Stairs And Trim

I had Stairs and Trim do a fairly tricky crown molding job at my house. It was vaulted ceilings and weird angles but they were able to make it look amazing. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up everything after they were done. Highly recommend!

I called Stairs and trim to have my Staircase replaced with wrought Iron banisters. Kevin was great, he gave me a good quote and did the job as promised, on time and beautiful. I would recommend him to anyone who needs any type of staircase work done.

Kevin’s work is amazing! He is responsive, professional and knowledgeable about millwork. One of the things I appreciated most was that he quoted us a price and never added any additional fees. Kevin and his partner finished the job in less than two days and we have been getting compliments ever since then! I would definitely have Kevin come out for another project.

Kevin and his partner did a beautiful job installing the inner and outer skirt on our remodeled stairway … I knew exactly what I wanted and that made it that much smoother in terms of the process. Also, when my wife pushed me to see if Kevin could do any better on the price, Kevin was willing to work with us. I highly recommend his services.

We just moved to Westlake Village from Northern CA and we purchased a home that had double ovens but they were only 27″ (too small for us) and no microwave. We ended up buying a double oven with a microwave that was 30″. The kitchen cabinets now needed to be retro fitted to accommodate the larger ovens. There were two pantries to the side of the existing oven that needed to be modified in order to do this. At first we thought it was a simple job — buy new doors that matched the rest of the cabinets. I was also worried that the pantry cabinets would look to small after downsizing them in order to fit the ovens.
Our particular cabinets doors were IMPOSSIBLE to find. Kevin was able to modify the existing doors in order to make this project work for us. This is not as easy as it sounds — the doors were old (in good shape) but not your standard cabinet door. There was a lot of detail work that had to be done in order to make the cabinets work. Kevin made the new modified doors look PERFECT. AND — They don’t look too narrow which as mentioned before was a huge concern. You’d never know all the work that Keven and his crew had to do to make these work. They look beautiful.
I’d also like to note that Kevin and his crew are SUPER courteous. I have a 23 month old whom they were very aware of and considerate to. The project took very little time, as they worked all day every day completing as much as possible each day and each day they COMPLETELY cleaned up the mess — knowing that they were just going to make it all over again the next day. Again, this was so nice as we were able to live in our house and not be bothered with the mess after hours.
Oh, if you need a painter he also works with an amazing painter, Oswaldo who does a fantastic job.
Kevin also redid a few closets and created a new pantry for us out of what was a wet bar. These jobs were perfect as well.
We plan to redo our staircase in the future as well and I won’t even look around for bids or another contractor. Kevin with Stairs & Trim made a tedious job seem simple and made it painless for us. I would highly recommend Stairs & Trim!
