Mo Shesha Lounge

I’ve been going to hookah lounges in Chicago for a long long time and unfortunately, this city with its surrounding suburbs is not the greatest for hookah fanatics. However, for the very few good ones that are here, I would say Moe Shehsa is one of these best, and by far the best in the suburbs. The crowd is chill and the staff is accommodating. The hookah is usually on point and you always know its going to be about $ 10 – 12 per person.
It’s nice in the summertime if you are lucky enough to get a seat outside on a good day with a light breeze, especially during Ramadan.
Most importantly, don’t forget to grab the small peaces of candy at the counter when paying your bill!

Shisha has gone from being a daily obsession to an occasional indulgence for me. This is absolutely the right place for that.

One of the better hookah bars that i have been to. The ambiance is great, it has a very cool relaxed feel to it. But the place is a little small, does gets crowded. The staff was friendly helped us with recommendations on which flavors to go with. And the hookah was great, they have to many options to pick from. Overall a great experience.

if you’ve seen how i met your mother, this is our version of mclaren’s. very cool vibe that goes on here. you can just sit back, relax, and know you’re going to have a great experience.
the hookah’s are done well. you can’t go wrong with guava. the waiters are cool, laid back, they remember what you’ve ordered, and offer great flavor recommendations. the owner is laid back, easy going, and respectable. in other words, they just want you to have a good time.
good tea, good coffee, and awesome smoothies.
i’m surprised at the low reviews, because i’ve never had a problem with them. if you’re being an idiot with your coals or are rude to the staff, don’t get mad if you get called out.

Great Hookah flavors here with funny names. Also make some good tea (black mint tea with money is recommended). Seating outside as well. Also serve some snacks (hummus with pita, etc.) but not full on restaurant food. But if you are hungry there is a good pizza place next door and they will bring the pizza to you while you are smoking sheesha next door :)

5 stars for the amazing service you get around here! I love this place because they have daily specials and wednesdays are $ 5 ladies night! Hookahs are great quality and the big ones. Service is always outstanding and we love getting the $ 5 nachos that come in a huge bowl with salsa and queso. They have tv’s all around, comfortable couches I would just recommend expanding the place or getting rid of the office chairs and replacing with couches!

If you enjoy hookah and you’re in the Chicagoland area, in my humble opinion, this is the only hookah lounge you should go to.

This is by far the best hookah lounge in the Chicago land suburbs. They have high quality hookah, great atmosphere and an amazing staff. This is also a gray place to watch sports games or get some work done on the free WiFi. If your a hookah smoker this is the place to be!

This is my favorite hookah bar around. Always great service and they know how to pack a hookah. I come here once or twice a week. Great atmosphere as well, relaxing couches. They also play all the sporting events on their 4 plasma screens. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality hookah experience.

Been to a lot of hookah spots and this is one of the better ones. No gimmicks or fake club atmosphere it is what you expect, a chill place where you can smoke good hookah with fair prices. (No hidden charges here each hookahs around $ 15). Don’t live around here but stop here every once in a while. Just wish it was a little bigger when it’s packed it gets a little cramed.

This place is really cool and the hosts are very nice and hospitable. I was greeted very warmly and welcomed as if I was family (my first time here). My waiter was very patient with me and suggested some awesome custom mixes which tasted so great! I had told him that my palette was tired of smoking the same thing at home and I wanted to try something new. He knew exactly what to suggest to make my smoking session amazing. I’ve been to a few hookah lounges and to be honest, not everyone in the Chicago area knows how to make a decent hookah. These people have a good selection of hookahs to use from including the Khalil mamoon ice hookahs. They also do a good job making it as well. The customers there are laid back and chill, and not the crazy rowdy young college types, which I can appreciate. Mostly middle eastern guests with your typical middle eastern hospitality.

The place is losing its touch and service quality has started to go down. We used to go there a lot but lately have noticed their inability to manage large crowd and talking rudely to the customers. I will find a new Shesha place to go to.

This place is awesome me and my boyfriend come here all the time the employees are nice and always Willing to help with whatever you need not to mention its super clean it has a really relaxed feel to the place witch is nice if youre like me and come here after work just looking to enjoy yourself and smoke some hookah :) they also have smoothies that are really good (my favorite is the grand slam) its not as expensive as other places ive been too I recommend this place to anyone who wants to come and have an amazing hookah experience.

This place is pretty far from where I live, but my friends and I needed a new hookah lounge to try out. This is the only hookah lounge I’ve been to that has fresh fruit hookah! No other hookah lounges has that option here. I’ve only had it in New York (it’s offered in mostly every hookah lounge there). I liked everything about this place except for their charcoal change every 25 minutes (they change everyone’s charcoal all at the same time). So every time it was my turn to smoke, it died out on me. I wish they would just change the charcoals whenever they died out and not wait to change everyone’s all at the same time. That’s why I left one star out. The service and the music were good though. Most lounges don’t even play Arabic music, but they did. Overall, I would go back to Mo Shesha lounge.

I’ve only been to a few hookah places, but from what I’ve learned thus far in my hookah-​ing, is that this place is more the intimate and chill variety. Place is very clean too, even the bathroom (which is important to me). The whole place is decorated very Arabian-​ie and even the music has the same theme which can be cool or annoying depending on who you are. I personally like the décor, it adds to the whole feel of the hookah.
My only beef is that you can’t always «taste» the «flavors» of the hookah and it «tastes» like a giant cigarette, which I guess it is but you get my point. If I order pineapple or mango I want to taste pineapple and mango. (i.e. there’s a hookah place I go to in St Louis where the fruit very flavor is VERY strong with the hookah and of course more enjoyable).
Other than that, the servers are pretty nice but they tend to keep small groups or I guess people they don’t know at the stiff uncomfortable chairs and keep larger groups (people they know??!) in the comfy looking plush areas. I say if your place is half empty, it should be first come first served. Just my thought.

Fun place when it’s not crowded. Great authentic Turkish coffee. Mango smoothie is great. They always check ID. They sell hookah and flavors. The owner is always there and he says hello to everyone which is really nice. The hookah is decent. Service is decent. Outside seating is nice in the summer.

The BEST hookah lounge in the Chicago Suburbs!
Totally unlike anything around, this place has incredible Egyptian Décor, low-​comfortable couches and lounge chairs, surround sound, HD TV’s and middle-​eastern music. The staff packs a perfect hookah, and are quite friendly, not to mention VERY knowledgeable. They give you the huge, like $ 300 hookahs, and you have the option to have an apple, orange, or pineapple around your bowl to sweeten the flavor, and cut down on the slightly harsh feeling of hookah smoke. Perfect.
My favorite part, is that the cultural feel of the place attracts a much classier clientele than your average hookah lounge. It’s not surprising to see a fleet of beautiful cars outside, BMW, Cadillac, AUDI… There’s a refreshing mix of cultures, and the vibe is wonderful.

Idk how this place has a 5 star rating… hookah here burns out in 5 minutes. Servers have attitude and the owner is a cheap man who loves to overcharge customers.
