Head Over Heels for You

Robyn has a great way of working my wavy/​curly hair. She has done color and cuts. She also has done great mens cuts for my sons. Love it!

The shop atmosphere is fun and full of positive messages but the person who cut my hair is not a very nice or considerate person and doesn’t seem to really care about her clients desires or the outcome of her services. I think she may be the owner. She seemed more interested in talking and gossiping with her coworkers and texting while she worked. It’s a shame. I had high hopes this would be a great experience, but I was very disappointed with the cut and the customer service. Felt the price was on the high side for the mediocre cut I received. Won’t be returning. They need to work on making the customer feel welcome and important, not just something to occupy themselves with while they chat with one another.

I walked in to see if I could get a trim and color. You would have thought I was a long time customer instead of an out of towner. Everyone was so friendly and pleasant, I was immediately made to feel welcome. The shop is clean and cheerful.
Tracy gave me one of the best cuts I have ever had. Then she went on to highlight. She was able to make it look so natural I felt like I was born that way. She is the best!

While visiting Abq I needed a manicure/​pedicure. Used Unilocal,reviewed the local salons and chose Head over Heels. Yolanda did a great job with both! She took her time and the service for the price paid was super. I highly recommend this salon and Yolanda!

I have been going to hairdresser Keith Cisco for many years so of course I followed him when he moved to Head Over Heels. He does a great job making my long curly hair look good. He listens to what I want, knows how to cut my difficult hair and recommends great products to keep it under control. Keith is a talented artist who I would recommend to anyone.

Hair: My hairdresser of 5 years, Keith Cisco, moved to this salon in 2010. He is an awesome hairdresser! He now has his own private room at Head Over Heels, which is great for private chit-​chat during your appointment. Keith does an excellent job of cutting, coloring, and styling hair. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
Pedicure: Get your pedicure here! You will not be disappointed! I recently got an amazing pedicure here. The whole experience was incredible… better than other pedicures I’ve had in Albuquerque and cheaper than other non-​nail salons. The massage chair I sat in was brand new and gave me an all-​over massage during my appointment. My pedicure consisted of a long foot and leg massage up to my knees, a masking treatment, and warm towels. My nails were trimmed perfectly and painted to perfection! They have a large assortment of nail polishes in modern colors, most of which are by OPI. You will leave feeling relaxed and beautiful!
