Sherlock’s Baker St Pub

Great place to meet people; Great place for singles and couples. Food on the other hand I am not a fan of and I have eaten there several times. I don’t eat there anymore. But other than that, it’s a fun place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night.

Whenever I’m in Addison, me and a few friends always stumble by Sherlock’s. It’s a low-​key place that tends to get packed full like a club but without the club vibe– hope that makes sense. There are usually tons of people here whenever I go (Thursday, Friday, Saturday.) and the crowd is usually pretty friendly and social. Also, it’s a mixed crowd full of professionals and locals so you won’t feel out of place if you’re rolling solo. I think this place could be a little more lively if there was a certain time of night where maybe they let some dance music loose but hey, it’s still alright. The live music/​cover band vibe is fine but some nights, after a long day at work, you need to dance! LOVE that there’s no smoking inside like a few other places in the area because my baby lungs can’t stand cigarette smoke. There are usually live bands that play here and one time I could swear there was karaōke but who can really tell when you’re elbow deep in a plate of hot wings (which were really good btw). Overall, it is definitely a pub with pub food, pub games, and pub atmosphere so if you’re like me, this will just be the first stop to drink and socialize before going somewhere else to dance and finish off the night.

I love this place… Food and Service is great. Overall very happy with them.

The spot is divided into three places: Dance Hall, Irish Pub and a patio… overall, it is a great late nigh, post movie — dinner spot or just a place to hang and drink beer and socialize.
I would have enjoyed it better with a group.

Who charges $ 7 a shot… spent $ 100 and didn’t get anything out of it. Fun place but they have unrealistic prices.

Typical Addison bar. Service is decent. What I loved about my recent visit is that they have my current favorite beer on tap… and it is hard to find. I’ll go back for that!

The bands are always good. Good food and the people are friendly. I like the patio outside and the dance floor is a plus. Lol. Always a good time. Lov lov lov it.

I actually like this place way more than Social House across the street. The drink prices are reasonable, and the service is quite a bit better. However, some of the bar tenders aren’t the friendliest. The scene is usually a little barren. So if you’re looking for the ladies I’d go to Social House. However, for Halloween it was awesome, and even though their 80s cover band was obviously lip singing, after a few drinks who cares? I rocked out pretty hard and had a blast. They have good beer specials and make a comfortable environment for just hanging out with some friends. The place is huge too. No worries about it being over crowded. There’s always more room right around the corner. All in all, a pretty good hang out spot.

Let me start with the food. It was okay. The sweet potato fries were good. Not the best that I have had, but good. The chicken and the salad I had was just okay. My food did take a little while to get to me and they weren’t very busy.
However it was a very interesting place to visit and I don’t imagine that most go here for the food (I have only had one meal here). It’s a pub. It looks like a fun place to hang out and have a few beers and eat something while you are there. There are dart boards, seating inside, outside, and at the bar. Also you can probably catch the game on TV while you are there.
My waitress was great. She checked on me regularly and was friendly.
All in all, not a bad experience. Better tasting food would have gotten 5 stars.

I think these guys are being over smart. They over charged $ 25 thinking that we were drunk and wouldn’t notice that. I had to ask for itemized bill and there I noticed that they had charged me for couple of items which I didn’t order. This is really bad!
Never try to cheat your customers! I didn’t expect this from you guys.

Great place to hangout with friends. Visited Sherlock’s on a Saturday night and had an overall good experience. Drinks were cheap, which is a plus! The patio outside is also a plus since the place was pretty packed inside. All tables next to the live band were full.
My group of friends spent most of the time playing darts. Unfortunately, we only stayed downstairs and didn’t check out the upstairs area. Atmosphere was laid-​back and fun!

I like this place because of the music on Fridays, they always have pretty good bands. If you get tired you can go to the patio or the second bar. Crowd is pretty laid back as well as the dress code… options, options, options.

Great food, awful service. It took a waitress at least 10 minutes to greet us at the table we sat at. The food didn’t take that long. At the end of the meal we had to hunt down our waitress to get the check. I am not sure if I would recommend or even go back to this place.

This place is fun and has great live music. Everyday they have a new local band playing, and some bands are actually really great. I like this place more especially since they got rid of smoking inside, I don’t come out smelling like a pack of cigarettes. They do have a huge patio on both sides of the building for those of you that are smokers.
They have fun activities to play too like darts, arcade games and a large pool table, which is always very interested to see people getting into the game.
The drinks are good, and have really good drink specials. Their fries and calamari are pretty good.
The parking is a bit hectic, but luckily the parking lot in a large plaza so you will find parking, but they do offer Valet as well.

This place does get crowded on the weekends… glad it’s within walking distance… the drinks are cheap, though I’m not a fan of the food, the atmosphere is fun and upbeat most of the time.

Sherlock’s has pretty cheap drinks but it gets really crowded and everyone here is old. Go home. They have 3 dart boards but the last time we came, they only had enough darts for 2 of them. Also disappointed this place is located on 5100 Belt Line Rd, when in fact it should be on 221B Baker St if they are going to go with the Sherlock motif.

I absolutely love this place! There’s an upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs is more chill with dining areas, darts and a bar. The downstairs has a stage for live band karaōke, which is fun to participate in or watch! I have seen funny performances and amazing performers. Downstairs in definitely more lively! The food was pretty good and my beer was pretty cheap:) I will say the staff isn’t very attentive which is annoying but I still love the place. It’s a fun place to visit for sure.

Horrible service. Place smells like a cigarette. Social house is way better. Also female bartender on right side is horrible.

Atmosphere is cool, a bit loud, but the food is really mediocre for the price.
I ordered a chicken ceaser salad for $ 10 which the waitress said was «really big» as I was really hungry. The salad was small, but worst of all the palmful of chicken on the salad was extremely dry and tasted like it had been microwaved.
Your drinks will not be refilled.

This is a decent place to hang out for happy hour after work. The specials are decent with deals on wells and beer. I gave this place 3 stars because it was really smoky inside.
The appetizers were pretty good as well, the fried zucchini, macaroni balls, and the queso were good. Service was pretty good, so if you are looking for a decent HH spot and don’t mind the 2^nd hand smoke, this place is a good spot to hang out at.
