Always slow. You sit there at the drive through in silence until someone decides to ask you for your order. Staff is rude and not customer service oriented. Overcharged me and for my order wrong. When I complained one girl walked away and the other seemed annoyed that I complained. Repeated me order 3 times and they still got it wrong. I would give no stars if I could. Stay away from this place.

Pulled up to your drive through. Sat there for five minutes with no response. Proceeded to pull up to your other drive through and waited five more minutes before be greeted by a lady saying, «What you want?» She tried selling me on two apple pies despite having none in stock. All hot food items I received were cold. I don’t expect much from any McDonald’s, but you guys take laziness to another level. Try harder to be lazy, you can’t.

The last time I had a Big Mac must have been almost twenty years ago. Maybe it’s only been a bit more than fifteen years. Whatever the number, it’s been a long long time. Recently, I was chatting with a talented Saratoga Springs chef, and he admitted these signature burgers were a twice a year indulgence. So I figured maybe it was time to try this fast food classic one more time. I have to say, it was better than I had expected. A few years back, I decided to try a similar experiment with the Burger King Whopper, and I found that to be absolutely disgusting. To clarify, I found the meat to be spongy with no discernable flavor, but with a lingering artificial aftertaste that I couldn’t get rid of for hours. What I learned recently is that the Big Mac isn’t about the meat at all, it’s all about the special sauce. The primary experience is the richness of the emulsified oils, blended with cheese, some beef fat, and a tender white bun. The only thing that makes this bearable are the bright pickles, sharp onions, and shreds of crisp and earthy iceberg lettuce. Even still, I needed to hit reset every bite or so, with a few french fries. The fries at this location were right on the mark. I know that McDonald’s has a special device to make sure each batch of fries gets the same amount of salt, but for some reason or another that never seems to work. The salinity of these fries really made my mouth crave another bite of that creamy comfort. And I was glad to have an unsweetened iced tea to wash the whole thing down. Since it was a rare treat, I went large. Holy cow, that’s a large cup of iced tea. Even still, I went back for more. That’s what salty food will do for you. Not that I’m complaining, I do love well seasoned fries. I also found the staff there to be exceptional. There was a woman ahead of me on line, and she was acting erratically. The employee taking orders, handled her with a kindness and professionalism that I would not expect from someone on the front lines of fast food. This visit was all about going in with low expectations and then having a better experience than I imagined. Still, the Big Mac will not replace my go-to guilty pleasure sandwich at McDonald’s. That is the crispy chicken bacon club, or something along those lines. But that is a story for another day.

One star because I have to in order to do a review… Placed my order and drove to the window. The girl hands me two drinks and says I’m not sure which one is the diet I’m sorry… I then proceeded to say well I can’t have a regular soda I have to have diet and she said I’m sorry I don’t remember to which I then asked her to give me two sodas that were correct because she did not offer to give me the correct drinks. She then dumped out the sodas and reused the cups. When we pulled around and opened our bags it was not the order that we ordered. My friend then went inside for quite some time. I’m really not sure how two sandwiches and two french fries could really be that messed up! They did to correct the order and gave us fresh fries.
