Jack In The Box

I usually come here since I work close by. The guy in drive thru Is nice and has great customer service skills but he was not having it today. I ordered a jumbo jack and let them know that I had a coupon for it. I drive up to the window and show them the coupon. He said there was 2 jumbo jacks as my order and I told him only 1 along with a large drink as stated on the coupon. He asks me if I wanted with cheese and I said yes. And then he turns around and says the coupon doesn’t come with cheese so of course I tell him that I don’t want cheese then. He tells the cooks no cheese on the jumbo jack. He already looks frustrated. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or he just doesn’t like coupons! Even though it’s close by I know not to present a coupon here!!!

I love this place every time. I come I always get greeted with a smile and with a nice cashier. but I love jaslynn she makes it happen and moves very fast she deserves a raise that how good she is. Thank you for have such good costumer service.

If there were an option for negative stars, I would happily select it. My friends and I tried going to the drive thru at around 2am today, hoping to grab some food for the ride back home. Instead we were completely ignored when waiting to order, and ignored when we drove up to the window to make sure they were open.
The drive thru window was wide open, and I could clearly hear at least 2 people gossiping in the back. When I called out asking if they were open, it seemed they didn’t hear me as they continued talking. When I projected my voice louder through the open window, they apparently finally heard me as they went suddenly quiet with no answer or acknowledgement. Almost as though they thought if they were quiet we wouldn’t know they had been talking amongst themselves for the past 5 minutes instead of paying attention to their jobs.
Because of this we had to go far out of our way to the Webster st. Jack In The Box who, unlike this sad excuse for a crew, were happy to assist us.

Usually, i do not write reviews for fast food restaurants but this time i felt compelled. Around 1:15 am Sunday morning, a couple of friends and I walked into the restaurant too get some late night food. I made sure to check what time they closed and noted that they closed at 2 am. When we entered, we were told that we would not be helped inside. And they didn’t care. The guy, who i assumed was the supervisor for the shift would not help and when i asked to speak to a supervisor, he simply walked away from me. Another worker came up just to tell me that they were short staffed and that they were not getting paid enough. I am not unreasonable. Had they put up a sign, apologizing for being short staff and that they were closing early, i would not be writing this review now. But because their hours of operations were clearly marked and their customer service so horrible, I took my business elsewhere and will no longer goo to any Jack chain… all because of this one experience.

Damm this place got expensive. I only really order for a quick breakfast on the go and that’s roughly $ 7 a meal. Nothings really $ 1 anymore here. The service is sometimes nice depending on whos at the drive thru window but majority of the time, it’s always someone cool. A-​ok

Horrible. Just went there and ordered a large soda, and practically the whole entire cup was just ice. Rip off. And they always mess up on my order

I arrived at the register and no one was in line but me and my Girlfriend. This should have been an easy order. 5 min after placing our order the manager approached us and wanted to look at our receipt because they forgot what we ordered. At this point I repeated my original order again which was No Bacon on my Blazin Chicken combo. After I got home and opened my sandwich I found a large pile of bacon on my sandwich. I am going to stop going to Jack restaurants due to terrible service!

0 stars for this place! I mean I get it’s fast food but I ordered a chicken strip meal with Curley fries and I got a boring turkey sandwich with half a container of French fries… ummmmmmm…

A few days ago, I ate at Jack in the box and I ordered food and I don’t understand the manager talk about food

Yeah they mess up orders a lot and I usually don’t mind but my wife really wanted the hashbrown so I went back and unlike a reviewer below, I found the manager to be nice, not rude. He apologized and gave me two hash browns for the inconvenience. Lately they have been over-​cooking the eggs in breakfast sandwiches.

I’ve never had an issue here or any j n b for that matter. They always have something new and I like that the offer their new product to you when you come through the drive through. My food is always hot, good and they always get everything right.

This review isn’t for the food — it’s Jack In The Box you know the food.
This for the well maintained, well run restaurant with a clean sitting area, nice décor and friendly, fast service. If you are going fast food in Alameda go to the Jack In The Box on Park Avenue.

–wondering why while waiting for food
saw the breakfast $ 1 menu, similiar «breakfast» burrito on it
lucky break for me. miscommunition in my favor.

The tacos and the breakfast sandwiches keep me coming back, roughly once a month (it IS fast food, after all). The monster taco is back, for a while anyway, and that’s not a bad way to take care of mid-​day munchies. This particular Jack’s is reasonably clean out in the dining area, and most of the staff is cheerful. Worthwhile stop for coffee and a Breakfast Jack in the early mornin’ hours. It’s just Jack-​in-​the-​Box, but it’s not bad …

Pros: Buttermillk dipping sauce for the fries, and the $ 0.99 tacos
Cons: Ghetto, junk food, bad for you (and me)
but I must say that when I have a craving, this is where I go. It’s a guilty pleasure that I’ll treat myself to when I’m feeling like some greasy, bad food.

One of the few fast food chains in Alameda. The only time we come here is when our nephew has the munchies.
Now, Jack In the Box has their munchie meals available after 9pm. I got to admit that it is a pretty good deal. Costed about $ 6 for the meal. There are a few choices to choose from. Each meal includes two tacos, fries, a 20oz fountain drink. We tried the stacked grilled cheeseburger.
Stacked grilled cheeseburger wasn’t bad (3 stars)
Tacos are good (3.5 stars) I’ve always liked the tacos (good price too)
Fries are okay (3 stars)
Service was slow and not focused on the customer so 2 stars. Restaurant was clean though (even with all the people around that evening).
Well, if you are craving some fast food in Alameda, then this is a good place to go to. It is especially a good place to visit if you have a teenager with a big appetite craving munchies after 9pm in the evening.

The only reason I’m leaving this review is because the guy taking my order didn’t bat an eye when I ordered 14 tacos, a fajita melt, medium curly friends (to share) and a regular Oreo shake for my drunk friends. At the order window, he just tells me that it’ll be a few minutes before my 14 tacos are ready. No sarcasm, no teasing smile.
Thank you for understanding that drunkies find your tacos even more intoxicating than alcohol and not laughing in our faces! I know I appreciated it, being the sober one doing the driving and ordering.
Sorry to have interrupted your New Year’s celebrations in the lobby though (because my friends were so desperate to get to the tacos, we pulled into the drive thru seriously at like 12:10AM)! It looked like you guys were having fun!

Clean, fast, lines shorter than Oakland. Good stuff. Food is on par with any other JITB. Haven’t had any horrific meals here, so it’s consistent which I like. I almost always get the ultimate cheeseburger or the sirloin burger. Much more worth it than anything I’d get at Mc’Ds.
