Head of the house was so gracious! Music was Frank Sinatra all the way! Then the complimentary bread was delicious! I had the prime steak and carbonara and ate the whole thing!!! Def stopping here again while staying at the Crowne Plaza for a work meeting!

One of Dallas’ best kept secrets. My husband and his business teams meet here at least once or twice a week. Don’t miss this spot! Also perfect for a nice little romantic evening. The food is always right on

I came here with a group of friends who are doing wine tasting all over town. We had a great time and the food was good, wine was good. They have great appetizers and I didn’t order any dinner. The service was great and the owner/manager was friendly and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere with a nice touch of class. The only thing was at the end of the night, the waiter/owner had mixed up our bills and didn’t seem to think there was a problem with that. While some people just paid their bill, I did not, I asked to have it corrected. I have big issues with places getting my bill wrong and charging me for more than I ordered. While some people might find it confrontational and embarrassing to dispute something, I do not. If I order a bottle, I am paying for the bottle and not per glass of wine. I did not have an attitude, I just stood firm that I wanted my bill fixed. My other friends where embarrassed and just paid for their bill, but when you do that to a customer, chances are they will not be coming back anytime soon. So get their bills right. We are not a non-tipping group. I still tip even if service is bad. The service was great so why ruin it with the bill being wrong?

Omg! So far the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to. I ordered the shrimp with spaghetti and it’s delicious. My husband went with the lasagna, which was also good. We love that the food didn’t make you feel like you just had a brick for dinner. We highly recommend this place.

I love Italian. This place is great! Owners are Italian & English. Francesco always does the cheek kiss and talks with his eyebrows because his hands are used to holding pans. I love it. Jane is a gracious hostess and even though I’ve been there less than a dozen times she remembers me! One son now runs the kitchen and the food is awesome. They all work there. I dig that. I’ve been to both locations. I love watching they sneak outside and grab the fresh herbs in the back. Great private room too.

Sounds hard to believe, but this place really does have the best Italian food in Dallas! I have eaten here several times over the past 3 years. Last night I had the house special Osso Bucco which came with cavetelli and cream sauce. As well prepared as what I have ever had in Italy. The free bread is actually a medium sized pizza made with olive oil, fresh parm, and rosemary, served piping hot from their wood fired oven. Italian owner on site, superb service. If you have not gone here, you are REALLY missing out.

Horrible service, I guess the larger party was more important than my date and I. We ended up leaving after 20 min waiting to place or drink and food order. I guess they don’t like gay couples either!

Sooooooo good! We walked in an were greeted immediately. Told about the specials and sat. The bread was great!(No Unilocal coupon needed, every table gets it for free). Got the steak and pasta(don’t remember exactly which one) the steak was so tender, I didn’t even need a knife! Also ordered lobster ravioli. PERFECT! And we finished with the bananas Francesco. Omg!!! So delicious! My boyfriend is Italian and he gave it 2 thumbs up! The décor and/architecture were definitely NOT Italian. I think if they were to remove the neon«open» signs in the window, the«buffet style» antipasto table and change the Décor to Italian style it would be amazing! But this is Unilocal not house hunters. So as far as the food goes, A+

My fiancé and I went here for a date night for our first time and we were pleasantly surprised! The outside is less than attention drawing but it’s like a best kept secret! A warm Italian welcome greats you at the door! They walk you through visual specials and pull out chairs! Romantic table setting with dim lights and candles. The thing I really love about this place is that it’s not over crowded and they treat you like their guest! What a relief in the hustle and bustle of Dallas! We will certainly be coming back! The ciopino and veal special were amazing!

I had a variety of items at this place. We started with the antipasto which had a variety of vegetables For my main entrée I had the cioppino which was cooked in this amazing broth and packed with seafood, lobsters, mussels, clams, squid, you name it. Each bite had so much flavor and just a hint of spice. It also came with a side of noodles which I barely touched because there was so much seafood. I finished off the dinner with the banana foster which is made table side and had the perfect amount of caramelization. I think you had to roll me out the front door. The owners were very sweet and stopped by to say hi which I thought was nice. The service was attentive and never lacking, we honestly felt like we were part of the big Italian family when dining here.

This place is AMAZING!!! It looks plain from outside, but it’s like stepping into another world when inside. Francesco is phenomenal, you can feel he genuinely appreciates and loves his customers. This place features very TRADITIONAL Italian food, nothing like what you’d find at the chain restaurants. The antipasto appetizer is definitely worth it if you like fresh vegetables, and the tomatoes are infused with basil flavor, very good. Same goes for the bread, which is also wonderful and goes perfectly with the veggies. I had the lobster ravioli and my dining partner had the veal chop, the veal was exactly like you’d dream, extremely smoothly textured. The lobster ravioli was rich in lobster flavor. Neither dishes were overwhelming, both had mellow, balanced flavors served in decent proportion. And I left delighted, my meal was topped off when«O Mio Babino Caro» played! The atmosphere is very intimate and romantic. You can taste the freshness in the food here; I enjoyed it and will definitely come back if I want great traditional Italian food.

The food, the service, the daily specials, the hospitality are all first class. It feels like you are in an Italian family’s home kitchen. Date night here should ensure you get lucky. Nice place for any special occasion, they a large private room. Finally, they have several gluten free options for an Italian restaurant. That is what made it 5 stars for me. I will go back again and again.

The owner/waiter were very attentive. The pear/Gorgonzola salad was delicious! My Husband had the lobster ravioli that was just amazing. For dessert we split the chocolate hazelnut mousse, and it is hands down my new favorite chocolate dessert. My cousin had the bananas Francesco with pistachio ice cream that also tasted very good!

Really nice environment but the staff was kind of rude i guess they dont like biracial couples because they were friendly with everyone but us. Our server was very unfriendly. The food was just bland def not the Italian food i was expecting based on reviews. The wine and bread were good. The calamari was wayyy too rubbery Our entrees werent even worth a mention Should have went to olive garden. –_– Only reason i am giving a 2nd star is because of the wine and bread Wont be returning and it was not a good choice for a first date

Strictly vegetarian review– They have few vegetarian options here but nothing great that would make me go there again and again. Interesting salads though, ambiance is nice, good place to plan a family dinner. Service was good too.

Great ambience. Pleasant service. We ordered steak and lobster ravioli. Both were great. I would highly recommend the place for a nice classy dinner.
