This was my go-​to auto store when I lived in Alexandria, and they always did a good job. I’ve been here twice for car battery issues, and they were great with the free starter tests and battery replacement. Unlike the Advance in Mt. Rainier, these guys will do the battery removal for you instead of making you buy tools to remove your own battery and haul into the store.
They’re usually pretty friendly, too – can’t ask for much more!

This is my go to auto store. It’s staffed by knowledgeable women instead of overbearing men. I got my electrical system tested out at no charge, got a clean bill of health with zero upsell. Love the staff here.

Car battery was dead and AAA did not carry the specific model needed on their trucks. I called two local places before Advance Auto Parts and both would need to order the part. With Advance Auto Parts, I was able to confirm availability at my local store online, order online using a $ 40 off coupon available at
, and it was ready for me when I arrived at the store 20 minutes later. They installed it onsite at no cost and even informed me that a charge the website had applied was not needed and promptly refunded my credit card for it. The entire process, from ordering to installation, was less than 30 minutes. Total cost with taxes $ 98. I really cannot imagine how the experience could have been better. Was a little scared when I saw the other reviews on Unilocal,but I can confidently say, if you are looking for a replacement battery at a good price with free installation, this is the place to go.

The worst place ever. First of all the employees don’t know what they are doing.
–They ordered the wrong side view mirror
(How can’t you order the right one when VIN number is right infront of you and car make and model)
–They didn’t know how to re-​order the right one, even the MANAGER made me wait 30 mins and asked my credit card like 4 times.
–They called me that your car mirror is here, you can come to pick it up. And when i went there; first they couldn’t find the mirror, then they told me to come back after 1pm because the mirror is not here yet. I was like you guys called me.
–When I checked my card statement, instead of reimburse the difference, they charge me twice. I went back to inquire about this, they handed me cash instead of refunding it on my card.
(I came here because the price was low as compare to other stores; however, i have paid more in gas and 3 weeks time.)
Its just not worth to come here save yourself from alot of trouble.

So I have been in here three or four times to give them a chance but I am just unimpressed. Last time I went ion to pick up some quick detailer and microfiber towels I couldn’t even get rung up. One of the two staff was genuinely busy helping a guy with a new muffler but the other guy was just puttering around in the back while I and other customers stood in line waiting. I understand that you need to pull orders and check inventory… but cummon fellas! Help the customer waiting in line for like 15 minutes before you go off on a mission for some guy who called and isn’t there in person! Actually walked out without buying the merch…
