This company was great to work with. I placed my order through Home Depot and every interaction with Lindsay(Project Manager) was very positive. The gentleman who came out to measure was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. The installers where very professional and efficient. I was very impressed with The Countertop Factory!

I had a great experience with this company. They were totally professional, courteous, on time, and provided a quality finished product. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am an Interior Designer that is often looking for the best quality and value for my client. I always turn to The Countertop Factory first thing. They accurately put the design together to show how the slab of quartz, granite or marble, etc will be used up. They have great suggestions and have done so many jobs that they will previously have done exactly what you ask for. TCF has loads of remnants as well which makes the cost for your client go down. Instead of paying for a whole slab of quarts or stone, you only pay for what you use. Everything always looks so great when it is done!

Just received a call, promising they will deliver the countertops tonight within an hour. Lol it’s a guessing game. Will they or will they NOT show up? I bet they don’t. I will update in an hour. They are here!!! It’s a miracle! Great work guys, two months late but we may be able to have Thanksgiving this year!

Purchased a quartz countertop through a kitchen package at Ikea. Buyer BEWARE! Going into the 7th week now(since measurements were taken) and I’m still waiting for the counter install to be completed. 3 delays do to broken pieces and inncorrect measurements. I had to be away from work on 3 occasions to be home to meet the installers. Now, another week of delays and yet another day away from work. That, plus the time the apartment is not rented ends up costing us more than the value of the counter. And they don’t seem to care. Communication is poor and messages go unreturned. Either they are overwhelmed and ill-prepared or just don’t give a crap. I think it’s a little of both. An incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I will seek out another place for my next project.

Don’t bother with these jokers. Save the headaches and hassles. From their machines breaking down to them not being able to cut slabs properly or find your address for installation they are a joke. If I could give a –1 I would. We waited 6 weeks already and I’m including pictures of out half counter and no counter. This was contracted through the Home Depot so if you go there demand someone else for the countertops.

My experience mirrors the other reviewers here. Countertop Factory has contracts with several big box stores(Home Depot, IKEA) for fabrication/installation. So I presume they rely on volume to make their money. Their customer service and project management is awful, communication terrible, quality control non-existent. First, just about every fabricator in the area will quote you 7 – 10 days between measure and install. Some will do it faster. CF quoted me two weeks, but actually took over 4 weeks before my(standard and widely available) quartz counters were installed(this after a long delay for the measure, and one missed appointment by their guy who was«stuck in traffic» and couldn’t make it). Trying to get a hold of anyone, scheduling, or communicating with anyone there is a full-time job in itself. I’d think long and hard before using them if you actually need your counter – say, to have a functioning sink. Even worse, while the install wasn’t terrible, there were several mistakes: 2 pieces joined by a seam are out of plane, and the last piece of counter slopes down toward the wall The edge of the seam was not cleaned or polished, so it looks terrible They almost installed one of the pieces in the wrong position, until I caught it – luckily before the silicone had dried! They didn’t mount the sink correctly They left the overhang covered in ink They left a stain on the counter from the suction cup they used I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 for three reasons: 1) Their measurement was precise, and we didn’t have any issue with fit(well, the installers did have to shave off a bit of a tricky notch piece, but other than that, they did a good job) 2) They did bring 4 guys to bring the stone up to the second floor 3) The guy who did the installation(Fernando, I think) seemed to take his time to mix the epoxy and join the pieces at the seam well(he must have forgotten about the edge, mentioned above) — they do use gorilla grips However, just like the reviewer below, they called to follow up on installation, asked me to send pictures of the problems, which I did… and then they proceeded to completely ignore my emails and calls. It’s been three weeks, four emails, two voice mails, and still nothing. The mark of a shoddy business.

Countertop Factory contracts with Ikea Schaumburg for installation of their quartz(Caesarstone) counters. Our experience with this has been very dissatisfactory and this review is to warn anyone buying counters through Ikea to expect to have to micromanage your installation. At measurement, our cabinets were perfectly installed and no issues were found. Over a week later after hearing no update, we followed up with Ikea and found that Countertop Factory had not input the measurements correctly and had we not called, materials would not have been ordered. This was rectified and materials were ordered. Countertop Factory is very poor at follow ups and responding to emails, when we finally called again over a week later(due to emails that were not answered) we learned that materials would arrive roughly 2 weeks after they were ordered. I’m not sure if this is typical but regardless, it would be another at least 7 days out for installation after the materials arrive and no, they would not preschedule us. At this point we’ll be well over a month without counters due to an error on Countertop Factory’s part and unwillingness to plan ahead. Most of this has been learned because we had to chase them down for status. I don’t recommend you hire them on your own and if you have no choice(Ikea) know you need to stay on top of them. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

I’ve been working with the countertop factory via Home Depot(and that may be the big issue) however; here is a rundown of my experience so far. I ordered my «stock» countertop on Freb. 23. I was given a contract that I had to sign that had some terms and conditions and also included a installed by date of March 25th. It is now April 14th and still no countertop. Nothing fancy about my order it was just a countertop no removal no cabinets to wait for easy install. I have left a message for just about everyone a the countertop factory given every single time I call they tell me someone new that I need to talk to, Kimberly, Rose, Samantha, Peter. to name a few. The home depot has been 100% useless and should probably take most of the blame. Final thought … Go direct maybe you will have a better experience or just simply use someone else, I called around to other local countertop stores and they told me 4 weeks is a ridiculous timeline for my type of order 5 days would be standard. So save yourself some time… use another company
