Stacy was the best waitress that I’ve ever had. She was attentive, interactive, and knowledgable about the establishment and menu!

Seated quickly for Wednesday dinner and they had a live band.(I haven’t been to Junior’s in close to 2 years. I’ve been here for lunch during the work week, and it was torture sometimes. We’d park in the back and the back door was locked, after knocking on it someone finally opened it up just as we were walking away, they were definitely high, but whatever) but I digress. I ordered the mac and cheese bites as an appetizer, and they were awful. It was like Kraft Mac n Cheese on the inside, so fake tasting. I ordered the burger with the fried egg, bacon, cheese, and fried onions on it.“One Eyed Willie”. I ordered it Medium, it was more so medium rare as there was red and some blood when I cut it, I don’t mind, but I ordered Medium for a reason. Everything else on the burger was fine. Fries are fries, nothing outstanding. I guess Juniors is a place I’ll go to every once in a great while, not by choice.

Went in for a late night dinner, really like how the inside looks! Waited for about 15 mins to be sat it was pretty busy but totally worth it! Got the wings and quesadillas and they were amazing! Not one bad thing to say about this place food and drinks were good all I can say is that this place is a little small but other than that it was great I’ll be coming back soon!

We were waiting at Café Madison for our table. We decided to grab a quick drink. The bartender fixed me a darn good Margarita and my husband had a beer. Service was great, their staff is friendly and the bar is super clean. Enjoy!!!

I love Junior’s. I’ve eaten there more times than I can count. The food and the service are excellent. It’s always packed on game days, so get there early, or get your food to go! The pizzas, wings, and sandwiches are excellent, but my go to foods are the salads. I love pubs that offer a nice variety of salads beyond just house and caesar. My favorite, hands down, is The Goat with added chicken. I usually skip the granola, but the salad is fantastic with or without it. The dressings are delicious and the chicken is lean and moist and flavorful. I’ve never had a bad experience at Junior’s and when we lived around the corner it was our go-to meal spot. It’s always at the top of the list of Albany places to go when we get out of the boonies and back into civilization.

Great pub food at reasonable prices. The wings are amazing!!! Always a great stop if your coming from a Ualbany class or just spent the day at xgates(minutes away from both), Down to earth sports environment and get together spot. Service is a major hit or miss. I’ve been their dozens of times and sometimes the waitresses can be great or to complete airheads almost making you wait 30 extra minutes to pay the bill… which has happened multiple times even when service is slow. Yes, waving down a waitress like a taxi can be annoying.

Usually very busy, food is decent pub fare. Wings are hit or miss there. Good place to go watch a game, get a burger

Juniors has excellent wings. The moonshine wings are probably one of the better wings in albany. Other then that I had a chicken marsala sandwich, which was very mediocre. The food is decent and it is one of the nicer places to eat in albany. It has live music which is quiet enjoyable. Gives off a very nice atmosphere. Im rating this as albany standards! One of the better places here!

Had a pretty good dining experience late on a Thursday evening. A group of us ordered a few different apps to share — different flavors of wings, broccoli cheddar bites, potato skins, cheese fries(we were pretty hungry). Everything tasted great — the moonshine wings of course being the hit. Wasn’t crazy about the fact that they use cheese wiz on their potato skins, but I’ll let it slide because everything else was good.

Still 2 stars, unfortunately. The owner responded to my last Unilocal review and asked me to come back in to help me change my mind. He even offered a giftcard, which I did not accept. He said it was bad business practice to charge for mustard and that he would never charge for mustard as a side for a burger… Well, guess what?! Yep, you guessed it! HESTILLCHARGES75CENTSFOR A SIDEOFMUSTARD! He also mistakenly accused me of being someone named Emily. I’m not Emily and I’m not sure if you think you know who I am, but I can guarantee you, we don’t know each other. Wings are still great!

Usually decent food and a good location. However anytime I have went the service hasn’t been very good and the wing night has a list of rules, the one that got me said you will be charged for a drink even if you order water. I’d say skip this one, albany has plenty of better spots.

Had a great experience, ate outside on a beautiful Saturday. Service was great, food was decent especially for what is essentially a bar. It’s definitely worth stopping in if you haven’t been. My spinach salad was good but I wasn’t a fan of the tomato based dressing. My husband’s steak sandwich was greasy but delicious, and the meat was super tender.

After living in Buffalo for a few years, where so many local bars/restaurants put their own stamp on this hometown classic, but nearly all still manage to turn out wonderfully crispy, incredibly meaty, and perfectly sauced-and-tossed wings, I had been craving a local option that was even slightly comparable. However, during my quest to find a Buffalo-esque Buffalo wing in Albany, what I found ’round these parts looked(and tasted) something closer to baby quail wings floating in a bucket of generic-brand wing sauce that was left in the back of the fridge for a few days. Juniors was a pleasant reminder of the Buffalo wing I’ve so dearly missed. I generally shy away from Juniors, daunted by the large college crowds. But school’s out for the summer and I was in need of some wings! It took a good ten minutes and several servers walking past me before someone offered to seat me. Apparently, I was not standing close enough to the hostess stand to indicate that I wanted to be seated(whoops!). However, the hostess eventually scored us a seat outside on their patio(after asking a few guys who were using the table just for beers to move to the bar so we could eat). Juniors has great outdoor seating — a nice patio facing Madison and an indoor-outdoor bar that gives the place a hint of a beach bar vibe. Service: three stars: Our waiter was nice, but she was distracted. It was about ten minutes before our order was taken, ten more until we got our beers, our waters didn’t come out until after our entrees, and the entrees themselves came out pretty slowly. A couple seated two minutes before us were served and finished their wings before we even got ours. I think our waiter had just too many tables to juggle. We weren’t in a rush, so the delay didn’t bother us much. Wings: four stars: the wings were not very meaty, but did excel where I’ve found many local joints to lack — the wings were actually crispy! I’ve had more rubbery, soggy, slimy-skinned wings in Albany-area establishments than I would care to mention(ugh). The crisp outside is just the way a wing should be, in my humble opinion. The sauce was on the money, too. We ordered medium, and tasted just as it should, like Frank’s Red Hot and Butter. Only thing I would have liked is for a just a few more carrots and celery sticks. Only three small carrots and three pretty wimpy pieces of celery. As someone who doesn’t use blue/bleu cheese, a couple more veggies would have been nice to balance the heat. I would have asked for more, but by the time our waiter got back to us, it wouldn’t have been worth it(wings largely gone by then). Fries, decent but pretty sure they were of the frozen variety. However, they were crisp on the outside, which is better than other places! There’s also a pretty good rotating beer selection with several summer options to sip while you enjoy your wings on the patio.

I went here last summer and as many others can attest the moonshine wings were truly remarkable. However I should also give a plug to the whiskey barrel wings, which I recall enjoying just as much if not more.

This is Websters definition of Albany dining… safe pub food for the Marty McGillicuddies. Sports on TV… It serves it’s purpose but there isnt anything unique about this place except for the bratty Long Island kids that frequent it.

Previously I had commented on slow service, but that issue has been fixed. All of their staff is friendly and attentive. I love their food(especially the California Chase burger and Ultimate Grilled Cheese). They have good fries, although I do miss their old fries. I like to dip them in their Russian dressing. They have good beer on tap, too, and, I love how they renovated the building.

What a fantastic menu and cute restaurant. Came here to visit my brother who went to UAlbany. He told me that this was the place to go to so we gave it a try. Upon walking in you could see it was very inviting, not just for the college crowd either. The restaurant was clean and put together, unlike some of the college dumps in the area. Smelled fantastic too! We had 6 people with us… so it was nice to see these HUGE booths available so we can all be seated comfortably. Very comfortably may I add, the booths were spacious and physically comfortable. I saw the menu and realized why people love this place. It was an American restaurant, but with many options for different palettes and occasions. You could make it a nice nice out and have a steak, or you can have some wings and watch the game with a few pals. I had a hard time choosing from a great menu. Of course we decided on 50 moonshine wings and a few other appetizers to all split. My brother was ranting and raving about the moonshine wings, and he was not lying. They sauce had a great sweet but savory quality that was right up my alley! They had a good amount of meat on them, and were cooked just right. We REALLY enjoyed those. Other appetizers were good, but did not compare to the wings. Our waitress was kind and always checking up on us. She brought two huge pitchers of waters to the table, which was awesome so we did not have to keep asking for water. Overall we just really had a great experience, and would love to come back next time I pay my brother a visit!
