I love it here! I have not ordered anything other than the breakfast, but it was always delicious no matter what I tried. I am happy when I leave every time and I recommend it to all of my friends!

Visiting the area for a grad school interview, stopped in for dinner. The food came out lightening fast! I was amazed. Crystal, our waitress was super nice, friendly, and accommodating. The omelet I ordered was delicious! so was the triple chocolate mouse. I love that they serve breakfast and lunch all day here! :)))

Peaches café is located in stuyvasant plaza, next door to chipotle. It is a nice convenient spot to check out if you’re looking for a café style dine in. As for the food, I have stopped in to Peaches a few times and each time I felt let down and wasn’t impressed with the actual food itself. Wait staff/staff were friendly and helpful — but the food seemed to lack any real flavor that made me want to recommend anyone to come try it. The prices were moderate, but to spend $ 30 on 3 desserts that seems to lack any significant flavor was very disappointing. I can not speak for there dinner options, I have only been in to have breakfast and a dessert run. It was not overly impressed by the food. If you’re in stuyvasant plaza and looking for food I would recommend either: blaze pizza, providence, or Creó.

It had been a while since I’d eaten at Peaches so I stopped in this weekend for a quick lunch. It was not too busy at 1pm Sunday(woe to the diner who comes here at 11am on a Sunday). I ordered a BLT, which came with chips and a pickle. It was a fine plate of food for $ 7.95. My husband, on the other hand, got what was essentially a chicken panini with mozzarella and it cost him over $ 13. Now that I just don’t get. Their desserts, however, were phenomenal as always. Average food and above average prices. Don’t get your hopes at Peaches and you’ll be just fine.

This place is kind of pricey for what you get but I like that it is one of the few places in the area that offers gluten free bread. So, finally a place where I can get a delicious French omelette(brie, asparagus, and mushrooms) with GF toast! yay! The breakfast potatoes are pretty yummy too. My husband loves the hash and we love to share the greasy spoon cheese fries! Of course, I smother them in sour cream ’cause — why not?

Nice to find a place for lunch where you sit at your table while waiting for your food to be served. Food is not the greatest but still good. Most sandwiches are in the $ 10 – 15 ranges which is expensive. Owner must be making good money. I hope the employees do as well.

I genuinely love it here, but multiple times my Bellini was disappointing and I understand catering to A specific diner but on a few occasions the food was sadly more bland than I’d hoped. I’d love to see a more adventurous lunch menu. Otherwise, dessert is great, friendly service and there are many dishes that have never failed to impress and leave me content.

Expensive for no reason. It’s a diner with décor. I’ve given this place enough tries and enough money. The last time I took my mother(her doctor is around the corner) and my wife. We each had a wrap, and a drink. My wife and I had a sundae and a coffee. The bill was over $ 90 with the tip. I can forgive the price if the service and presentation is notable. It was not busy so we were seated quickly. The table was freshly wiped down with a wet towel and never dried. The menus actually stuck to the table from the moisture. Didn’t see a server for almost 10 minutes…, lunch arrived almost a half an hour after she took our order… smallish portions, kind of blah tasting. Just a frustrating experience.

Absolutely love it here. They aren’t very fast, and that’s because they’re usually packed full, but it’s so worth the wait. They make their orange juice fresh squeezed and have a massive selection of Italian sodas. Nothing beats the breakfast waffle on my opinion. It’s a Belgian waffle with bacon cooked inside and two eggs on top.

Delicious from start to finish! Milanese omlette was to die for! Those super yummy marinated portabellas could have been their own dish! Dining companion had a traditional omlette & also said it was ooey, gooey & yummy(& she’s hard to please!) Shared a coffee mousse which we had to bring ½ of home due to its coffee/chocolate rich combo, so we got to enjoy it twice!

I’ve eaten here many many times over the years I’ve spent in Albany and it’s always pretty good, never really exceptional, but reliable and generally very friendly. Today I enjoyed their Chicken Souvlaki PIta Wrap($ 9.95). Very tasty, not drowning in sauce or salt or onions, served very warm with a slight bit of crisp to the bread. The side of slaw(coulda had cottage cheese or chips as well) nothing complex, but fresh and nicely sweet. Fries and onion rings would be extra. Peanut had the special sandwich — a Cajun Crab Cake Wrap($ 10.95) that was actually served on a roll so she asked for it in a whole wheat wrap, with the mayo on the side, which they were happy to do. The service is sometimes slow — especially at lunchtime when the place is usually jammed — but today’s server was lovely — kind, patient and very helpful. FYI this place won’t seat a party of four until #4 shows up, which always ticks me off. I suggest you go during off-hours if you can.

A turkey club cost $ 15!!! And it took almost 40 minutes to get it. When I finally got it I was expecting something special for the price. It was a standard club sandwich I could get anywhere else for almost half the price. I’ve had delicious prime rib dinners that cost less then this uninspired lunch sandwich. I will not return based on the lack of bang-to-buck ratio. I’ll pay the price for great food. This basic sandwich did not qualify as great food. UPDATE: After tax yet before tip the sandwich cost over $ 16. I appreciate that the owner reached out to me but there was nothing that warranted the price of this turkey club. My issue was not with the service but with the price. The service was great but the owners should reconsider their prices. Just because they are located in Stuyvesant Plaza doesn’t give them the right to charge such outrageous prices.

Some people love it. I don’t This is an upscale dining hall that served corned beef hash from the can. It gets very crowded and I would rather go to the TGIF’s across the street.

STELLARSERVICE, DELICIOUSFOOD! I dined here this evening and left feeling incredibly satisfied and even happier than when I arrived. My waitress made sure every need was attended to and provided phenomenal recommendations. My sandwich was packed with flavor — the grilled vegetables must have been marinated, as they were especially tasty. After my scrumptious meal, we faced much debate over the tightly packed bakery case — everything looked too good to choose! Finally, Crystal, our phenomenal server, came to the rescue and helped us hone in on the perfect slice of caramely turtle cheesecake. I had a blast dining out with my friends in such an awesome atmosphere. I positively can not wait to come again.

Good food. Great desserts. Nice atmosphere. All the food on the menu seemed pretty basic, but what I’ve ordered here is pretty tasty. Not fantastic, but definitely not bad. Where they excel is in their baked goods. Try them out! The prices are very reasonable. Definitely save room for dessert.

Not worth your time and money. I had rather low expectations given the modest reviews, and yet the food was still worse than expected. Upon the server’s suggestion, I got the Southwest Potato Frittata($ 8.95 now), and found it completely bland and very much overcooked and very dry. The service was fine though, and although being in what others consider to be a fancy shopping plaza, it was reasonably priced. But, your money would be better spent at Denny’s. Bottom line: Skip it.

Came here for the first time for lunch today. Pros: — The peach tart was really yummy, but I never had a peach tart before so I couldn’t compare how ‘amazing’ it was — Great service: waitress was attentive and nice — Cozy environment Cons: — Avoid the fries, you could get better fries at McDonald’s — Portobello Melt was extremely salty, other than that it could’ve been an amazing sandwich — Pretty steep prices($ 10 – 14 for salad or sandwiches)

I always love going to Peaches when I’m in the capital region. It’s a cozy café offering comfort food, but is one step ahead of a diner. Their coffee is decent and I really love their tea options(loose leaf and harney & sons brand). My favorite item is the veggie quiche, but be warned that the crust is more doughy than it is flakey. I always like that, but I know some people don’t. I’ve had many of their salads and sandwiches, and their soup always tastes like it came straight off of Mom’s stove. Everything is well portioned, but I never have leftovers. Decent prices for the ambience. Great service. Always crowded. Good for brunch!

Wow, after hearing some great recommendations from friends for this place now that I’m checking it out on Unilocal I am feel much better about my not-so-great experience I had at Peaches this weekend. We showed up on a Sunday, around 11:45. I had a feeling it was going to be busy but I wanted to check it out. My date and I stood there for a full 5 mins waiting to find a hostess. I made eye contact with about 8 different servers all who averted their eyes. I don’t mind waiting for a table, or waiting for a hostess but at least someone could have been like«oh the hostess will be right with you.» I hate feeling ignored by people I plan on giving my money too. Right as I was about to walk out the hostess decided to show up and take my name, 5 mins later we were sat. First thing I noticed was how pricey the menu was. $ 4.50 for a cappuccino or a tea? $ 4.75 for a cup of the soup d’jour? Just generally overpriced for breakfast. A club sandwich is 15+ dollars! I got the California Eggs Benedict. I asked for onions with my home fries(not an odd request I thought). My eggs were over hard, not an ounce of runny yolk(LAME) and the home fries had HUGE chunks(bigger than quarters) of barely cooked onions. Color me unimpressed. My date said his pancakes were greasy, but the bacon and waffles looked really good. The table service was great, very attentive(even though 3 different servers took our order, brought the food, cleaned up, too the check… odd) but my hungover self was aching for more water and none came besides the first waters that graced the table. That ALWAYS bums me out. I feel like this place is not as good as the average diner around. I wouldn’t go back or recommend this place to anyone.
