Fabulous attitude and friendliness of hosts and servers. We had the spicy tuna roll. She loved it. Beautiful. Also the parm fries. Nice, nothing special. Pasta carbanara was very nice. Enjoyed the fried ice cream. A special drink by your lovely bartender to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. She chose the restaurant. Thank you

Loved the atmosphere inside. We sat at the bar and had a great bartender. We enjoyed the k-town pizza and the pulled pork sandwich. Very reasonably priced and large beer selection to chose from.

Amazing shithole! We could have dealt with the horrific karaōke singers and half naked skanky bartenders… BUT: this is NOT a high end club or restaurant. We got asked to leave because I was wearing a baseball cap with my hair in braids(we are in town for a fitness competition). They felt threatened that a woman was wearing a hat? Had just ordered drinks… and would have spent ALOT of money there between us and friends. AVOID this dive… rude, and certainly think they are something they are not!

Love this local sports bar with great food and atmosphere!!! Awesome staff, karaōke, trivia, live music, painting, etc… Also, to the group that came in tonight and sat in Eliza’s section, didn’t wait to be seated, would not order from her, said you were ordering from the bar, then got angry because she would not stop waiting by on her other tables to get your orders, get a life. These ladies work hard, always friendly, the food is awesome and the atmosphere is casual. Your loss…

Love our WaitStaff Beth!!! Love this place for Trivia on Tuesday with $ 5 drinks and really enjoy the sirracha fries. Don’t care for the lack of tables. Lots of wasted space that could be used to add more seating. Opens at 4 so if you want to go make sure you reserve a spot.

Oh LAX. How do I love you? Let me count the ways… Sriracha pie with goat cheese. Actually I don’t need to count the ways that about says it all.

Still a fan of LAX after a few visits now. Their menu is varied and there is something on it for everyone. This time I tried the Lark Street wrap, which is your basic fried chicken with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and ranch dressing wrap. Basic though it may have been, it was good. What was better were the dirty Sriracha fries that I subbed in for regular fries. Those things are amazing. I also got a marg as per usual and got sticker shock when I saw on my receipt that it was $ 9. I think I already knew that but it still gets me. Overall, LAX on Lark maintains their 4 star rating in my book.

Decent enough restaurant with a somewhat unique menu selection. Nothing spectacular, but you can definitely fare worse in the Capital District. Good atmosphere for dinner and carrying on conversations. The service there is good and attentive without being over-bearing, even on a pretty busy night, and a fair selection of spirits, wines, and beer. The entrées are pretty good and priced fairly reasonably for the area. The pineapple chicken curry was done well and the Chicken Teriyaki Linguine is interesting enough to give it a go. Try their crab rangoon pizza(although doesn’t really have a lot of ‘crab’ in the crab rangoon), have a pasta dish, try their salad, get a sandwich; maybe skip on the Ital-Asian box which is heavier on price and lighter on portions. With that being said; if you like burgers, this is NOT the place to get them. Touting them as «fresh ground sirloin», I’d expect that at least some effort would go into having a burger patty that didn’t taste like pre-made bulk, possibly frozen, burger that hasn’t been touched-by-a-human-hand until it’s put on a grill. The first time, I ordered the Bonzai Burger(which apparently has an identity crisis, named after a Japanese phrase and having Korean BBQ sirloin on it), I could barely taste the sirloin and the burger was, well, gristly. I mean I literally pulled a piece of gristle from the burger, but maybe it was a bad batch. The second time was the Jack Daniels burger. Decent sauce, gristly burger. I don’t know what they are doing to the«fresh ground sirloin», but it isn’t working. Stop in, have a couple drinks, try out some new combinations, really just anything other than the burgers.

Good drinks on weeknight but they seem a bit weak on the weekends. Their food is good and their staff is pretty skilled, but there’s either a long wait or it’s just missing something. Karaōke on Thursdays and Saturdays keeps me coming back.

Came here on a weeknight. Place is huge. The drinks are decently priced and we received good quick service. The food was ok. They have a really large menu. Probably too large. I would prefer they have less things and do them well than have an enormous menu and do none of them that well. I came with a group of 6 and outside of the pesto pizza no one really loved their food. I only went once and the service was good so I would consider giving it another shot.

Can’t get enough of the dirty sirracha fries and pretty much every single appetizer… plus they deliver across the street to my apartment…

I stopped in here back in November for a few drinks and it was a decent place overall. The beer selection was pretty good and the service wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but it’s a decent place if you stop in.

LAX is a place with SO much potential. The menu is unique and there’s always a struggle of what to order. In terms of scrimps, I usually opt for a marg or martini. The buffalo mozzarella sticks are delicious — if they aren’t a special you can always ask for them anyway. The buffalo chicken pizza is pretty good. Every entrée I’ve had has been good but missing something. The pad Thai is missing some flavor and spice, the yellow curry is bland and the red curry is okay but needs more flavor. We keep coming back and trying other food, but I haven’t yet had sow thing that I desire again and again. Buying the Groupon or Amazon Local deal is the way to go. We done with friends hat way and it’s much more reasonable. Service has been hit or miss, but Phillip is an interesting character, knowledgable and usually makes us laugh a couple times.

Wow wouldn’t let me in on a Friday night because I had a CT license that said«Under 21 until 2013.» Bouncers clearly need to be trained better. He refused to even look at the date or let me explain. CT doesn’t reissue licenses at 21 — and this one doesn’t expire until 2016. Oh well. My 7 friends and I went to Pinto’s instead to celebrate my birthday. Their loss.

I came here on a Saturday night with a large group of friends specifically for drink specials and their Saturday night karaōke, so my review is based primarily on these. LAX delivered! I’m not a huge karaōke fan, but I do appreciate a good setting and a good emcee. LAX had both. The stage area isn’t huge — there’s barely enough room for more than one person to be there at a time. But that also adds an air of intimacy, and the crowd really gets into it. There was a steady stream of performers with rarely more than a 2 or 3 song wait. I do think the DJ overreacted a bit when a couple of the performers used a «stage name» for their act — why is that such a big deal, I see it as part of the entertainment? I don’t have a lot of other places in the area with which to compare their karaōke, but my first impression is that you don’t need to go anyplace else.

Went to LAX for dinner with my girl friend with high hopes. We love Asian cuisine and thought this was an interesting twist on Asian Italian fusion. We stared off with the garlic parm wings and calamari. Both were cooked perfectly but lacked sauce. Calamari had very little of their sauce on it, which was delicious but we wanted more! The wings were a similar story, not enough flavor in the garlic or parm department. For entrees we ordered the fusion tacos, JD burger and Pad Thai. Pad Thai was very good but again was a little dry/sticky and needed more sauce. The JD burger was awesome, my favorite part of the meal but the side house salad was drenched in dressing and became soggy quickly. Lastly the fusion tacos were pretty good. Tasted very fresh but again needed the Korean BBQ they said it was flavored with. All in all this was a good meal; wasn’t wowed away or anything but I definitely would come back and try different dishes.

Happy hour from 4 – 7 for drinks and appetizers! The food is a little pricey for the appetizer considering its quantity. But they did a good job with blending different flavor and creating that Asian fusion! Check groupon or living social Incase they still have the 50% coupon!

First off, let me warn you on how long it’s gonna take you to make a decision on what to get because their menu is huge! They incorporated the fusion aspect very well. I give it 4 stars because it was a bit too pricey for the entrees. However it seemed like the locals came here for everything but the entrees. I’m glad I had a living social deal. For appetizers we got the buffalo chicken wontons. They gave you 6 and pretty much tasted like a buffalo chicken dip inside a wonton. They were perfectly crispy and the perfect size as well. The next thing we got was the LAX curry pizza. Red curry on a pizza? Can’t say no to that. And I’m glad I didn’t. It has the perfect amount of red curry flavor and the crust was thick and fluffy. Big enough for 3 people. Also ordered the spicy Cajun shrimp. They serve it in a tortilla bowl which I thought was a good idea. The shrimp on the skewers(6) was actually not spicy but still good. The pasta was amazing however. The white sauce with the peas and asparagus was definitely on point, salty and creamy. As for drinks, I got the cucumber freshener. It was refreshing for sure. I would get it again. The waitresses were very nice and the place itself was huge. The blue lighting set a great atmosphere!

Went to this restaurant while visiting a friend who lives a walkable distance. She had a coupon for a free pizza from their grand opening a year ago and we weren’t sure if they would accept it, but they did! The drinks list was extensive and looked yummy, but we stuck with beer and wine. It’s Asian and Italian food. Not much fusion, just both on the same menu. We shared the ravioli appetizer(which was fusion and delicious) and a plain cheese pizza. The pizza was nothing special, but pretty good. We were going to try the penne pizza, but it was made with meat sauce and she’s a vegetarian. Vegetarian and gluten free menu items are marked. However, they consider seafood vegetarian which was frustrating. The waiter and manager were pleasant and attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching. A few drunks came up and bothered people sitting by the barrier on separate occasions. When it happened and the waiter was outside he took care of the situation. Made for fun dinner conversion, but I can imagine the table that they talked to weren’t as amused!
