Dortee’s Drive In

Worst service i have ever had there the cashier wearing the Madison grant cheer shirt shorted me change and then did not give me what she shorted me and my ice cream was supposed to be resee prices and the only candy in it was on top. Well all I can say is I won’t be back the rest of this year cause this is the 3^rd time this year I have gotten bad service poor quality on my food

Dortee’s is a drive-​in (remember those?) in Middle America. It seems to embrace that and everything that goes along with it. Ice cream, burgers, fries, and picnic tables to sit on while eating. This is the type of place that you went to after little league games when you were a kid. Or the place that you could walk to and get ice cream in the evening with friends. They have several different flavors of ice cream and an assortment of sides and treats. Burgers come in single, double, and triple. I’m sure if you ask real nice they might even put four on the same sandwich. Maybe they could call it the «Big Bud Special». You can also get fish/​chicken sandwiches, and hot dogs. They have shakes, malts and waffle cones.
These places are part of a dying breed, and it’s nice to be able to buy something to eat that didn’t get shipped in on a semi, or that didn’t get passed out of a drive thru window. It seems like most other places to eat at in this area are all Mc something or have Jared pitching for them. This is a locally run bussiness supporting local people. Stop in and give it a whirl, it’s a fun small town place to eat at!
