Not what I expected. Michelle was nowhere to be found, they didn’t sell Catwoman outfits and I couldn’t find any Witches of Eastwick, Scarface or Grease 2 memorabilia. C’mon, there’s gotta be plenty of Grease 2 memorabilia lying around. You couldn’t give that stuff away. Instead we have a boutique that strongly competes for First Place in this highly competitive, locally-owned strip mall. This is an absolutely divine shop to find a gift for your lover, each and every item that hangs on the wall or shines on a table is clearly hand chosen and, from what I could ascertain, impossible to find elsewhere in the city. World-sourced fabrics, jewelry, sweets, coffee and eats, alongside plenty of locally derived stuff; while I shopped I was offered a taste of some absolutely delirious plum dark chocolate, ungh. Prices were on the hefty end but affordable, certainly not in the Married To The Mob range; the clearance table by the front door had some steals. My favorite products: accessories and bags made from«reclaimed» bicycle tubes. It’s a small place, but there’s a changing room for those that want to try on the clothing, which is intriguing(but alas no period pieces from Dangerous Liaisons). Most of the gifts were geared toward women, yet I found a few things I’d love to have as well. Overall, the next time you shop this mall wander south of Bookworks and see What Lies Beneath, er, next door.

This boutique has an unusual mix of home and fashion items. The sales staff are delightful too. I will certainly make this a must stop on my way through Albuquerque.

This store is full of fun finds from across the globe and the staff could not be nicer! I can always count on them having a great selection of jewelry at reasonable prices

I am from Kansas City, and I am the first reviewer? I was at Bookworks, but the shops around there caught my attention. This is one of them. I bought a copper cuff ring here for $ 10. I found tons of items I wanted. They are a boutique, featuring Mexico type items. They have a small selection, and I liked it. They have skirts, blouses, purses, bags, jewelry. It’s affordable, and cute. There is a place to try things on. On the walls are colorful curtains, and it’s contrasting to the wooden floor. It’s bright, and looks polished inside. There are round tables where jewelry sits, and scarves and other items that caught my eye. I fell in love with a blouse, so I am going back… but, you all know me, if you see my reviews… I love boutiques, and this one is unique cause it’s Mexico related. It’s fun and worth checking out. Pretty cool selection, and affordable.
