In good conscience, I can’t give this mega-super company a 5 star review because I know all about there plans for world domination and economic destruction. But, I would say that they had a killer Black Friday deal and I had to get it. The other Walmart was sold out of the super cheap tvs that they had right away but this one… This one was saving them for me. I waltzed in there and bought that tv like it was no big deal. And now, now I just stare at my screen, ready to zone out and become a sheep like the masses. Tune in and tune out man. Not but on the real, it was a good tv and it can be used as a monitor as well.

Everyone has been to a Walmart, so there isn’t a ton of new info I can put here. This one is big. Huge, in fact. Filled with consumer products of ll shapes and sizes for your consuming needs. My bias is showing — I hate huge stores like this because they choke out small local businesses and generally provide nothing but Chinese-made crap. However, sometimes I need such things and I am forced to come to one of these stores. Alright, enough commentary. Everything is here and prices are pretty good. Staff seem generally nice. Not much else to say.

I ran up here today to grab a few things for my new apartment. The store is pretty standard for a Walmart super center and of course it is gigantic. This one is newer and as such looks a lot cleaner than other Walmart stores around town. The prices are hard to beat and their price match feature gives you an e-gift card if you find it cheaper elsewhere. Just be ready for crowds and noise!

Just an average Wal-Mart. I like their food selection that is a little more natural without as many food dyes or preservatives, but I hate that there are never nought checkout lanes open and the lines that are open are staffed by people who don’t seem to care that there are others waiting.

It is an average Wal-Mart with a convenient location. What we do not like is the poor quality produce in the unclean produce section. However, the biggest problems with this store are clerks who are slow moving to the point of imbecility and a lack of open cash register stations. A HUGE problem is the number of panhandlers in the parking lot as well as lots of drug abusers walking about trying to start trouble. Deli personnel seem to resent being bothered with customers.

This is mostly an every man for himself experience. An elder lady and I were trapped while we compared Quilted Northern prices. There were carts coming at us on both sides, Yikes! Upon entering an elder woman just stood at the point were carts are available. I usually don’t take a cart, but I needed one this time. A kind man helped me pull a cart out as they were stuck together. I went back in to get a forgotten stapler and asked the lady stocking if any back to school items tricked her fancy and she proceeded to tell me that there are school items on the next several rows? Oh well perhaps they do deserve that raise to get a basic education:). In some crazy way I kinda like the Walmart on Carlise better. Hmmm?

Not the worst Wal-Mart in town. In that most people shopping here aren’t insanely stupid. And the employees seem to care a little bit more about their work and the condition of their store. It’s almost like a Target. *Update: One time I saw two hookers fighting over whose territory the front door was.

I totally disagree with the wages wal Mart employees receive. Slave labor. That said walmart isn’t so special their produce is old. The hot food sitting in the deli is wilted and old. The store is dirty and is in shambles, clearance items not priced, none of the employees want to b of assistance and i don’t blame them they are practically just working for baby sitter or gas money. Even assistant manager qualify for food stamps! Outrageous! There prices are not low enough to make your trip to Wal-Mart with your time. Try Smith’s or Costco.

By far the worst Walmart I’ve ever experienced… which is pretty bad since I thought I dealt with some doosies before… Honestly, I usually stick to my Walmart over by Cottonwood, but I happened to be running a slew of errands in the NE and figured I’d just save myself some time by getting my shopping done at this particular location. At first when I pulled into the parking lot, the store itself looked great. When I got into the store… I was impressed with how large it was considering it seems larger than my usual store. Then. it became very apparent that this store is a hot. hot mess. The layout is ridiculous and doesn’t flow at all. The aisles are very, very narrow and doesn’t allow easy access if there’s more than a few people using shopping carts. The locations of food is all over the place and doesn’t make any sense. Why would you have the packaged deli meat on the opposite side of the store and not near the packaged deli cheese? Bagels on one side of the store but the rest of the bread items are in a completely different section? Yogurt not located near the rest of the dairy? I actually had to ask, well. attempt to ask one of the employees for some sort of direction as to where I could find some of the things on my list. The response? SHEDIDN’T EVENKNOWWHERETHINGSWERELOCATED! She couldn’t even give me a ballpark direction to wander! Seriously? The majority of the cleaning section was an absolute mess & barely stocked as if they haven’t filled any product re-orders in quite a while. The pharmacy area for OTC items made no sense, completely disorganized and tons of products were opened and just tossed back into random places. What’s up product control, especially with items that are obviously being stolen since they’re ingredients to make meth?! When I finally get to the check out area, the cashier was much more interested in texting on her cell phone than doing her job. She’d scan a few of my items, her phone would chime… stop in the middle of scanning to read her new message, text back and then proceed. This happened ten times! Come on! I just wanna get the hell out of there and she was the last, pain staking hurdle to get me out the door. As someone who has a lot of experience with management, dealing with overhauling and addressing hot mess stores and making things more convenient to customers. whoever the manager is at this particular location REALLY needs a wake up call and address their employees in addition to actually doing their job by MANAGING the store. I will NEVER return to this Walmart due to the sheer frustration I experienced.

As far as Wal-Marts go, this is just another one. They’re all pretty much the same, and this one is no different than one in Roswell, or Las Cruces, or Ruidoso. For what it’s worth, there’s low prices here, on just about any and everything.

I would feel comfortable declaring this Walmart the king of cleanliness as compared to other Walmarts in the ABQ market. I think the neighborhood having such a huge influence on this big box store coming in made the store build to certain specifics. I think this store has nice wide isles, it has a different off the road kind of entrance and its exterior in my opinion is a bit different as well. I find that if and when I need to go hit up a Walmart for those necessities and other what nots I enjoy this Walmart far better than all the rest.
