This is the WORST Blake’s location by far. I’ve given this place several chances in the last few months and what I was hoping was an exception seems to be the rule… which is no bueno. Incident 1: Went through the drive through and was literally the only car. My order was simple, nothing fancy. I was waiting… then more cars came through the drive through and they waited. Then they got their stuff and left. I was still waiting. Finally, after 20 minutes, someone comes with my order which wasn’t mine but yet another person’s after me. Waiting another 15 minutes and finally went inside to ask what was going on considering I’d seen 5 cars order and leave after me. Finally got my order… and it was bitter. Ugh Incident 2: a simple burrito run turned into an ordeal. Called ahead even and had to wait in the drive through for about 20 minutes with one other car in line. Blake’s seems to put their C-Team at this location. Save time, go to another one even if it’s farther away. 2 stars only because in general, Blake’s is awesome.

This is probably the worst Blakes location. Every visit, I have to wait for an unreasonable amount of time for my food. I would say three out of five times, they mess up on the order. I do love Blakes burritos on occasion, but I will intentionally drive to a further location and avoid the headaches and frustrations I usually get at this one.

FORMEREMPLOYEE: I’m not bashing just telling my expirences working for this company. Take it from me I used to WORK at this atrocity of a job. The management was sketchy. The company really doesn’t care about you’re well being what so ever. I worked here about a week after I graduated highschool and stayed for three months. DON’T GET A JOBHERE. I REPEATDO. NOT. WORK. HERE. The head manager(I think her name was alison) was VERY harsh and constantly threatens to write her staff up. I was so nervous to go into work one day that I literally CRIED. Nobody, not even employees in the fast food chain should have to deal with something like that. They also didn’t teach me much of anything, when I first went in the management there told me they would show me how to do EVERYTHING. They just ended up throwing me on the fryer cooker(fries, chicken strips ex.) Even though I was horrible at it. I did prep for a while and got several compliments but then just ended up back on the fryer. Not to mention the management suspiciously changed and disappeared after a month of working there. And was switched with another(more strict managment) the other ones just disapeared. The staff there(except a few decent people) don’t make you feel welcome. I felt more like I was in the way than I was helping my team give good service. I’m a hard worker. All the managment at every other job I’d ever had since 15 appriciated me. But here its clear that you pay you’re way to the top. The only thing I can say to highschool students /college students is this. Don’t work here you will be miserable. That is all.

I have given this place SEVERAL chances– today did me in– 1 person eating in– 3 cars ahead of me in drive through– was told«one second» and I waited 10 min with no one coming back to take my order. I left drive-through and went in. Waited 20 min for a kids meal. Not impressed. Guess they had to kill the chicken and prep it.

Lotaburger is always good and they are good at making it the same. They are quick and friendly.

Don’t stone me for this one. I’m not New Mexican, so I don’t flip out when I find out some place has green chile – although I do pile it on myself. Personally, I like Sonic Burger better. In CA, I think In-N-Out is better than all of them – especially their fries and shakes. There are so many options for the type of spicy, greasy burger you might prefer in Albuquerque. I ain’t saying it’s bad. I’m saying you got to try it along with all the others the city has to offer.

I order a breakfast burrito and an Arnold Palmer(ice tea and lemonade). He screwed up the drink and only gave me lemonade then tried to fix it but only gave me ice tea. My breakfast burrito was nothing like the ones I normal get from there the tortilla seemed like it had been grilled like a quesadilla and was rolled horrible. It taste now where close to has good as they do at there other locations. Better of going to a different location

Worst service ever! They are idiots at this location. If I were the owner I would fire everyone that worked here and hire people who care!

had their green chile cheeseburgers at their stall at the abq balloon fiesta and they nearly lived up to the hype. the burgers are really good. I just wished there was more green chile and they took the heat from the chile up a few notches.

Blake’s is usually one of my favorite fast food places for burgers and breakfast burritos. Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience the last 2 times I went to this Blake’s on Osuna and Eubank. Last time I got a burger that was still mooing. I’ve never had such a raw burger served to me in my life. This visit, I decided to get a breakfast burrito at 7 in the morning. I guess you have to get there really early, because they informed me that they had run out of hash browns already. They put French fries in the breakfast burrito instead. Let’s just say I think I’ll drive a little further and go to a different Blake’s if I’m craving their food.

Tasty food: 4STARS, service is hit-or-miss: 1STAR… Today I called in an order. I arrived 10 minutes after the order was placed and sat in the drive-thru for 10 more minutes before I was acknowledged. The drive-thru worker didn’t say hello, smile, or even look my way. I felt like I was bothering her. The early morning crew is awesome and kind. Maybe the day crew should take some pointers from them…

Good green chilli cheeseburger and great seasoned fries. Onion rings are good. Breakfast burritos are big and tasty! Get a lot of burrito for your money

I like the breakfast burritos at Blake’s with one caveat, that you have to ask for the hash browns to be extra crispy otherwise you often get raw potato. When you ask for them extra crispy they arrive cooked, not extra crispy, but it sure does beat raw. We get the number 4 breakfast burrito(no meat — just potato, eggs, cheese) with red chile. The size of the burrito’s are huge and you should be full after eating one.

I had the opportunity to try this out when visiting my parents. My brother always talks about how good this place is and I must admit, it was good. The Green Chile makes everything better, one can never go wrong with that. The burgers are big in size, I’m use to the In N Out cheeseburger.

The Old Man constantly talked about this place and how stinkin’ good the green chili cheez burgers were. He forgot to tell me that the Lota in the name actually means there’s a whole lotta meat in that burger. Not knowing this I foolishly ordered a double meat, double cheez w/green chili. Holy effing ground cow!!! It’s was super good and it was nice having a non conveyer made McBurger. Next time(if there is a next time, cause that much beef made my spleen hurt a lil bit and I probably won’t poop for a week) I’ll make sure they keep their mustard and pickles. I mean seriously, who need pickles on something that has green chili on it already. I mean, that’s just wrong.

This place makes an AMAZING burger, just like I said in my original review… but the owners that took over a few years ago recently gave $ 10,000.00 to Yes On Prop 8! Therefore, this place deserves none of my business ever again. However, if you enjoy your burger with a side of hate and bigotry, then check it out!

Blakes has been around for years, a new mexico institution. Green chile cheeseburgers that are out of this world. Fresh ingredients and a personable staff. Inexpensive and well worth the visit. Best cherry vanilla dr. peppers around!
