We are new to the area and I’ve eaten here 3 times, 2 times for the standard dinner buffet and once for the Saturday seafood buffet… The staff is very friendly and attentive! Both buffets are limited in size, but had more than I expected. Both had the usual salad stuff and it was fresh and crisp, though I’m not much into it. I prefer the meat and potatoes and they did not disappoint! The fried chicken strips and fried livers are outstanding! With country ham’s limited availability in Cincinnati and my undying affinity for it, I was thrill to see it on the buffet. This is dangerous for their profitability and my health, but worth the angioplasty! I’m not a huge catfish lover, but theirs was prepared very well and quite tasty, the best I’ve had. The side items were the typical fare, but fresher than most buffets I’ve attended. Now for the deserts… On the buffet there was a generic banana pudding, not bad for its purpose, but not for me. BUT… They also had 7 varieties of homemade pies available and they are not to be missed! After taunting our waitress into recommending her favorite pie flavor I had the coconut cream. Take it from a fat guys who’s had his share of culinary treats, this was a worthwhile use of $ 2! So good, I took a whole pie back to my neighbor, $ 8 I think… Bottom line if you are looking to spend $ 8 on a fresh, very tasty meal in good company with a professional and friendly wait staff, You can’t beat it! I’ll be there often…
