and spacious. It’s good for large groups.

My family comes here often for big birthday parties. The food is generally fresh but they almost always serve the same menu. It would be nice to see some more varieties especially for dinner buffet. The service is great though.

This was my go-to for KBBQ for the last 3 – 4 years for their weekend specials. As of Dec 272015 I will no longer be able to bring myself to go as there was a mouse walking on the floor in between the buffet island(I saw it when I went up to get a bowl of rice). I brought it to the attention of the waiter there and he apologized then and when we got our check, but no talk of bringing it to the owner’s attention or taking any measures to ensure the problem is eliminated. I am not sure what steps need be taken for the health department to investigate but hopefully this post makes its way to them. I will truly miss dining here as the value was very good.

I have been to many many Korean buffets, including the one close to here, Il Mee. and this place so far is the best out of all the ones! There are three sides to this buffet, Korean dishes, sushi, and all you can eat meat. Sushi: a little better than your normal sushi, but doesn’t have any eel or shrimp. it’s either salmon, tuna, and your average ones. but presentation is good and salmon sashimi was very good. Korean dishes: there is a pretty good selection, I enjoy the vegetarian side of it. their food is actually delicious, I highly recommend Hebeen chicken. you can also get jjigae, so that was interesting. there’s also multiple soups available. meat: quality isn’t the best. honey pig has better meat. I enjoyed the galbi but not too much with gopchang or spicy pork bellies. normal pork belly is also ok. service: very friendly, and they will Come to you to cook the meat for you. there’s also a variety of seafood, but I passed on it, it didn’t look too fresh.(I was there at around 7:30) it’s about $ 25 per person. I don’t think I will return any time soon, but I recommend it to anyone who will chow down(I’m not much of a chow down person)

When I’m thinking about Korean BBQ. I always come Heebeen. They have buffet BBQ, cooked food and sushi bar. That’s all you can eat. GOODFOOD, GOODPRICE, GOODSERVICE!

I have been to Heebeen several times and it is «OK»: the buffet generally has the same things all the time, sometimes seemingly sitting out for quite a while since the sauce has congealed. The sushi is good and plentiful with 2 itamae usually preparing plates. I prefer sashimi, but they put it out sparingly and sometimes not at all. The parking lot to get to/from can be an experience in itself. If you see several tour-type buses parked nearby, go elsewhere. The saving grace is that it’s ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT otherwise the food doesn’t justify the price.

A coworker recommended this place so we traveled over from work to check it out. Very reasonably priced for a buffet with lots of options. Only he had been there before so the rest of us were confused how it all worked. Would have liked a little explanation, but the food was delicious(especially the hot pot).

Korean bbq, sushi, and all you eat korean food? Sounds good, but I prefer Todai over this place. Every time I go here I end up eating what looks like old food, and I don’t find it worth the price. I also think this place has limited options, maybe I’m just biased and I’m a Todai fan girl?

Finally checking this place out for lunch! KBBQ buffet with a decent sushi bar. Definitely just stick to the meats and eat to your hearts content. Meats are marinated and there are plenty of other small sides to eat with it

I’m a big fan of Korean BBQ and love buffets and sushi and thought that this was the perfect combination. This was my first time there and the thought of it all sounded great. There was a meat/shabu shabu bar where you grabbed whatever and they’d make it for you on the grill at your table. The only thing I honestly liked from that was the pork-belly. The other meats were so low quality they tasted like rubber. The sushi bar was another thing I was looking forward to. The only real fish they had was salmon and all the rolls were pretty much the same. The rice was overpowering and too squishy. The rest of the buffet was ok. Just don’t try the sketchy udon soup. It wasn’t worth it honestly.

As far as all-you-can-eat Korean buffet &BBQ go, yes yes yes Heebeen was great. I love that you have several options for meat and the staff cooks for you so you can go stuff your face with all the other goodies they have. :) I wish they had more types of meat cuts, but the pork belly was exceptionally good and the bulgogi my parents enjoyed. I loved their japchae(very authentic in my opinion), the udon was very yummy, the clams are huge! I had my fill. The disappointments were that they sushi wasn’t very fresh and they ran out of some food options since they would only put out a bit at a time. I also really enjoyed their dessert, which was a mango mousse cake! Super delicious, I had one too many slices… lol sorry to other guests!

About a 2 – 2.5: My friends and I used to frequent Heebeen a few years ago, and this place used to be one of the 3 main KBBQ restaurants(others include Il Mee and Oegadjib) that were in rotation for AYCE. I don’t really care to frequent Korean BBQ places since you can do it at home at literally ¼ the cost. The meats at Heebeen tends to be more on the fatty side, and I find their selections at the buffet(other than the marinated/frozen meats) to be very limited — I’d love to see more fish, well-seasoned banchans, and maki selections. The waitstaff are fairly efficient in cooking the meat for you, but you can let them know that you’d like to be in charge of cooking them on your own. They currently have an Anniversary special for lunch and dinner, so that can be an incentive to check them out. +AYCE +behind KFC +plenty of parking in the shared lot

I came here for a work lunch and was a bit overwhelmed with the buffet, but that said, the amount of food you can crush for $ 13 is out of control. We did a meat plate with bulgogi, spicy pork and spicy chicken. The bulgogi lived up to my expectations, tender, slightly sweet and addictive. I preferred the spicy pork over the chicken due to consistency even though the ‘spice’ was the same. Again, good flavor(although I’d call it flavorful and not spicy). For random other stuff I tried: –Bacon wrapped jalapeño: Overly greasy for me and the jalapeño taste was lost –Breaded tofu: Not horrid but pretty bland and room temp –Spicy tuna roll: I think? I think i grabbed the wrong roll, regardless, the roll quality was not high(but I didn’t expect it to be for a korean buffet) –Vegtable Dumplings: I love me some dumplings so these were disappointing. Greasy and thinly filled Salad: A decent type of lettuce was used and there were some side veggies so I was a fan of this –Ginger and Cinnamon tea: Must drink. Sweet, cold, and a nice palate cleanser If you’re here for the meat only(or mostly) this is a good bet, but if you want a high quality large variety, I’d look elsewhere

I think Heebeen is decent but for the dinner price of $ 25 you should bring your appetite and eat as much AYCEKBBQ as possible. The hot food section doesn’t have many options so you can either stick with the sushi or the KBBQ. There are various rolls, nigiri, and sashimi(salmon and some other fish available the night I visited). I would say the selection of their sushi is decent but definitely not the best. The quality of the fish is average. For their KBBQ they have pork belly, spicy pork belly, bulgogi, intestines and ingredients for shabu shabu. The meat was actually better then I had expected; but I can definitely say we did not eat our $ 25 worth of KBBQ. Overall, if I am craving an AYCE this will probably be my go to place. Bottomline: If you are looking for decent sushi and KBBQ in the same place; this place will not disappoint. It is not the best quality, but you shouldn’t expect that from a buffet.

On my most recent visit… Pros: –Spacious and plenty of seating. –Friendly employees. We were greeted kindly and our server was sweet. The ladies take turns coming over to bring napkins, fill your water cups, and flip the meats. –Weekday Lunch Buffet was reasonably priced. It’s slightly cheaper than some of the other Korean buffets in the area. –They are open late. I’ve been here in the past with family and friends and it’s nice to have a late night option to go to. Cons: –Parking in this area is always a bit rough. — I wouldn’t say this is the highest quality out there. I stuck to the sushi and meats, which were average. The meats could have been better marinated and the cuts of meat were not the best. There are other dishes offered as well(noodles, soups, kimchi, fish, salads). –Dessert is limited, during lunch at least. They had oranges, cantaloupe, a creamy bread pastry, and frozen yogurt. The creamy bread pastry was really nasty. My mom and I thought is tasted funny. Like it was spoiled or some type of cleaning product used on the plate it was on seeped into the pastry. –The frozen yogurt is really not all that. They offer chocolate, vanilla, and swirl. It was watery and had a funny aftertaste. Though it’s not a restaurant I would choose, I don’t mind meeting family and friends at Heebeen when they want to.

The food was good for a buffet. I enjoyed being able to pick out the ban chan I wanted(they had the black bean type thing! but no egg soufflé type thing(unless I missed it). I also liked the spicy lettuce. Some of the other buffet items were decent — the glass noodles, the«bonchon» chicken wings, vegetable tempura… The meat to be grilled was good too. The spicy pork was especially good in my opinion. The beef was just ok, mainly because it was likely overcooked. We were in a big group and they were just understaffed in our area. Also the inner side of our table they didn’t event cook the meat at all and we did this(which probably turned out better than the staffed cooked meat). Being understaffed also meant not getting drinks at all or refilled slowly. Food: 4⁄5 Service: 2⁄5(they were nice but very understaffed)
