First found Moe’s in Tampa and am always excited when I find them in my travels. Their burrito is huge and packed with everything and anything you want. The burrito bowl is great if you don’t want an exploding burrito in your hand as you try to bite into the overly stuffed wrapped burrito. Their special queso is awesome, and I like that you get chips with your order(unlike Chipotle). Great taste, great chicken/carnitas/buffalo chicken selection, great queso, great salsas. What more can you want? Reasonable prices, you got it!

My burrito bowl was great aside from the fact that I got more gristle than chicken. And the pubic hair I found in it. Though, in all fairness I suppose it could have been an extra curly arm hair? The one star they get is only because I enjoy their queso.

I’ve since graduated, but this Moes was a trademark of my collegiate days at UAlbany. They really take care of the college students on Sunday’s. It was always pleasure eating moes w the crew watching football. I would get a home wrecker w the works every Sunday, never once deviating. Don’t mess with success. Queso is supposed to be extra but more often than not the cashier would conveniently«forget». Chips are free and their salsa is delish. Also, there is something magical about the cherry coke at this facility, it seems as if it were drawn fresh from the well. The combination between the entrée, beverage, good company, and the chips w salsa made this moes something I looked forward to on Sunday’s. I literally get nostalgic thinking about this Moes and was upset when I saw a poor review. The staff is usually college students, and they usually roll a tight burrito which is something u never will get at the other Mexican chains.

this moes sucks. a majority of the employees either have no idea what they’re doing or don’t care. as I was waiting for my burrito bowl to be made I was watching the 3 boys behind the counter aimlessly wondering around trying to figure out to do with their life. thank you for the one kid who took everyone’s job because the other kid didn’t know how to put together some lettuce and quac. it took 20 mins to get 5 people though the line. I could have done that in minutes with my non-moes experiences. avoid this moes.

I’m going to start by saying — we LOVE Moe’s! However, we are so disappointed in this chain location. As a family we frequent this restaurant 2 – 3 times a month. We love it because it’s kid friendly and when we need a date night but can’t find a sitter, it’s a family date and everyone is happy. Over the last year we are more disappointed with the service than the time before. At one of our most recent visits for lunch, it was an all time low. The entire time we were there, from entrance to exit(about an hour), we never heard a single Welcome. And it was busy, at any given time there was a line of at least 5 people. The tables and floor were filthy; out of the 5 or so booths that were open there wasn’t a single one that wasn’t covered in food. And no one was working on it… The soda machine was out of ice and our top 2 picks of drinks were out. Our meals were tasty but they were out of fresh jalapeños, which we love. Lastly, and probably the worst part, there was quite the commotion behind the counter between employees. Something along the lines of someone not showing up for work. We debated whether or not to post this because we are such loyal Moes fans, but it is going to make us think twice before coming back. Get it together Moe’s!

We had a rare case of hunger induced amnesia which caused us to forget that there is a Chipotle directly around the corner from this Moe’s location, things went downhill from there. Upon walking in I thought I was in a George Romero movie. Five lethargic, yet semi-animated, corpses adorned in Moe’s gear attended to trivial matters with a complete lack of joy and enthusiasm. We received no «welcome to Moe’s» and no smile, these walkers didn’t even seem hungry as evidence by their complete lack of interest in us. I approached the food assembly line, there were two people that were currently being«assisted,» after what seemed like an eternity the zombie behind the counter started helping my wife. After placing her quesadilla on the grill she came back to me, looked past me and asked the girl behind me if she could get her something. When I made a noise alerting the zombie of my presence(I’m told their sight is not always so good) she offered to make me a burrito. She placed a thimble full of rice and beans on a burrito shell the size of a tent. Another walker came over to pick up where the first one left off. After adding some cheese, sour cream, and beans(at my request) I asked her to put some cilantro on it. She grabbed the biggest handful she could and, before I could request less, spread it all over my burrito. We then proceeded to pay and were given a dirty cup, a skirmish broke out among two of the dead over how to resolve such a complicated dilemma, ultimately the senior zombie decided a new cup was in order. We then made our way to the soda machine, the deluxe model that comes with the broken ice machine. After I ate my cilantro stuffed tortilla and my wife found the piece of chicken hidden in the midst of her«quesadilla» our amnesia wore off. This conversation then ensued: Her: «Wait a minute, isn’t there a Chipotle right around the corner?» Me: «By golly, you’re right! What are we doing in this fright fest?» Her: «I’m so sorry, I was so hungry I just shouted out the closest building that resembled a restaurant.» Me: «Now that you mention it, I think this place was once a restaurant. In fact, I’m pretty sure it used to be a Southwest Grill. Actually, that corpse right there [points to guy sweeping the floor] looks familiar, I’m pretty sure before he rose from the grave he used to work at said Southwest Grill!» Her: «You’re right sweetheart, before Chipotle came to town there was a Southwest Grill here. They offered a million menu items all done in subpar fashion, but then Chipotle did three menu options with excellence and nobody went there anymore. Now it looks like the dead have returned here and walk around pretending to serve food.» In conclusion, if zombies bit off one of my legs in front of this building, I would hop to Chipotle using my one existing good leg to avoid having to return to this place ever again.

Two stars, and here is why. Every time I come to this location, it’s freezing. In the middle of winter and even now at the end of March, it’s freezing in here. I always enjoy having dinner with my jacket on. Secondly, the staff tonight, has no sense of urgency. While a quesadilla is cooking and there’s is food waiting to be topped off, she’s just staring obliviously into the distance. As far as I can tell there is no manager on hand. There needs to be. And not just tonight, always. As far as I am concerned, at this point, the only good thing about this place is convenience of location.

I got here right around 8:30 and they close at 9:00. The employees were very nice which is a huge plus because of the time I showed up. I remember back in the days when I worked fast food I hated last min patrons. The establishment was clean.

Gorgeous day so I decided to go for a walk to grab some lunch. Granted it was lunch time but seriously we waited twenty minutes… then when I asked for just a small side of beans for the little guy they looked at me like I asked for the moon. We then had to wait anither five minutes to check out and they werent sure if I could buy just a small side of beans? What? Come on.

Worst Moes I’ve ever been to. We go to our local one about once a month and never have an issue, so when I’m traveling it’s nice to go to a place I know my kids will eat. Where to begin? Only after I asked why there was no rice going into my son’s burrito did the woman making my food let me know there was no rice and it would be 20 minutes until there would be more. I’m mentioned they might want to tell the 15 people on line that they were out of rice and she mumbled that she«didn’t need this shit and I’m totally going to walk out». They were totally in the weeds and getting angrier by the second. They put cheese on my Fish taco and when I told her they don’t come that way she yelled and me and said«well what goes in it then?!» Restaurant was a mess, bathrooms were dirty, soda machine was out of ice.

Been to this location a few times on my way to/from Albany Airport. The one thing that’s always stuck with me is how filthy the place is. The tables have always been dirty and the salsa bar doesn’t appear to ever get cleaned. Fix that — and this is like every other Moe’s in America.

This location is on my list. Dry chicken, no taste on the additions. And dirty inside!

Probably the worst Moe’s experience ever. The staff is in need of adult supervision. No effort to keep the place clean or even picked up. Watched a staff member make himself a burrito and then when they got to mine asked me if I would like it for here or to go… I said for here and he proceeded to put it in a bag — more interested in carrying on with his coworkers then attending customers or keeping the place clean. The dining area looked like it hadn’t been swept in hours.

If Moe’s is looking for innovative ways to get me to reduce the number of stars I provide on a review, they’re succeeding all too well. What have been enjoyable dining experiences in the past are now trending towards very disappointing. Let’s start with the new card on all the tables — a contest with cash rewards for check-ins. That sounds cool… register at , then check in on … Facebook… 4Square… and … and … HEY, THAT’S IT!!! So you can’t participate on a website where not only can you check in but also provide make-or-break reviews? BOOOOO!!! I also hope the paper with which they line their baskets is tasty. As I moved my fajita ingredients from my basket onto my tortilla, when I got to the bottom I discovered not paper but the basket itself. It seems the paper had turned to mush and mixed with my fajita ingredients. So they wrap freshly made tortillas — a dry item — in aluminum foil, and they line the baskets which could contain sauteed onions and peppers, sour cream, beans, etc., with paper? Wouldn’t doing the reverse make more sense? I rarely order burritos at Moe’s. I prefer the ones at Hot Harry’s. Instead I’ll order fajitas. There’s usually more than enough ingredients to make the fajitas for the(only) 3 tortillas they provide(a 4th tortilla would be nice). So instead, I dump the leftovers onto a basket of chips, and presto, instant nachos to complete my meal. Last night, the guy behind the counter asked me if I wanted beans and/or rice with my fajita. That was a first. I think more likely, the guy was just so used to asking about beans and rice for burritos that he mechanically asks everybody regardless. It was a nice change to add black beans to my basket of fajita ingredients. But even scooping those(and the sauteed onions and peppers) out of their wells with a slotted spoon, enough liquid came out as well which allowed for«mushy paper» to be a surprise new ingredient. It also seems like their salsas have done a «Reverse Emeril,» i.e., they’ve kicked their salsa DOWN a notch. It seems a little more watered down recently as well. Again, I prefer Hot Harry’s salsas. Other trends here which are not good signs… prices are going up and the number of people dining is is going down.

I usually am not too interested in anything at Moe’s because I don’t see the all the hype around burritos, but I needed to try one of the new taco stacks. The only problem I have with places that let you add whatever toppings at your discretion is I tend to get overexcited and overdo it. I put steak, shredded cheese, queso, jalapenos, grilled onions, mushrooms, guac, pico de gallo, and sour cream in this monster. It was so stuffed the poor guy could barely close it to put on the grill. In the end there was too much going on and I think I would have enjoyed it more if I limited myself to a few core ingredients. I hope they keep these on the menu. I would definitely come back again. Love the fresh tortilla chips with queso.

I have to down grade. I was in there for lunch recently and they now have stickers on the table boasting about the integrity of their food and the health benefits of their food; it is baloney. The food still tastes as decent as to be expected, but this table sticker is too much and makes me want to smack Moe’s marketing person on the side of the head. 1.) They boast that their chicken is cage-free with no-hormones added. Moe, I hate to burst your bubble, but all chicken in hormone free as per USDA requirement and packing labels that want to boast about this are actually required to disclose that the chicken is «hormone free(as per USDA regulation)». 2.) They boast that their pork is «grain fed, steroid-free, and no hormones added». So basically they have regular old pork that you find in any grocery store(probably a grade or two less then you would buy for home consumption) as USDA also prohibits the use of hormones(including steroids) in hogs and grain is typically what hogs are fed(its cheap and makes them reach market weight quicker, and I don’t actually know what hogs would eat if allowed to free-eat but I’m guessing its not grain). 3.) Moe’s is special: their sour cream, chicken, steak, and pork are Gluten Free. 4.) The statement about the tortilla chips that they are 100% whole grain(corn) is a tad misleading as to how healthy this product is. While whole grain can be part of of a healthy diet, I don’t think deep fried whole grain corn(or whole grain anything for that matter) is quiet the same thing. They do disclose that the chips are fried, but I guess the overall tenor of the table sticker was«look we’re a healthy choice»…and they aren’t as healthy as they want to be) The table sticker goes on the blab about fresh and other certain items being a great source of vitamins, blah blah blah. Lets be honest here folks: Moe’s is better quality fast food compared to McDonald’s or Taco Bell, but it is still fast food. There is nothing magically healthy for you in any of the ingredients(except maybe the pico de gallo which my only objection to is the massive amount of salt in it). You can make a «better» choice calorie-wise if you do your research, but on the whole it isn’t good for you. And I admit, when a Moe’s craving hits that stupid burrito tastes like 4 stars, but I just don’t like the company.

Moe’s has an extensive menu, including tacos, burritos, salads, quesadillas, nachos, fajitas and a kids’ menu. I like that they have tofu in addition to the meat options. They also offer tortilla chips with your meal, and there’s a nifty little salsa bar. Although Moe’s has a lot of options, I wasn’t thrilled with the quality of the food. The meat was a tad dry and the veggies weren’t as fresh as I’d like. The staff at Moe’s was below average. They were quick, yes; but they barely looked at me and were not very friendly. Moe’s prices are a steal but the place has a real«fast food» feel to it, in terms of décor, quality and service. I will probably return to Moe’s when I’m in the Wolf Road area, but I’m glad Chipotle in Latham is a more convenient location for me to frequent.
