Up until today, I had never been inside of a Carhartt location before. Maybe it’s irking me to pieces to say that the amount of money this business is making off of people really astounds me. Yes, I do like the turntable near the front of the store(that looks like one of those dry-cleaning turntables to find the exact product you’re looking for), but prices were pretty high. I just hope the quality of their products are surely to match. I couldn’t pull my expenses together to buy anything, but it got me in to see what it’s like. I never intercepted any employees for their appearance; although I don’t think I ever would have needed them, no one ever approached me nor did I see any other employee around to ask if anything is alright.(This experience gave me some mixed emotions about the Carhartt company.

Instant wood! I mean… there’s wood on the floors and walls. Look, I’m a slopfag. I wear carhartt and work clothes and my look is… rough around the edges. There are no designer clothing labels or trendy fashion forward items in my closet. That said I hadn’t been to crossgates in awhile and had no idea there was a carhartt store here! An entire store! Maybe I’m getting a little too excited? They have a very complete selection of everything carhartt. Coats, shirts, jeans, boots, belts, hats, socks… hell even wallets. They have many items that you wont find at Sears and the like. They also have a frequent shopper rewards program which could be dangerous. The staff is courteous and helpful but not overbearing and pushy.

Good service. We wandered in a few minutes before closing. They didn’t make us feel rushed. They didn’t have what we were looking for in the right size, so they brought us several different options. The salesgirl was really knowledgeable about the product. And she gave my boyfriend a discount that was on a special coupon that he had, but forgot to bring. Overall, a good experience.
