This is my absolute go-to breakfast place. There are a lot of reasons, but first and foremost, they know how to cook eggs. It is amazing how many places do not understand that not all fried eggs are ‘over-easy’…there is a difference. Second is service. This is the kind of place where they do not let your coffee get empty. The servers are all friendly and attentive. They also care about their customers and know many on a first name basis. Their sausage is to die for as well as their pancakes. But, it doesn’t stop there. Their lunch menu is fantastic as well, and their soups are all amazing. I am not a soup person, but any time I have lunch there, I order soup. Pro-tip: their chicken salad and tuna salad is made to-order, not in advance. Stop by; you won’t be sorry.

We went for Sunday breakfast and it was great. There was no wait, fast service and the food was wonderful. I had pancakes and eggs, but everything looked so good. All of the servers were very friendly. I will be back again soon!

Its a nice place, food is okay, nothing to write home about. What I dont like is that dont give you enough food. I orderd breakfast one morning and when they brought it out ithought it was a kids meal! Parking is horrible! I went there one day to get my kids meal and it was a line out the door the place is too small. The line was because you have senior citizens in ther that just sit & talk. Like isaid its ok, nothing to get all worked up about.

I very rarely give a 5 start rating but this place is the exception. I was very impressed with the food, service and overall experience. The décor could use updating but I was not there for the décor. I am VERY fussy with my eggs. 99% of the time I send them back to be cooked again. I like my eggs soft but not runny. I ordered Biscuits and sausage gravy with scrambled eggs and bacon. The eggs were PERFECT — soft but not runny. The bacon crisp but not hard and the sausage gravy was like grandma made. David had the pancakes and eggs. He said that the pancakes were the best he’s had in forever and again the eggs were perfect. This is our new«go to» breakfast restaurant.

Ordered pancakes, eggs, and home fries. Coffee was hot and always refilled, service was prompt and courteous. Food came out fast, and while the eggs could have been darker to be considered«well done», they weren’t runny at least. The home fries were decent and crispy, but the pancake was one of the BEST I’ve ever had. Would come back just for the pancakes!

Was looking for something that wasn’t pricy like the hotel breakfast. What I found was a cute little place with great food! My second time back the folks treated me like one of the regulars and wished me a great day by name! Can’t wait to go back tomorrow! Thanks Dan and company!!!

Stopped here because of the good reviews. Husband said«it’s the best breakfast I’ve had in a while.» He loved the bacon and potatoes. I enjoyed my omelet and biscuit. Facility is very clean. The ladies room, while definitely older, was clean and quaint. Greeted instantly and service was fast and prompt.

M. This was off the beaten path the meal and service was low-key. The current trend of restaurants are geared towards a unique dining experience. The days of home style marginal quality cooking at a premium price may not interest the average customer. D. Taste 7, portion size 7, execution and technique 7, price 9, service 6. Would go back. Over all good.(1 ug, 10 this is the place)

Coming from a soccer tourney in Lodi, we Unilocaled this place. Decided to stop in. Cute little neighborhood café. I got the Reuben and it was very good. Sausage was homemade. Pancakes were very good. Glad we stopped

Love it! Food was yummy. Cooked the way I like! So thrilled I came. Pancakes were melt in your mouth! Get here before it fills up. I was here by 930 on a Sunday. By 10 it was packed!

First time at this cute little diner and we will likely be back. It’s a great spot if you want a nice home cooked breakfast without the frills. The food came out fast and was hot and tasty. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and tidy. Our breakfast for two came in at a whopping $ 16! I can certainly see myself being the kids here when I’m not feeling the desire to cook myself.

Julian’s is still my favorite breakfast spot! I went in on Saturday morning and tried the spinach, mushroom, and cheese omlette special and it was amazing! The staff are all so sweet and friendly and I love how they all have pink Julian’s t-shirts; so cute! I always see a mix of ages and races in Julian’s and it’s so nice that we can all be there together enjoying our meals in peace.

If you, like me, constantly lament the death of the neighborhood diner, then go to Julian’s. I went this morning for the first time(thank you Unilocal), and it’s a great little neighborhood place. Nothing fancy, and the only 1 star ding I gave it was for the food. While very tasty, a little flat here and there. Full disclosure though — I was by myself, only had one dish and really feel bad sounding like one of «yelpers» who think they’re a food critic. The place is pretty small and I love the sound of silverware clinking against sturdy white diner plates. I also love that the clientele was diverse, reflecting the neighborhood. And while Browns flags were prominently displayed, two of the servers had on Steelers jerseys, lol! And there weren’t any fights!!! Seriously, this is a throw-back diner with food to match. Good service and a diner atmosphere. As long as you’re not expecting Blue Door when you walk in, you’ll love it. Oh — the best part — the sign on the front door that said: «Julia’s customers comfort and enjoyment come first. We are asking you to quite your child or children. If noise and screaming persist you will be asked to leave.»

I’m new in the area and was looking for a early break fast joint. Julians was a great stop. If you are looking for home style breakfast mom and pop shop definitely stop by here. The staff and services here was great. Me and girlfriend ordered waffles and biscuit sausage gravy. Waffles was perfect, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. The biscuit was fluffy and had a hence of sweetness while the sausage gravy pulled everything together. Definitely will stop by again.

The service was amazing as soon as we walked in. It definitely has a welcoming feel to it, like a mom and pop restaurant which I love. The place is clean and neat. The breakfast was so delicious! I was in the mood for sausage gravy and biscuits and this place definitely delivered the flavor! Not only was it full of real flavor with every bite, it was very affordable!!! I am so pleased with this restaurant and will recommend it to people in the area!!! Thanks guys for this mouth watering experience!!!

Four stars for price. 3 for food. With breakfast running $ 7 – 8 it’s nice to get something decent for $ 5. This is absolutely standard breakfast fare. It’s tasty but it’s not a culinary event. I don’t think it’s supposed to be though.
