this is a neat little place off the beaten path, Both the food and service were very good but the hashbrowns were off the chart, I will come back just to order a plate of these. The grill is adjacent to the dining area so everything is open to view, dinner and a show. The dining area is small so I imagine it could get crowded during rush, I was there for a late B-fast 900 so the early rush had left and the place was still full, but that didn’t effect the service although the staff was working like crazy to keep up. We were immediately seated although I can imagine that there may be periods where you will have to wait, of course they have the obligatory bar and stools if you don’t need a table. Only one complaint, and I am definitely nit picking, could have been faster with the coffee refill of course after 4 cups I probably didn’t need any more so maybe the waitress did my heart a favor. Large portions good service and good price, I’ll be back

Great local spot, better for 4 customers or less, good atmosphere, good food, great workers, if the parking on the side and back is full, it just might be inside

Just plain good food! The Tip Top is nothing fancy and it doesn’t claim to be, but there’s plenty of variety to the menu and everything is good.(Personal favorite: the blueberry pancakes.) The staff is always friendly. It’s a popular place so the tables can fill up pretty fast, but if you’re eating alone or just want a quick bite, you can always sit up at the bar. One quick note — be sure to bring cash since they don’t take credit cards.

I LOVED Zelda’s and used to go there all the time for their great sandwiches and amazing soup. They were always busy but then one day, out of the blue, they closed up. I’d love to know if they quit the business or just moved it.

Nice small town café with regulars who frequent the place often. Family type feel. Most on first name basis. I ordered Breakfast Special with eggs, sausage and hash browns with Louisiana Hot Sauce. Yum.

Eh. Just okay. I came in with my family for Sunday breakfast and I was turned off from coming again because of the extremely long wait for pancakes and eggs… I watched and saw 3 tables that arrived after we did were served before us. The wait for pancakes and omelets was just a bit absurd. We waited 35 or 40 min to be served. I know this is a nice little small town café but still, they were NOTTHAT busy… and I know it doesn’t take that long to cook breakfast food. The pancakes were good and the others said their omelets were good but if this is how long we have to wait — I will go elsewhere. It does have the charm of a small town café where I saw a a nicely dressed gentleman show the waitress pictures of his grandchildren from his wallet(aww) :) But it is a crowded small space and can get pretty warm in the summertime. Overall, I guess if you want to risk waiting 40 min for breakfast it tastes fine — but nothing out of the ordinary.
