Just had a great pedicure with Ken. Meticulous, gentle, nice foot and calf massage, great selection of colors too! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. And my feet are pretty. Thank you!

The fact that they only have about 7 nail polish colors to choose from should have been an indicator to go elsewhere for a mani/pedi. But seriously, the most neutral color I found was gold, with the rest of the polish colors being crazy glitter and CRACKLE shades. Yes, crackle. Anyway, the actual service was odd, to say the least. The woman who did my nails was very nice, but had little idea how to actually do nails. At one point during my pedicure, she actually ripped out part of my nail — she didn’t even look to see if I was in pain, she just proceeded to carry-on with the pedicure. The manicure was also pretty bad. In fact, after the tech«cleaned up my nails»(i.e. almost clipping my skin with each use of the nail clipper), I told her that I didn’t want any polish. Honestly, I didn’t want to waste my time getting a shoddy paint job on my nails that were so short that they were raw. $ 53 later, I left with ugly gold toe nails, and little boy finger nails. I can’t believe they even do nails at this place — please, stick to what you know.

I’ve been getting my hair done at Axis for years! Vicente is wonderful and the Aveda products are so nice. The one and only con is that after tax and tip it can get very expensive. It’s definitely worth it to me!

This place gives it all! Since you walk into the doors you get a warm welcome. They offer nothing but the best! They are all loving and caring. They’ll make you’re welcome comfort and warm. Everyone is always in a good mood. They never let no costumer down. It’s like family. AMAZINGPLACEFORANYTYPEOFSERVICE!!! I RECOMMENDTHISLOCATION.

Will not be going here again by choice. Got hair and makeup. Stylist worked on my hair behind the register which i thought was a little unprofessional. My makeup and hair was ok nothing special just overpriced. One girl of our group had her hair fried by the stylist. Along with makeup got fake eyelashes the lady did not know how to put them on. This was for the whole group and we ended up having to redo our own lashes or just take them off completely. I think they need some refining or additional training on small things. Overall they were nice but nothing special where I would ever book or recommend this salon.

Jessi gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten… Great massage, listened to what I wanted and delivered an amazing cut… Highly recommended salon for any traveling professional.

I can’t say I liked the haircut I got here(only so so) but if you want an incredible PEDICURE to to Goly(can’t vouch for anyone else.) It’s pricey(about $ 45 +tip), but she is really gentle and extremely thorough. My pedi was perfect, my calloused feet were soft as a baby’s behind, and the best part– the pedicure lasted for a month– much longer than the less expensive pedis I have had.

Update: over a year later they started texting spam to my phone without my consent. I have had some bad haircuts around the world but this place tops the list. I went in and after looking at a few books picked out simple haircut. The hair was short and respectable. I believe the model was even Brad Pitt, Mr. Respectable(well, sorta),. After *2 hours* I walked out looking like Rodney Dangerfield. One would think that being downtown the salon would be half way decent… but no, that is faaaar from the truth. Save yourself and go to Nob Hill, preferably Mark Pardo(they saved me a month later when my hear grew out) near the COOP. More like Axis of evil… damn, Im still upset. really, this place sucks. And by the way, just because they are an «AVEDA» salon does not mean they are good. They suck. Do I have to give one star?
