One of the best Chinese restaurant around! I’ve been here three times and each time it gets better and better. The staff and the owner are all so very nice, polite, and the service is fairly quick. My most recent visit I ordered the Pepper Steak and it was by far the BEST pepper steak I have ever had. I don’t ever eat the peppers but the sauce and how well they cooked the peppers was excellent. Not a bite went to waste. Their egg drop soup is delicious and you can even get sake here! If you’re looking for some great Chinese in town, I highly recommend Panda House!

This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to! I’ve never liked Chinese food, until I tried this place. The General Tso’s chicken & sweet & sour chicken are so good! I would highly recommend trying this place out!

The lemongrass chicken(Thai) is so addicting I start thinking about it way before I get there. It is made from fresh ingredients, the vegetables are nice and crunchy and the sauce tastes like it was made from scratch(and perfectly flavored, not too spicy but exotic tasting). I ignore the egg rolls at other places but the egg rolls here are rapidly eaten.

What an AWESOME surprise! My husband and I were in Alabaster on business and we came to Panda House for dinner on a whim because it is so close to our hotel. The place had very few customers which sometimes can be a sign that the food wasn’t that good. The restaurant was very clean and the décor was very nice, not what you expect in a strip mall. This place reminded my husband and I of our favorite Chinese restaurant at home that closed :-(So we were hoping that the food would be good. The customer service was great very friendly and checked on us often. We ordered the fried shrimp for an appetizer, which were really good. My husband ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp which he really enjoyed. I ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein, which I loved! I had not had Lo Mein this good since our favorite restaurant closed. Overall wonderful experience. If I never get to come back to Alabaster Alabama I would be sad because this food is definitely worth the trip!

I have gotten take out from here countless times but today I dined in for the first time. I was impressed. Their family dinner special is amazing and worth it. So delicious and filling! Even had leftovers. They were so helpful and friendly with my toddler too, despite his *outgoing* personality. Definitely recommend this place!

The best chinese and thai spot around here! Everything is great… Egg drop soup is the best I’ve ever had. Thai tea is tasty and not too sweet. Coconut soup is delish. General tso chicken is perfect. I could go on forever. And the prices are so reasonable. The lunch specials are only about six bucks! And to boot, the service is excellent.

Had lunch with my family today. Overall very impressed. We started off with the Cheese Stars as an appetizer. They are basically fried wontons with a sweet cream cheese filling. They were excellent. My wife and I both had the Egg Drop Soup. I like my soup very hot. Therefore, it could have been a little warmer for me. My wife was fine with the temp. The soup was good. Our egg rolls were average. For our entrees my wife had the Sweet and Sour Shrimp and she thought it was the best she ever had. I had the General Tso’s and I thought it was the best I ever had. Our daughters ordered off of the kids menu and had the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Fried Shrimp. They both come with one side. They both enjoyed their selections. Overall great dining experience. The quality and value you receive with the lunch menu pricing is hard to beat.

This is the best Chinese I’ve had in years. White meat chicken that was crispy not greasy. Fresh, hot, and delicious. The lunch specials are really good. Crab Rangoon full of flavor and fresh. The wontons for the egg drop soup were fresh not old and stale. I was thoroughly impressed. 2 people are lunch with the extremely affordable lunch specials with appetizer for less than 20.00 before tip.

We have been looking for a really good Chinese Restaurant after our favorite one changed locations. Panda House is very close to the restaurant we used to frequent. I had the Crab Rangoons, Sesame Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein. It was excellent, non greasy and fresh tasting. Their sweet tea was sweet and exactly how I like it. I’m from the South and sweet tea is our ‘house wine’. We are going back soon.

I’ve eaten a lot of Chinese food my favorite is sesame chicken I hate when you get hard dried out pieces. Panda house was pretty decent only a few pieces were hard. But other than that pretty good but not as good as Zous in Helena !!

I would have never imagines that this place would be so good. The smells and taste are very authentic. Great place for new Thai food lovers, and of course great Thai Tea!!. The service was great and the owner too time to explain the menu. Will be coming back the next time we visit Alabaster.

As someone who has eaten at very good Chinese Food restaurants in California I have to put Panda House at the very top of my favorite Chinese food places ever. Their hand made Dumplings had an amazing flavor and texture. The appetizer of 6 Large Fried Breaded Shrimp was excellent. The Sizzling Rice Soup was full of shrimp and was very tasty. At $ 4 the kids meals are an excellent value, we ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken which had white meat inside which made me happy. For the main course we ordered Orange Chicken and the Teriyaki Shrimp. The Orange Chicken was made with white meat as we requested and it was wonderful. I could tell they used fresh orange peel zest to flavor it. The Shrimp Teriyaki had sliced green and red peppers and had sliced onions which made for a very flavorful meal. The Chinese Tsingtao beer was an excellent value at $ 3.25 a bottle. What stood out to me was not just the excellent food served at Panda House, but the excellent guest service. Our server took the time to make sure our order was exactly the way we wanted it. She also followed up with us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. I could tell she really cares about her guests. Although I live 35 minutes away from Panda House, it is definitely worth the drive. I can’t wait to go back.

Since the place that delivers closed this is now my favorite spot. The food is fresh and always eye pleasing. Take out or dine in this is a great place out of the 5 Asian restaurants in town

Being an Alabamian, I don’t really know what authentic Chinese food is If its what I just ate at the Panda House, I say bring it on. We were stopping to eat Japanese at Mizu next door and bc of the long wait stumbled on this restaurant. The Panda House did many things well tonight. All of their offerings are off of the menu and were fresh! Not something I am accustomed to in other restaurants. Even the children’s portions were freshly prepared! Very satisfied. We had the Dragon/Phoenix and my husband got Seafood Thai style. Both were very good.
