We were remodeling our living room, and needed carpet. We had a tight budget, but enough to do the entire room. We shopped at the big box stores and knew we would not be getting the premium carpet, but we had enough for some lower end carpets available. We decided we wanted to patronize a local business and went to Barrington Carpet in Green. A woman greeted us at the door and we immediately felt like we made a mistake. She was dressed to the nines, very high class. The store gave the high class impression also. When we told her how much we had to spend she showed us the cheapest racks and then left us on our own. We were treated like we were not good enough to shop there, and that they didn’t care about our business. We left to go to another local store which treated us like we were the most important customers they had, regardless of how much we had to spend.
