Got the big pig oh boy it was good. I ate the toast and got full. That omelet lasted me 2 more meals. It was a huge omelet. I’m a bigger guy too, so I’m sure people who don’t eat much can get 3 meals out of it. It heats up in the microwave very well. The manager asked us how our food was and talked with us for 5 min. It made us feel very welcomed to be there.

Excellent place for Mexican cuisine! My wife and I came here for breakfast and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is not in the greatest part of town but we had no problem and would come back when passing through Albuquerque

The food was good. I had a BLT that had at least a full pound of lettuce a half slice of green tomato and some good bacon and green chile. It came with guacamole luckily I had that on the side or the sandwich would have been completely unmanageable, what with that pound of lettuce? Also I always thought onion rings were finger food. Not these you had to cut them with a knife. And they were somewhat painful to eat. They looked like medieval wrist cuffs. Service was barely mediocre. We asked the server what the soup was and he said he didn’t know because he’d never heard of it and couldn’t even pronounce it.(It was clam chowder) had to track him down twice for things we needed when he was standing off to the side chatting with coworkers.

I have no idea how this placed wasn’t slammed at 7am for breakfast. This might be the best French toast I’ve ever had, and the pancakes according to my Father were absolutely amazing! If I’m ever driving through here again, I will be stopping!

Good food, friendly staff. I usually order the BIGPIG with Mixed Green & Red. I often take half of it home. A 4 egg omelet with a mega amounts of meat — sausage, bacon, ham, Avavado, onions, & Mushrooms. With them serving both breakfast & lunch, we can easily change up our orders. but rarely do. When they are packed busy, we try to find another place to eat. Wait times can go up to an hour or more. We like that the manager comes by each table to check on service. And If you want to take your drink with you, they offer a 32 oz plastic cup to go, along with a meal if need be! The staff is keenly aware of business lunch *hour* during the week and do their best to get us in & out under that hour. They are always aware of the time, even when we aren’t.

Came to Weck’s for breakfast when we were visiting Albuquerque because our über driver suggested it. Soooo glad we came here! Best country fried steak I’ve ever had. So delicious. They have flavored coffee too! Their chilies are so good! Definitely will be coming back when we come back!

Cool diner! I had breakfast there a few days ago, I was their first customer that day, the place looked good, the food was good, the staff very friendly, I would go back. Not being familiar with the Albuquerque area this seems to be some kind of chain because I saw other Weck’s locations afterwards, in any case this review is for this specific location.

Clean place, roomy, seated promptly at 8:30 am. We Had breakfast from the last page of the menu. $ 7.59 breakfast that includes coffee in the price. Ordered a 3 egg omelet and 2 eggs/bacon/English muffin, traded the hash browns for tomato slices. Coffee was good and the food was hot. The customer behind us ordered the pancakes and ate less than a quarter. Said they had no flavor … He did not want a replacement and he paid his bill and left. He looked like a food critic. We were traveling thru NM, headed for the west coast. Place was Recommend by the mechanics working on our rig. We travel a lot and found this to be average food with a little southwest flavor. Nothing special and nothing to brag about, will not return if coming to ABQ. Will try other places recommend on Unilocal.Beware of the«extra cost» on the Cinnamon Roll the waiter offers to start you off with while you wait for breakfast.

Hadn’t been to Wecks in a long time. The food is as good as always. Had rather interesting experience the guy who seated me keep asking if I knew of a party he could be invited too. Took me a back that would happen when I go somewhere to eat

Doesn’t get better than this… if what you are looking for is a great breakfast with a New Mexico twist in huge portions, this is the place… others have complained about the hash browns not being crisp so I just ordered them crisp and they were perfect. .if you are one of those dainty eaters, you’ll have to share a plate with two or three other people. .my hubby had the Pig and he was one and ate the whole thing. .and how about this, they brought us sturdy plastic travel cups for our water! Attentive staff and clean and a fair price. .win win win and great food. .WIN!

Had a party of 14 and took a little time to get us seated which is understandable. Food well worth the wait. Price is good for amount of food if you get the plate. The bowls are maybe a little over priced. Over all good food and service was a little over average.

I simply love this place. It is my must stop when in albuquerque. Great local food prepared right and served by the friendliest folks ever. Beware though. portions are way way way too big.

Could not tell us if my son could eat his sandwich because they had no idea of the ingredients in their bread and he has an allergy. Otherwise food was pretty good.

Another fantastic breakfast. This is our regular Albuquerque stop. They added Papas to the menu and I loved it! The green chile was fabulous. Still the best traditional breakfast in the area as well. The service is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and eat here!!!

My husband found this place! We were greeted and got a booth, asap! The hostess has a since of humor… She asked us were we were from, and she wanted to come back home with us! lol Ya’ll get your mind out of the gutter! She wanted to come to Las Vegas NV! So I just kept it basic! Pancakes, eggs and bacon! Whoa! These pancakes were freaking huge! I’m serious, you can share these with 2 other people! They were good. I should have tried something different though, I just really didn’t feel like looking at the menu.
