Billy’s Fast Food

Drove by and ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Not too impressed with food but chocolate milkshake was alright. But then it takes real efforts to botch chocolate milkshakes…

Our business just moved here to Addison from Elk Grove. Someone at our new location said Billy’s broasted chicken was good. So I figured the Gyros would be too. Well had delivered to our location. Everything was cold and fries tasted stale. On top of it there was $ 3.00 delivery and I gave a $ 2.00 tip. Coulda got something great just for the $ 5 bucks at Portillos.

Friendly hello as soon as you walk in the door. I had an awesome chicken dinner, fries, drink that was cooked to order. If you have room, order a piece of baklava!

Excellent customer service, plenty of space, and very clean place. Good for those cheat days.

Hands down the best tasting chicken I have ever tasted I have a business across the street and I eat there 2 – 3 times a week just can’t get enough give them a try you will not regret it trust me

Excellent food. I couldn’t decide between rice and Greek potatoes so the owner gave me a little bit of both. Such great service at a fast food restaurant. It was unexpected but very much appreciated. The souvlaki was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Love Billy’s. Laid back, good food for a good price, great staff, delivery AND drive through service.
I want to try their burgers and chicken sandwich but am stuck on the gyro salad and cheese fries for now.

This is my second time ordering from Billy’s I recently moved to Addison. This place so far has to be my new favorite place. I ordered an 8 piece broasted chicken dinner. We had more food than we could eat and the broasted chicken was phenomenal. I come from north eastern wisconsin where broasted chicken is a staple at every wedding. Billy’s ranks up there with some of the best broasted chicken I have ever had. The wonderful lady behind the counter even greeted my by name even though we have never met just based off my order. I would highly recommend this place.

I am extremely mad that they were rude to me and my family today. Their business hours say they close at 9pm during the weekday and when we got there at 830 they had open doors and open sign lit up. When we walked in the old lady that is always at register turned us away and said they were closed and shut off the lights. I guess the old lady was tired and didn’t care about our business. They need to update their business hours and not lie to customers! Don’t waste your time going here. If you want similar food to this place head over to Yorky’s instead! 836 N York Elmhurst. Very friendly, great food and plentiful.

I like the Gyros (including the pitas, feta (add-​on) and fries), fried chicken, Greek chicken, Shish kabobs, Greek Salad and the meat loaf. I am still waiting to have a meal I didn’t like there.

Don’t let the «lack of being a chain» or the location keep you away!
We were «stuck» here due to a delay at the bowling alley down the road. We didn’t want to eat greasy bowling alley food for lunch and this place was within walking distance, so we took our chances.
I had the Greek salad with chicken and my husband had a pasta/​marinara/​meatball dish (they had a name for it that I can’t remember)
BOTH of us were very please with the quality of our food. The place was clean and the service was friendly. I would come here again if I lived in the area!

Just got home from Billy’s and opened my to go bag to find the BIGGEST grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had!!! It had two breasts on it and was absolutely delicious!!! The pickle on the sandwich is a nice touch that I liked. For $ 8 something I got a ton of fries and a gargantuan grilled chicken breast sandwich that was juicy and probably the best I’ve ever had.
I didn’t go inside so I can’t speak to that but my order was promptly taken at the drive thru and within 5 minutes I got my food and I was ready to go.
Next time, I’ll HAVE TO try the broasted chicken as that is what everyone is raving about!!!

Whenever I go to Billy’s I have to fight with myself between the Souvlaki dinner and the chicken sandwich. Both are incredibly good! You can’t go wrong with Billy’s!

Ordered the broasted chicken dinner. Comes with bread and lots of fries. Definitely call ahead or wait 15 minutes. Worth the wait. Chicken is moist and very tasty without being oily.

Great Chicago Greek Style fast food. The Greek potatoes are fantastic. Prices are a little high but the portions are good.

We were the last customers of the night, but you wouldn’t know that by the quality of the food! We ordered the gyros and there was enough for two meals in one! Delicious! Definitely will be my new gyro go-​to!

Had the broasted chicken twice. A 2 piece with fries, garlic bread and a drink is just under $ 9. Spacious seating, a few tvs and no frills, just order, eat and go. A pretty extensive menu for a «gyro joint» and a nice alternative to endless fast food places in the area. The menu is Greek influenced fast food, broasted chicken, gyros and chicken kabobs with the usual dog and burger fare. The sign says the best broasted chicken in town, and I’m not arguing.

Broasted chicken meal — 3.5 stars. Flavorful, lightly crispy skin and non-​dry meat. Meat didn’t have any flavor, but it was juicy. I supplemented it with bbq sauce. Pass on the fries and bread. Okay coleslaw.
Cheeseburger — 3 stars. Average in taste. There was one slice each of tomato and pickle. This would’ve been fine, except for the saddening size of them (see photo).

The broasted chicken is very tasty. As other reviewers have noted, call ahead. It takes 15 minutes for preparation. I ordered the broasted chicken, broasted potatoes. The chicken was well seasoned. It puts me in the mind of fried chicken without the grease. The meat almost tastes as if it were marinated.
The potatoes were very good but I would be inclined to try something different the next time. I took off a star because no substitutions are allowed and the person taking the order was very dry. If you are in the Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Itasca or Addison area, you should check this place out. There are plenty of food options to choose from. The menu offers all American meals and Grecian items. The gyros, greek potatoes, grilled chicken sandwich, grilled pork chops and chicken kabob plates also like items worth trying.
Give this place a try, you will not be sorry.

Geez, I’ve been coming here for years and I haven’t Unilocaled about this place!
This is a local joynt that I LOVE their broasted chicken! I mean FRESH Broasted Chicken!
They have a drive through however, if you order the broasted chicken plan to wait up to 15 mins for your meal for lunch if you don’t get there before the lunch hour rush or dinner rush. I suggest to call ahead and you can literlly pick it up at the drive through or walk in and pick up and have a seat and eat! It’s so worth the wait of the chicken. It’s skin is perfectly cooked, crispy, and the meat is so juicy! It’s best eaten freshly cooked!

My chicken meal came with fries and toasted french buttered garlic bread-​soft and chewy!
I don’t care much of the cole slaw. It’s more tangy than sweet, I like sweet KFC slaw myself.
The parking lot is small but this family owned place knows how to cook!
They serve other foods here especially Greek items on the list. But again I“m here for the Broasted chicken unless they offer samples of their other items, LOL!
If you’re in the area, I’d recommend ordering their Broasted Chicken here, it’s that good! Make time or call ahead!
