This is an awesome little neighborhood pizza place with a great backstory. A guy who comes in to my bar got me hooked on it(Burn It) and my gf and I are glad he did. Just old school pizza in the top of any I’ve had in Albany. I’ll tell you that much for free.

Amazing pizza. I’m from NYC and have been struggling to find good pizza for the 5 years I’ve been in Albany. A friend who is an Albany native brought me to pj’s the other night and it changed my life. Good crust, great sauce. If you want real pizza this is it in Albany!

This is the only pizza allowed in my house. It is absolutely wonderful, the best you will find in the Albany area. Just a plain cheese pizza will change your life.

It’s really hard to find good pizza in Albany and when you’re really craving pizza it’s tempting to settle for I Love NY or Madison’s pizza b/c its close by. Some Albany folk told me about PJs a few weeks ago and we decided to get it for lunch, but I wasn’t expecting much after the pizza I have had in this area. We drove down and ordered, but I have to say, sketchy sketchy neighborhood. Definitely will call for delivery next time. But we ordered and it was quick and when we got home our minds were blown… Great pizza. Don’t know what it is, but so much better and more authentic than the crap around the colleges. They do close early though, I have tried to order since the first time I had it and have called kind of late(11ish) and both times it’s been closed. I’m used to the convenience of the college pizza places being open late but I’ll never settle for that pizza again just because its past 10pm!
