Who doesn’t love the CB? The service at this location is very attentive and the food is fresh.

If I was going to rate the service from my visit it would be a 5 star FORSURE. The food was a little less though, so I had to bring the rating down. But let me just tell you, we had the most prompt on-top-of things waitress I may have actually ever HAD! Which is saying a lot since I have eaten out quite a bit in these whoppin 27 years. I can’t remember her name and I swear it’s going to bug me, because when I left I made a point to look at her name tag. Agh, the memory! Nooo!!! Anyways, if you’re reading this Ms. Thang, you know who you are, and you certainly made our experience! She was on top of refills before we ever had a chance to ask, she brought extra napkins without me needing to ask, probably because she saw me getting crazy with my gravy, and what a wonderful server to predict that a few napkins just wouldn’t cut it. She had all of our checks split and ready for us ahead of time because she knew we were on a rushed lunch. She was pleasant, prompt with any requests we had, and just all around extremely attentive and predictive of our needs. Oh, and she even brought us To-Go drinks, and in a jiffy! She was the bees knees. Now as for the food: it was good. I was a little disappointed with my chicken and dumplings. It seemed a little thicker than usual, more chewy maybe? Something seemed slightly off with the dumplings themselves. It was good, but it wasn’t exactly what I had remembered, which may have just been my Ohio roots and critique of dumplings coming through. The hashbrown casserole was delicious as always, the mac and cheese was stellar, the white country gravy was oh so sinful, and the biscuits and corn bread were just as expected. I dug it. I wasn’t THRILLED by it, but I enjoyed it. I think in the future I will try their crispy chicken salad because I remember loving that. All in all you get four stars from me, Cracker Barrel. See you next time(which will probably be on a weekend or an evening, because trying to squeeze in CB on your lunch break is a bit of stretch… and a little less stressful than the kind of country home relaxing experience you’d want here) But hey, we made it work!

We came in the middle of the breakfast rush and only waited 10 minutes for a table. Wendy, our server was fast and friendly. She always had my coffee full but didn’t hover. The food came quickly and the portions are enormous. We left happy and full. We will be back and if you go, ask for Wendy. You won’t be disappointed.

Cracker Barrel is a great place for breakfast! The selection is huge and the quality and amount of food you get are hard to beat! The staff is great and friendly and restaurants are clean. You will have to wait some on certain days to be seated, but that is because they are so popular! A great bargain and great food and atmosphere!

I’ve been here before and had breakfast, it was ok. I got a gift card for Christmas so decided to get dinner. I had the Grilled Pork Chops(the Featured Monday Daily Dinner). I got mashed potatoes and fried apples, cause pork chops need apple sauce and that was the closest thing on the menu. I was surprised at how good the meal was. You get two pork chips, two sides, and biscuits or corn muffins for $ 9.79. I’m thinking of going back again on a Monday for the same thing. I’d give 5 stars if they served it with apple sauce, that’s just how pork chops should be served. The fried apples were a good substitute.

My experience here this evening was very pleasant. Nicole R. was my server and she was very sweet and very professional. The food was wonderful. I ordered the«Good Morning Breakfast». It was delicious. It was a lot of really good, healthy food. The seasonal fruit was pineapple, blueberries, and blackberries. The fruit tasted like it had just been delivered by a local farmer. My meal also included tomato slices that tasted farm fresh. The display of my food looked exactly like the photo in the menu.

Don’t. Just don’t. Not on a weekend. I tolerate it for the kid. Not good. Horrific service and won’t take reservations.

Eh, maybe working here a few years ago has tainted my perception but the quality is just mild. My wife’s Homestyle Chicken(a Sunday staple) was dry, my Country Fried Steak was tough, the carrots were dry. All in all, I’ll probably go back in a few months after I get a craving for Fried Apples.

Came in today knowing it would be packed because of Balloon Fiesta, and, well, it’s Sunday morning at Cracker Barrel, of course it will be packed. K and i went in our pajamas cuz we just didn’t feel like getting ready. That doesn’t always bode well for us as it sometimes leads to crappy service. We walked in to a full restaurant w a wait. The hostess told us that the two of us could be seated immediately if we didn’t mind sitting at an end table. We are here for the food lady, not table location! So we sat and were quickly greeted by our server Maria who took our drink orders. She was back in a jiffy with them and took our order. We expected to wait quite a while. And we did. But no big deal. Our server was frequently at our table refilling drinks and assuring us our food was being made. We played games, people watched and then came our food. If I’m gonna wait a while for food, it had better cone out correctly, and at proper temperature. And everything here today was perfect. The staff were all helpful and we were checked on by numerous workers. In my previous review I said I wouldn’t give 5 stars because they don’t serve chile, but I am changing that. The teamwork and fluidity of service, plus Maria have bumped it up to 5. We were very happy we decided to brave the crowd this morning.

Very good, always. Being from California and not having a CB, it’s always good to check in and treat ourselves. Busy during the Balloon Fiesta, but they handle a crowd well. Country boy breakfast with the pork chops was great and all the fixin’s that go with it done just right. Wife had the French toast special and ate the whole thing. The coffee was very weak. I thought it was one batch but the second was just as weak

Enjoyed breakfast menu, specifically pancakes with maple syrup. Lunch and dinner menu is better than most American style restaurants.

First time here and it definitely left a lasting impression. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the hostess who promptly sat our party of 6. Our waitress Jessea, was polite and courteous in taking our orders for beverages. She smiled a lot and was even friendly to our little ones(6&8). After the beverages came out another waitress brought out some biscuits with jam and honey. Once we placed our orders, it didn’t take too long before the food came out. Though the order was mixed and my daughter received bacon instead of the sausage she ordered, Jessea was prompt in correcting it by bringing out sausage and allowing us to keep the bacon. The food was delicious! I ordered the country scramble with a pink lemonade, everyone else in my party ordered pancakes(pecan, blueberry and buttermilk). After eating she promptly brought us our receipt which surprised me and was NOT expensive! We paid about $ 67 for our table and it was worth every last penny. Will definitely be visiting this place again. Only hope Jessea is our waitress. She was by far one of the best waitresses we’ve had in any restaurant in a loooong time!

Good down-home comfort food, what more could you ask for. So far I have never had a bad meal here once. Everything is always flavorful. Love the sweet tea. Took home the Thanksgiving meal and ate for days off it. Love this place to pieces but only negative is the wait can sometimes be too much.

This is the food gramma use to make… Now that gramma isn’t around when I want some home cooking I go to cracker barrel. I love the meatloaf and the roast beef, I wish I was a bigger guy so I could order both. The sweet carrots are delicious and the portions are big enough I can never finish everything on my plate. I’ve never been disappointed with the food here, sometimes you get a new waiter but I’ve still never had a bad experience.

We went in one evening after working very hard and we were very hungry. Ordered a sirloin steak and got mashed potatoes, green beans and a yam. It was wonderful! Have never had a bad meal here. Their green beans were like Grandma’s! Their pot roast hits the spot when you are craving good home cooking and you are either too tired, or too lazy to cook. The wait staff is very attentive in our experience. You can also watch the balloons go up if you are coming here for breakfast during balloon fiesta time! There is plenty of space in their parking lot for your RV and the coffee is superb, unlimited cups. They serve you REAL butter too with your cornbread. They don’t give you any of that non-butter stuff. When I get take out, they always do it right, every time.

Who doesn’t love comfort food, well I can’t imagine a world without southern comfort food. I’ve always been a fan of Cracker Barrel since childhood. These places are always near major roads and draw the crowds, so its good to go down during the off peak times if you don’t want to wait. We typically only go on the weekend, so our preferred times are 9−10am or 1−3pm. While the food is typically good(9 out of 10 times) and the service is good(8 out of 10 times), there are always times when neither lives up to past experiences. Also keep this in mind when there are long waits and big crowds, I have noticed that the service and food tends to suffer more at those times.

This review is mainly regarding server’s attitude, while I realize it may be challenging to take orders from a bunch of teen agers, they should still be treated like any other customer. Our group is a respectful one and this server was obviously very annoyed that she got this group(maybe she was having a bad night) she proceeded to argue with one of the boys who didn’t get his hot chocolate and then argued with him about it when it showed up on his ticket, mind you he never got his hot chocolate and felt like he was being forced to take it in a to go cup. They spent close to 100.00, but they will go elsewhere after their basketball games in search of better service.

I went in knowing this place would be busy and was prepared to wait. But they surpassed my expectations and seated us sooner than anticipated. There was no lapse time from when we got seated and our drink order was taken. There was no wait time from when our drinks were delivered to our order being taken. Very attentive service. Food was very good. Overall really really good experience. Thanks for redeeming yourself Cracker Barrel.

Excellent food … could have used some help in the waitress area kind of slow and forgetful. The kids really enjoyed it

Love this place! It’s as American as it gets. The most amazing food, super friendly service, & feels like home. They really care about their employees & take care of them… That’s a huge plus for me.

Oh you know Cracker Barrel, its the place that makes you go through an «old time country store» with current and older candy, toys, nick nacks and patty wacks. This place was not chosen by me to come, but I admire the person who did choose it and so we waited the 30 minutes to get a table, we shopped for stuff we didn’t need(really packed in the store during breakfast on the weekends) This place certainly has bang for your buck but it seems like they miss the small things because of the breakfast rush… no utensils(asked twice). Overall the comfort food was great and the experience is something I’d do twice a year.
