I’ve known Dr. Yamamoto ever since I started rocking my nerd shades back in 7th grade. I see this guy once a year but he never skips a beat on what’s going on in my life. It’s like this guy takes notes or something! But that’s what I like about him, he doesn’t ask me generic office fodder and nod away without listening. This guy really cares about my life! Funny thing is he told me I need to stop seeing a pediatrician… «what’s wrong with a 26 year old who can’t let go of his pediatrician» I asked. He gave me the run down… I just got scolded by my eye doctor. I like this guy’s frank honesty and I like how he shares his personal life with me as well. His children are about my age and I guess that’s what helps him relate to me. His secretary always knows who I am as well, whether I’m calling over the phone or just dropping by to get my glasses adjusted. Even SHE knows my life in general. This small town feeling is great! You can’t fake service like this, I make it a point to see them every year(not only because I’m going blind and I love my glasses) but because of the great service I get year after year!
