It happened a week ago from today. I went to the Corrales store because I saw they had a 60gb backward compatible PS3 for sale. So I went down there last Thursday(18th of February) and purchased it right away. I was so excited to play my old PS2 games again! Unfortunately when I hooked it up I found that it wouldn’t stay on. It kept randomly shutting off. So I returned the next day to return it and explain the problem. Michael apologized for the inconvenience of the system not working and for me having to drive 45 minutes across town to return it. He assured me that it would be fixed by the guy who repairs their consoles since he would be there all day on Saturday. So Saturday after noon I received a call from Chris who was the guy working on my PS3. He called to let me know he had been working on it since he started his shift and that it would be ready about 6pm. So I head over to the west side again to pick it up. I get there and before he hands it over he tests it to make sure it works. The disk drive doesn’t work. It won’t read any discs. So he takes it apart to have a look. I stay in the store an hour while he works on it but it seems like the disc drive is broken. He says he might have to order another one if he can’t fix it. Then I have to leave to go take care of my grandpa. Chris has been working on this PS3, my PS3, all day. Since his shift started. So I know it’s in good hands. Later that night, after the store closes, Chris calls me to let me know he got it working! Success! The PS3 has been fixed and he explained about the trouble he had fixing it and also apologized that it took so long to fix. He also fixed some of the common problems the 60gb models have such as the cheap quality thermal paste Sony used and the issues with overheating and even the problematic power supply unit. He basically made it better than it originally was! I thanked him many times for working on my PS3 for so long until it was fixed completely. So on Sunday morning I went to pick it up. And to my surprise, the game that I left in my PS3 when I tried to play it had been taken out and resurfaced! Free of charge! And no charge at all for the lengthy repairs Chris had done. Never in my life has a store even gone this far out of their way to help me! I was so moved by their dedication to customer service that I plan on spending more money at their store because of how well they treated me! Thank you everyone at Super Gamers Anonymous! You are truly the best store in all the state!

I’ve been going to this store for years and despite how disappointed I am with this city, stores like this are what make me reconsider moving away. The staff is helpful, well informed and straightforward. If they don’t have something in stock, they can set you up to get a text message notification when that item is back in stock. If they don’t carry a certain item, they will more than likely order it for you. I tend to make more money selling used stuff online but have sold plenty of games to this store because in the same way I have found great games there, I wanted to help others find great games and support the store in the process. Their locations are pretty far from where I live, but it’s worth the trip. They hold gaming and community events regularly. If you haven’t visited Gamers Anonymous yet, you’re missing out!

Great service every time. Recently stopped in to buy a PS1 controller, and unfortunately it wasn’t working quite right. However we returned the next day and they replaced it quickly and easily, no hassle at all. Friendly staff always willing to help, and very knowledgeable. Great store!

These guys are seriously the coolest! They have retro and modern games along with hard to find items. They also have a ton of awesome arcade cabinets that you can check out and they also do regular events with their community. One last thing, they host cats to be adopted which is supremely awesome! If you love video games you need to go to Gamers Anonymous!

Hosted by an extremely professional staff. Not only are they very knowledgable, they are very active in the local community. Not only that, these guys have everything! I went I for an RF adapter for an Atari 2600. Not only did they have the cable I needed, but they gave me great advice on how to install it. If you live video games and want to support local business, you would do well to give these guys a visit.

They are the best for old school or retro games and the owner is the best. They are fair with trade ins and price.
