Yum, the Mochi from here is delicious! The Ohagi and Sakura Mochi(two to a pack) — these have perfect texture, amount of sweetness and beans. The regular Daifuku — the Mochi is soft but really sweet — good with hot tea. For the donuts — They’re so cute but I’d rather eat the Mochi.

Peanut butter mochi– soft, not too sweet, freshly made. Like to get a tray when we’re at the mall because I get lazy to make my own. Often only one employee, sometimes it’s the woman making the mochi so you have to wait for her to clean her hands before she can help you. Prices reasonable for soft, fresh mochi.

It seems that this shop is very mixed – its going to be give or take whether you get something awesome or not accordng to the reviews, but both times I’ve come so far, my treats were on point. Location is great, of course, it’s in the middle of the mall path in the downtown side of pearlridge. It looks really clean and seems to be managed okay. I wasnt too happy that I had to pay cash but this is the closest most convenient place for me to get coffee jello(which I am addicted to btw.) Also, the service was very nice. I’m not sure if it’s the same lady everyone else gets but this lady seemed very kind – a bit shy(or maybe I was talking too soft so she couldn’t hear) but other than that she smiled and nodded when I told her my coffee jello story lol. I know it’s give or take but you should give it a try if you happen to see something you like. That’s a bit of the fun of life isn’t it?

Sorry would love to tell you about the wonderful looking things in this store but the person working here today was too busy playing on her phone to even look up at us. She simply sat on the freezer playing on her phone, I know is a little unfair to base a bad reviews of a business on one bad employee. … Maybe I’ll give them another chance another day to redeem themselves.

Doughnuts shaped into cute Animal shapes. Who can resist? Not me obviously. I first discovered the animal doughnuts at the old 99 ranch market now called Moanaloa 99. Check out my lengthy review for more info about the doughnuts:
Location: It’s a kiosk in the Pearlridge downtown location. It’s near the rental strollers, Fun Factory, and Book Off. What: Besides cute doughnuts this place sells mochi. Not just your plain olé mochi. Mochi filled with strawberry, peanut butter(yummy), beans, ice cream, etc. It’s made fresh and this little kiosk. It’s delish, trust me. $$$$$$ Bring Cash Honey $$$$$$ If you forgot there is an American Savings Bank ATM near the escalator and a Bank Of Hawaii ATM in Longs down stairs. Service I have always received good service here. They are able to explain the product they sell. Got good recommendations by the workers. They are polite and courteous. Hours: mall hours Monday-Friday 10 am — 9 pm Sunday 10 am — 6 pm I prefer this location over the Moanaloa location. Better hours, better service, and more parking.

Yukiichigo was delicious until I found a hair. And they don’t have an exchange or return policy. Very disappointed. Especially because I was refused a refund or exchange. They lost business forever.

How can you ever turn down mochi? There are so many ways to flavor it, each one has its own time and place in your day. However, I somehow need to justify this treat with a healthy reason. Therefore, all hail the fresh strawberry mochi! I thought it was reasonably priced when I compare it to Made in Hawaii Foods. I do believe Made In Hawaii has perfected the art of the fresh strawberry mochie and its variations, but Kansai’s was equally satisfying. Cash only here folks. Buy your cookies at the corner with a card to save the $ 5 for mochi.

sThe peanut better mochi here is the best. They also have red bean as well as green tea mochi. But try to go early as they do sell out of some items depending on how busy they get.
