The best!!! I go out of my way to go here. The best pizza in the area I have not had a better pizza. You will get a nice brick oven pizza with a thinner crust than most. I get the barbecue chicken pizza every time we order a few. A small shop that put a lot of time and effort into their food and you can taste the difference.

Pizza guy? More like pizza God. Crust– light, crispy, perfect. Sauce flavor and distribution was impeccable. Just the right amount of cheese and the toppings you ask? Heavenly. I felt as if the Pizza guy was floating above the room as I watched him take it out of the brick oven. Its pizza guys world and were all just living in it. A must stop if you’re within 200 miles of agawam.

This is my new fav pizza place. We just recently started ordering from here and its perfect. So far we have only tried the combo pizza, its so good we haven’t tried another type yet. But its thin and cooked perfectly, not too doughy or saucy, the veggies are soooooo fresh and flavorful, you taste them amazingly in every bite. The pizza is perfect! Only thing i can find wrong is the fact that my son and I can basically house a large one down, but I’d like to believe its because its soo darn good and we are such pizza junkies lol

Love this brick oven pizza place! The pizza crust is thin and crispy, and they use fresh ingredients– you can smell the fresh basil when you step into the shop.

The pizza was comparable to Dominos and the«boneless wings» are chicken tenders. Awful.

My son, the pickiest eater on the planet, asked to eat here because this place had his favorite pizza. Although you can’t sit down, you walk into this beautiful brick oven pizza place and they have an artistic way of rolling out dough, beautiful patterns to the way that they place each of the items on the pizza, and they have been voted best pizza several times in the area. Since there are no inside tables, they do have delivery or outside tables. The home– made sauce is also super delicious and not too garlicky. For those that like something a little different, they now have a bourbon barbecue sauce pizza, and some other combination of a pizza that looked like it could burn a hole in your table it had so many hot ingredients on there. So, hole the wall pizza place, large-scale taste.

Pizzas are always amazing. I love the Broccoli Chicken Alfredo pizza. The portions for fries are very small. The boneless wings are ok. Grinders are delicious. The prices are high for Pizza, but worth it if it’s just going to be for a few people. Don’t get a large pizza here expecting to feed more than 4 hungry people.

It’s a really small place that has a brick oven. The brick oven creates GREAT pizza. The people are friendly behind the counter. I’ll go back soon because good pizza is all over the place. Great pizza is hard to find.

The Pizza Guy pizza is delicious!!! It’s the only place my family orders pizza from in the area. Their pizza is not like any other place around, it’s thin crust, and not greasy at all. Some of the ingredients come directly from the garden out back right to the pizza!(basil, peppers, etc) This place is popular though, so call ahead if you’re ordering on a weekend night!

Really good, fresh tasting pizza. Live the sauce. Friendly service. This place is worthy of the hype. And worth a drive, even if you don’t live in agawam.

We recently order pizza from here and it was quite good. We got the medium combo pizza and it came with peppers, onions, sausage, and pepperoni. It was also thin crust and the crust was cooked to perfection. Some of the reviews comment that the sauce was sweet and that there was a lack of cheese, but I did not think so. The sauce was not sweet in my opinion and i appreciated eating a pizza that was not drenched in mounds of greasy cheese. It was the perfect amount!

Nice thin crust pizza, well cooked, not soggy in the least. Ask them to add fresh basil and it will be just like the pizzas we ha in Naples just a month back. They have my business for sur!,

I don’t understand the negative reviews at all. There isn’t another pizza restaurant in the area that even compares to the Pizza Guy. The crust is new haven style-thin, chewy and slightly charred in areas. The toppings are minimalistic and the sauce/cheese ratio is just right. If you want large cheap portions, a doughy crust, overly sweet sauce and massive amounts of cheese, then this isn’t the place for you. There are a ton of those types of places in the area: tollis, peppos, liquoris, Nicky’s etc. Those places fill the typical pizza niche but the Pizza Guy is a completely different type of pizza.

The pizza Guy is a winner! Ingredients aren’t sliding all over the pizza and theres isn’t a hint of grease on the cardboard box. Its brick oven cooked but barely any charred pieces… wife had a veggie personal pizza which she loved… my son and I had a large with hamburger, pepperoni and sausage. Not a ton of ingredients… but just the right amount. Crust is thin and tasty… its a very small restaurant… slightly off the beaten track… but worth finding. Springfield newspapers voted it BEST pizza in the pioneer valley and now i know why!

if you like brick oven pizza, you’ve got to try this place. we live in st louis, but whenever we visit my parents in w springfield, we always order here. very close to bertuccis in west side, which we also love. and california pizza kitchen here in st louis, but slightly different than them both. we order the white pizza, fried dough and 1 other pizza. unlike bertuccis, this place delivers late night. they are usually very busy, and the owner is super down to earth. we dont like brick oven pizza loaded up with ingreidents as it can get soggy and we like to taste the crust. the crust had a nice charred finish. probably not the cheapest pizza, but we don’t care, the freshness and the taste are well worth the price.

We have a few different pizza shops in our takeout rotation, and The Pizza Guy is certainly one of our faves. The best part? Their thin, crisp crust. Get pizza from some other places around here and the center is often a soggy, greasy, floppy mess. But that doesn’t happen here. We recently moved to West Side from Agawam, but we still make the trek over the train tracks to get the occasional BBQ Chicken or Meatball specialty pizzas. They’re worth the trip.

Very disappointing! We flew out from California to visit family in Western Massachusetts. We’d read about The Pizza Guy winning«best pizza in Western Mass» and because we were staying in Agawam we saved our«East coast pizza night» to try them out. Pizza is SO much better on the East Coast … usually. We ordered a cheese, mushroom, and onion pizza. Large by any standards in Agawam us usually huge(see Nicki’s pizza). Their large was just enough for 4 people, barely. But that’s OK because it wasn’t anything special. The sauce was very bland, not much cheese, the crust was thin and tasteless … all around it was a huge disappointment. If you live in Agawam, stick to the pizza you already know is tasty. If you are flying out from the West Coast, don’t waste your one chance to have amazing East coast pizza on The Pizza Guy. We can’t figure out how they won this contest!
