I’ve shopped this location for years and have always found the people that work there extremely helpful and knowledgable. While smaller than some locations, the attention you get makes me feel smaller is often better. Bob, the manager, has been especially helpful. Makes my job as a stylistic easy!

Ordered a couch. Next day changed the color. Was debited for two couches.(staff stated that debiting would be upon shipping, in six weeks) They took off the charges, then debited us again before it was ready. Then sent a nice slipcover with arms but the couch had no arms. Again, weeks later got the couch with arms. Then we were debited twice for the single order, the bank confirmed it, PB denied it. Bank even suggested cancelling the card so they couldn’t keep plundering my funds. This needs to be reported to some governmental entity. I can’t blame the sales staff at this one branch. They were perfectly fine. There is no way to review a national company, I don’t think, or I would have.

Pottery Barn is overpriced, yes, but an absolute joy to walk through and imagine the furniture in your own home. Except at this location. At first I thought it was just me, but after talking to a few friends and colleagues, I realized our experiences were all the same. The customer service at this location is terrible, and the staff is downright rude. Forget about being approached and asked if you need assistance at this store– you’re lucky if after several minutes of hunting you can track down a sales associate. And even then, they’re likely to say something along the lines of «I’m busy, let me page someone»(with that someone inevitably NOT showing up). 3 – 4 times I’ve been in here in the past month or so, and every single time I have a terrible experience. My advice is to save your money and go to HomeGoods, where the prices are better and the employees aren’t snobbish about your tastes(or apparent lack thereof).

I went here over the weekend, it wasn’t very busy. So the store is typical pottery barn– stylish, chic. however the people working here were terrible! they couldn’t give me the time of day. at the register, the person working there simply motioned for me to come there, he didn’t say anything to me. rang me up, and that was that. so incredibly rude. next time, i’m shopping online. what a horrible experience!!!

I really, really wanted to give this place five stars, because I freaking LOVE Pottery Barn. I registered here for my wedding, and I come here every time I’m at the mall – in fact, I’ll come to the mall JUST to come to this store. I love, love, love the styles carried here, and one of my favorite I’m-wasting-time-online hobbies is to go to their website, pretend I won the lottery, and pick out all the items I would buy if I had money to burn(usually amounts to like $ 30k, no joke). My husband, who is in the USAF, and I intend to furnish our home with nothing but Pottery Barn furniture as soon as he gets his duty station in about a year. We’ve already bought a coffee table that is sitting in my parents’ basement in a box, waiting for the move. I also have some smaller décor-type purchases, like my new Pocket Watch Clock in the nickel finish that I absolutely adore. That said, as much as I LOVE this company, this particular store actually doesn’t have the best service. We are rarely approached by employees asking if we need help. On the one hand, it’s nice not to be shadowed, but on the other we’ve had times where we WANTED help, like with the wedding registry, and we ended up unable to get anyone to help us; we actually left the store to wander around the mall for awhile, coming back after 30 minutes or so to see if we could get help then. Sometimes I get the feeling that they’re just so used to people parking outside the store and just walking through to get to the mall itself, they just don’t even bother approaching customers anymore.

So, normally I wouldn’t review a Pottery Barn but this one and I have some history — take last weekend, where I was an hour late for a friend’s wedding reception, and true to form I still hadn’t picked up a gift so I ran in here and three lovely ladies(all of whom knew my mom — hey, alb is a small place) helped me find the registry, pick, box, wrap and get me on my way pronto. I went with glassware, but in retrospect recommend plates as they’re quicker and easier to pack in a hurry. word, I’m a pottery barn fan.
