If driving and sightseeing you might blink and drive by this… more than once, and then upon pulling in ya might still think you have wrong spot. We saw a man fishing who ensured we arrived where intended. Btw, the water was so low I’m not sure what the man was fishing for, we didn’t see any fish. While having a picnic, we watched many canoes go in and out of river, and families appeared to be having a good time. A bit entertaining and seemingly safe for the kiddos as when they exited their canoes, water didnt even reach their knees. The bridge is a nice setting for photo taking and one can stroll along section of the trail for a short walk. If driving by, its a good place to stretch out legs and get fresh air yet not worth a long trip just to visit this one spot.

Historic site, more than a park. A certified section of the trail of tears. Lots of people us the park as a take out for canoe trips.

There is literally nothing here. A single old building, a bridge, the ruins of another bridge, a boat launch and some fields and roads. Skip.
