Floyd M. Tanoue, DDS

Dr. Tanoue is always very friendly. He explains everything that he is about to do. When getting a filling done, he gives enough numbing agent to keep you from feeling it. He also takes into consideration the cost of the procedure you are having done, and keeps you informed. I think that’s very helpful.

Woo hoo! Seriously speaking. I have stopped looking for a dentist after all these decades. I’ve been to many other dentist who claimed that they were gentle, especially when administering novocaine and to my disappointment it still hurt and felt very uncomfortable to the point of making up my mind that I was never going back there.
I did’t think it was possible at all to not suffer pain until my sister introduced me to Dr. Floyd Tanaoue. Woo hoo!
I am so impressed by the way Dr. Tanoue takes his extreme time when administering novocaine and how gentle and caring he really is. REALLY, he does show compassion to patients like me. Action speaks louder then words.
The staff is great as well and his lovely wife who every time I have an appointment takes the time from her busy business to talk to me and make me feel welcome. They are all so friendly, humble and professional. I love my dentist. I find myself saying «amazing» after being administered with novocaine.

So I went to the dentist today. Tucked away on Floor 5 in the Aiea Medical Building, this office is a small, friendly office. I have been coming here all my life and I will be coming here for years to come.
The Doc and his team are very accommodating and clean teeth well. Lots of pictures on the ceiling always give me something to look at when cheerful banter doesn’t keep my preoccupied THAT SHARP OBJECTS ARE IN MY MOUTH.
I must say that my favorite part of this whole experience is the communication. They call when they have an earlier opening in addition to reminder calls when your appointment is approaching.
