Ok… what the hell is going on in this place? My husband and I stopped in this store last night to get a snack around ten at night on my way home from work. We have noticed in the past that the people behind the counter are pretty slow and belligerent, usually they are playing the music so loud it’s like being in a nightclub but last night took the cake. First of all, it’s the only store I’ve ever gone to where they need a security guard standing there all night. So I guess the owner has a hard time finding people who would want to work there, but come on! Last night it took a half an hour to get out of that place. The manager was there too, and you could see that the inmates where running the asylum. One of the guys working the register was moving so slowly it was scary. He looked like he was on some kind of drugs and the two girls at checkout were just chit chatting and talking to each other while people were waiting to get the hell out of there! Seriously! One girl who was supposed to be ringing people up was sitting on the counter while the other one was just talking to her and basically ignoring the long line that was forming. I’m not kidding! My husband, who was really tired after a long and grueling day at work was really losing his patience and had it not been for the manager coming to the front and trying his best to get his employees in line. In the end the girl at checkout wound up with my husband throwing the money at her. Believe me, I have never seen him so angry, or do anything like that ever before but it was well earned. We will never go to this place again. EVER! I get that it’s not in the best neighborhood, but neither of us are willing to deal with the shenanigans that go on in that store. It needs to be cleaned up or shut down and fast. What a disgrace.

They always toast my sandwiches for me. Coffee is always filled up and the line never takes too long. Unless I’m in it. Haha I really like how everyone makes me feel at home when I’m in there. I also feel incredibly safe in there cause I always see a police officer in there. Beware if you’ve been drinking I guess. Anyway thanks again guys.

This is a really nice 7⁄11! A nice, clean inside and outside(hopefully it will stay that way even when it’s not new anymore), friendly staff members, and an excellent beer selection make this a great location to grab necessities for people in the Rosemont or northwest Old Town areas. Some non-standard items(for 7/11, anyway) seem to be on hand as well, so it’s more than just your typical convenience store. A good amount of parking is available, though if you can walk here, that would be your safest bet. Overall: 5.0 stars — — — — — - Pros: — Great beer selection! — Beautiful interior/exterior, clean. — Friendly staff. — Some interesting non-standard items as well. — Good amount of parking. Cons: — None, really. Hopefully it won’t fall apart like some 7/11s do after a year or two of being open.

This is the best 7-Eleven I’ve ever visited. The customer service is impeccable. The store is clean and there is always an effort to keep the lines moving. Phenomenal.

This is my favorite 7-Eleven in the area. It’s very new and conveniently located. The employees here are very friendly and always willing to help. It’s always really clean and organized as well. The only thing that bums me out is there’s no gas station here. It’s just a convenience store. Yeah, there’s a gas station right across the street, but it closes so early! The stock changes quite frequently. Some days I’ll go in and they’ll have cheese Munchies, and some days they won’t. But there’s no empty space there where the Munchies are supposed to be. They’ll replace it with another product. This also happened to me with turkey jerky, corn nuts, and some candies. It’s kind of weird, but I’m into the ever-changing stock. There’s a decent drink selection, even though they don’t have 40s here. Or diet Arnold Palmers. Or big cans of Coke Zero. Actually, scratch that. The food selection trumps the drink selection. I swear, whenever I go here, the Slurpee machine is in the process of freezing the flavor that I want. :(There are like five flavors here, though, so I don’t mind settling for second best. Plus they have Choco Tacos, so half the time I’ll abandon my Slurpee craving at the sight of one of those bad boys. The hot food here is surprisingly good. I’ve had the wings, loaded Doritos, and pizza so far. The pizza is definitely worth the price, as are the wings. I’d pass on the Dorito things. They keep all the hot foods warm, but they’re very willing to make you something fresh if you ask. Everything(including the pizzas) only take about five minutes in that magical superpowered microwave of theirs. Their nachos are good, too. Standard gas station nachos. There’s always parking when I go, despite the small lot. A lot of people are in and out, so they don’t take much time. What kind of makes me uncomfortable though is that there is always a security guard present and watching the store. I’ve never seen any sketchy fellows enter, despite coming here at all hours of the night. I don’t know if I’ve just been lucky and avoided the dangerous situations, or the 7-Eleven is being proactive/paranoid. Regardless, it makes me a bit uncomfortable shopping here because of that. But it’s one of the nicest 7-Elevens I’ve ever been to(and thanks to the security guard, perhaps one of the safest?).

This 7 – 11 re-opened after Yates Corner was built on the prior site. I have never been more impressed. The selection of craft beers is vast and reasonable. The specials on domestic beers beat the pants off groceries. Lastly, the service is fast and friendly. Hugs to my special Indian momma!

Definitely a fan of this new 7 – 11 that opened 4 or 5 months ago(according to an employee). I’ve been working in the area temporarily, and have stopped in every day this week. Everything is clean and new, which makes this store much more inviting than the typical 7 – 11. They have a nice variety of coffees(including vanilla and hazelnut) and packaged to-go items. I was pleasantly surprised at my salad options and have bought a Caesar salad($ 3.99) 3 times now, each time being happy that it was cheap and fresh. The package even includes a fork — awesome! I also appreciate their breakfast offerings, and have started my day with an egg white, cheese, and Canadian bacon on a whole grain English muffin which is only 180 calories. After buying coffee, breakfast, lunch and snacks, I spend about the same amount that I would buy lunch anywhere else… and that. my friends, gives this 7 – 114 stars in my book.

I say to the previous post…go back. I think that this is a fine 711, big aisles, clean, very nice selection of craft beers, and wine and really nice staff. But, here’s the reason I object to the previous post — the coffee is the BEST thing. I regularly get coffee at 711s in Alexandria(Quaker and Mt Vernon most frequently) and while all are very nice, the coffee service is a little chaotic; a little messy, but in this 711 they are stacked by flavor and all coffees are always available. And the food to go, hot dogs, pizza, chicken bites etc. is served in a very clean manner with more than I have seen at other at other stores. It’s funny, I was there yesterday and was going to write a review… there is a new manager and I wanted to compliment her, so I was very surprised to see a poor review. Please go back and reconsider. This is wonderful addition to our Alexandria community. I know that it’s funny to rave about 711, but I go to one at least five times a week.

The coffee was TERRIBLE. And I usually love 7 – 11 coffee! I don’t know what was wrong with it but both of ours tasted awful/funky. We got different flavors of coffee too. The staff was also indifferent and unfriendly. I had initially been excited when this 7 – 11 re-opened but now we both look at it and think«gross.» Eh.

It’s hard to be too critical about a 7-Eleven, considering what they are, but I’d just like to point out that this one SUCKS because the Slurpee machine is constantly un-frozen and super syrupy on every flavor. Come on, that’s like one of your most important products and you screw it up?
