It’s close to my office so I go there several times per year. Good service, good selection, reasonably priced, good portions, average food. They’re perhaps kind of a jack of all trades, master of none restaurant.

Actually a pretty good al pastor burrito. Price was good and they are very convenient to work. I don’t eat out for lunch much but this is a very reasonable place. And I’m so tired of Jimmy John’s across the street.

Went for the first time today. The menu is mostly Mexican cuisines however they have a lot of other choices such as hotdogs, burgers, pizza Etc. I ordered a slice of the Italian beef and giardiniera pizza which was only 3.75 with a pop. It wasn’t too bad and will probably try the place again

I was moved to Addison for work and was heading down the road to a big box fast food joint. Had to change lanes and as I checked my blind spot the Salsa Grill was staring me in the face. The best part is that I used my original destination as a turnaround. Take that! Looking at the menu I was not sure if the place wanted to be to well rounded as it offered too many choices. I stuck with what my gut told me(which was overdue for a feeding). The steak burrito was great and the side of bean was a generous serving. I grabbed a to-go menu and plan to order here again.

Had to go here twice this week due to Jimmy Johns being closed for remodeling. This place has Mexican and American food. Both are good. The Mexican food is authentic. That seems to be what some reviewers here don’t like. But that is a sign of a good spot not bad. I don’t care for their Italian Beef but all else is mighty tasty. I have corporate folks who come in from Wisconsin who go out of their way to always go here for lunch. This week I had my usual chicken tacos, they were perfect as they always are. Friday was the Italian Sub. That is a killer. Nice job they do on all their items. Looking forward to next week!

This place has a wide variety of food selections and is a nice hidden gem in the ugly industrial heartlands of Addison, Illinois. The service was quick and the choices difficult the day I went here for a lunch. They have Mexican, Greek, and Italian foods along with the standard fast American foods. This place would be more well appreciated and loved if it was located in Chicago in some hipster enclave like you hear about Big Star and Flash tacos.

Mexican, Italian and pizza by the slice. Nice lunch option. I love their tortas, the bread is always good and soft on the inside and nicely toasted crunchy on the outside. Decent quality meat and not too high a price. Their pizza isn’t bad, especially when you really have a hankering for pizza but don’t want to shell out the money for an entire pizza. The horchata is pretty good too, not many places have that around this area, and their drink sizes are pretty nice, despite being $ 2 or whatever it is… everyone rapes you on drink prices(except McDonald’s), but at least you get a good drink portion here.

Okay this is not the worse place I have eaten, but it is far from the best. I would actually give it 1.5, but this does not allow me to. I have stopped in on serveral occasions and tried different things as it is close to work. The hot dogs are subpar. It bothers me when a Chicago style hot dog is served on a plain bun. It should always be a poppy seed bun. I found the service to be slow, I had ordered a gyros. The pizza is of poor quality although they do give you a big slice. Quantity over quality I guess. I ordered the rice water and found it to have way to much cinnamon. Not always a good thing, it irritated my throat. The tortas, or Mexican sandwich was not bad but it hardly made up for the rest. There are far better places to eat! Perhaps as another reviewer stated, they are trying to hard. Less items done well would be very welcomed.

Salsa Grill is an eatery located of of Route 53 in Addison. Upon walking in there’s a few tables set up, a TV and an ordering counter. I noticed a Vienna Beef sign on the corner of their window in passing by earlier in the week and decided I would have to visit and try the hot dogs. The employees were friendly and took my order and very soon it was brought to my table. The hot dog I received came on a regular non-poppy seed bun. The bun was soft but showed signs of dryness. A pickle easily as thick or thicker than the hot dog itself sat on top of the sandwich. There was noticeable celery salt, and a heck of a lot of mustard. The onion and relish were relatively sparse compared to the mustard. The tomato was chopped up salsa style which is a nice way to apply them in my opinion. The peppers included on the hot dog weren’t too hot and were a good compliment. The sausage itself was a skinless frank, it was warm and tasty. Overall the big problem with the hot dog here was waaaay too much mustard, a pickle larger than the sausage so it was more like eating a pickle sandwich with a hot dog on it rather than the other way around. This place has a wild amount of diversity in their menu, selling the following types of food. Hot dogs, burgers, Pizza, Taco’s, Burritos, Italian Beefs, Qusedillas, Salads. Perhaps they should narrow the menu down to a few items they do well and go from there.

I’ve stopped here a few times on my way to band practice since its perfectly on the way. I’ve worked around the menu a bit and overall can say that their american style food is pretty mediocre at best. The mexican stuff seems to be better though, I usually get a burrito. Overall if it wasn’t on the way when I’m in a hurry I wouldn’t continue to stop here. Decent enough if you don’t have many other options but if you’ve got time you might as well keep on driving to greener pastures.

i don’t know why the other people gave this place such a bad review. i always order the burrito from there i don’t really know about other foods from there. but i like their burritos better than any others in that area. i have never had to wait for more than 10 minutes at the longest. i don’t agree with the refill cost but that’s why i don’t actually eat there. i take to food to go. i’ll definately go back.

Lets see where do I begin… We called in a order for 5 tacos, and chips an salsa. By the time you get all the ingredients, you are paying 3.50 for one taco. Not to mention, they forget to put all the ingredients on there. The food is never consistent so you never know what you are going to get. Their salsa is like soup one day and huge chinks the next day. Its also spoiled at times and unless you call them and complain, they will still serve it. Their chips are always stale and they only fill the bag up half way. The chips on the top are 1 day old but the chips on the bottom are like 4 days old. Overall, we will never order from here again. And to top it off, it take them at least an hour to prepare your food even after you have called it in. This place need to be shut down.

Horrible. You can tell they reside across the street from Restaurant Depot by what they serve. I can deal with the fact they are«a greasy» spoon type burrito dive, but the food is just plain awful. Adding to that, they have an upcharge for what seems everything… and it is clear on their menu that they are more interested in getting their every last penny… $.50 for cheese, .25 for refills, an upcharge for this, an upcharge for that. Put out a good, well wrapped burrito and I would be interested in an upcharge. But the burrito fell apart quick and the«chicken» seemed more like road kill than a quality dive burrito. Chicken thigh meat with quality spices and a unique taste, I am all over it. But this place, a sorry excuse for even a walk up dump. Avoid it at all costs… even with a hangover appetite!

My husband once said he never met a fried mushroom that he didn’t like. Until eating here. How can a place possibly mess up fried food? Mushrooms, jalapeño poppers, fries, and mozzarella sticks all tasted the same because it seemed like the grease had not been changed since 2007. I know everything is supposed to taste good when you have the munchies, but apparently this experience has been the exception to that rule.
